What I have said about males and female voices is the rule.It is an established fact.
Manna de who is a legend in classical singing said that he needed 12 long years of daily riyaaz before he could sing in the taar saptak .He said that he always envied Mohd.Rafi and Lataji who had the natural God's gift and could easily sing the higher notes.
Parveen sultana and before her asha bhonsale are two of the very very restricted group who can sing in the scale pandhri paanch. The male scale usually is restricted to kali 1,2 .If you consider songs which have been sung by both male and female singers....eg:kabhie kabhie mere dil mein....Mukesh's scale is much lower than lataji's.That is because both are singing in the scale ideal to them.
Narendra chanchal is one other singer of older times who has a high scale - a unique phenomenon for a male. But usually quawaals are expected to have a high scale .

The original song soons soons was sung by sonu nigam.Rahul Vaidya has a voice very similar to sonu nigam. Therefore his voice quality was ideal for the song.
But if you hear the original, even sonu nigam , in recording , has struggled a bit with the song..That is because of the additional variations.
Every song has high and low notes. But look at the scale of soons soona .It is not an easy scale for a normal singer.

you analysis clearly indicates that you can do anything but music.😆

some of your legendary comments...

The truth of the matter is that a female voice has a wider range and a greater capacity for variation than a male voice 😆

its other way around

So it is obvious that when an equally trained male and female singer sing together , the female appears to be superior when higher notes are involved and the male voice has a natural advantage in low notes 😆

what a legendary comment, sadly its wrong 😃

So Rahul should have got more marks for that song as he was flawless in the renedition whereas anwesha struggled a bit. However Anwesha sang a sargam more than rahul and so made an impression that she was superior

we all know who struggled 😆

Ha ha ha ha.King of devil please stop lying on this forum. If you are really interested in music then let me teach you.😆
Please do not misguide people by telling lies.😳

@rahullfan.

you are really very lucky..HE will teach u music.Ashraynaik ji i am also interested to learn classical music from..can u plz help me??can u give online training??don't worry i will pay you for that.Since childhood i had a dream to learn classical music but when i heard HR i thought shayad yeh hi classical music hai so i gave up..but now i m really interested..should i PM u?

One more question i read somewhere u said u play keyboard..my question is what kind "keyboard"??computer keyboard??plz don't mind if i said anything wrong as i really have no idea of music,i just roam here to acquire some knowledge from some TALENTED people like you.

Today onwards i will call u GURUJI.

Keyboard stands for synthesizer, casio or harmonium.Initially I learnt harmonium for 3 years. It was recommended by my guru as it would help me in my riyaaz and also help to understand the exact swar involved.
After that I got interested in the synthesizer as it is the backbone of an orchaestra and can do the job of a number of instruments except for the percussion ones.Am still practising whenever I get time. After all gynaecology is a very heavy profession and hardly gives time for artistic pursuits.

perhaps, I can help you to come out of illusion. you can go to Calcutta and reach Sangeet reseach Academy (SRA) or Shrutinandan to listen some of the lectures from Pt Ajay Chakraborty who can enlighten you about scale of male and female singers.. You dnt have to learn there, bcoz there is a bsic criteria for admission, i m afraid i dnt see that in you 😆 but attending seminars about music with demonstrations are free 😳

OMG you guys aren't gonna stop arguing about scales are you! It's quite entertaining. 😆

But it's also quite irrelevant because any good singer should have a range of at least two octaves. And 'Soona Soona' fitted well into both the singers' ranges. So clearly, the difference between a male and a female singer's range is irrelevant here. They both should have done well in the given scale.

And please do not use your taaleem to score points in such a petty argument (you know who you are!) - yeh itni sasti cheez nahin hai. Anyway, as we have seen with all the greats of music, music teaches us humility. So make your guruji proud and be a bit more humble. 😊

And here is a lovely video of two great singers being humble in their own way. (And maybe we can learn something about scales in it too! 😊
