But it's also quite irrelevant because any good singer should have a range of at least two octaves. And 'Soona Soona' fitted well into both the singers' ranges. So clearly, the difference between a male and a female singer's range is irrelevant here. They both should have done well in the given scale.

And please do not use your taaleem to score points in such a petty argument (you know who you are!) - yeh itni sasti cheez nahin hai. Anyway, as we have seen with all the greats of music, music teaches us humility. So make your guruji proud and be a bit more humble. 😊

your comment about Soona Soona is right, it was fitted good for both the singers in the songs... and thts wht i told 1st place, bt ths guy cnt get the thing right and bring male and female scale comparison. so I had to jump in and stopping him to fooling around. 😃

I have been saying this many times,,, that I dont think so Anwesha can replace Shreya as the best female singer! She is a awesome singer no doubt, But it is really very diffcult to become a well established playback singer. You need to have a different, unique & melodious voice, Anwesha has a good voice but it sounds similar to shreyas voice! Thousands of singers from reality shows come & go every year!

perhaps, I can help you to come out of illusion. you can go to Calcutta and reach Sangeet reseach Academy (SRA) or Shrutinandan to listen some of the lectures from Pt Ajay Chakraborty who can enlighten you about scale of male and female singers.. You dnt have to learn there, bcoz there is a bsic criteria for admission, i m afraid i dnt see that in you 😆 but attending seminars about music with demonstrations are free 😳
