Karzzzz: Next in Kenya and Bombay

As is known, T-Series' Satish Kaushik directed Himesh Reshammiya starrer went on the floors during the second week of February in South Africa. Shooting is on in full swing and three songs and some important scenes have been picturized at exotic locales like the famous Emperor's Palace and The Lagoon Beach in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Karzzzz also marks the debut of producer-director Indra Kumar's (Dil, Beta, Masti, etc.) daughter, Shweta Kumar. Besides Kumar, the movie also features veterans like Raj Babbar, Danny Denzongpa, Gulshan Grover, Urmila Matondkar and Rohini Hatangadi. As per the tentative shooting schedule of the remake of Subhash Ghai's Rishi Kapoor, Tina Munim (Ambani) starrer, Karz (1980), titled Karzzzz (for numerological reasons), the unit of the film is all set to move to Kenya and then back to Bombay.

Here is wishing a second success to the composer, singer and now successful actor (Aap Ka Surroor), Himesh Reshammiya.

Himesh talks about his new film M2KNDM2K

For all those who thought that Aap Kaa Surroor - The Moviee was a mere flash in the pan, can simply take a break. This actor-composer-singer, who is busy shooting for the much hyped Karzzzz in Cape Town, has now signed a film titled Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekkh Mudh Mudh Ke (M2KNDM2K), his first ever on-screen 'love triangle'. This film will have debutante Jennifer Kotwal paired opposite Himesh. The second lady is Niharika Singh, who is making her debut in A Love Iiisshtory.

Just like Himesh's other films; M2KNDM2K too, would be shot extensively abroad, but also in Punjab and Delhi. Besides that, as usual, music is touted to be the USP of this film. Rumors have it that M2KNDM2K will feature eight romantic tracks and that it's very young, contemporary and definitely ahead of it's times.

Actor fit - Music hit! So who are the makers?

M2KNDM2K will be produced by Aditya Singh (of Jagannath Films) and directed by Seema and Sudhir. The duo has been directing ad films and been doing the packaging of a lot of shows on various channels. It's said that the script of M2KNDM2K and the way the film was conceived by Aditya, Seema and Sudhir, prompted Himesh (who is currently busy shooting for Karzzzz in Jo'berg and Cape Town), to sign this film.

And finally cometh the man on the hot seat

Himesh says that the strength of M2KNDM2K lies in it's lovely script. And that God willing, the music will be huge too. He added that he has indeed been blessed by God with some memorable compositions and that he is going to use them in M2KNDM2K. He is all praise for Aditya, Seema and Sudhir, who, he feels have a very good visual sense, and is sailing a golden boat with him as the captain!

And finally the man on the hot seat

Himesh (who was busy shooting for Karzzzz in Cape Town), excitedly said "The strength of M2KNDM2K lies in its lovely script. God willing, the music will be huge too. I have been blessed by God with some memorable compositions and I am going to use them in M2KNDM2K. Aditya Singh is making a very big film in terms of production values and Seema-Sudhir have a very good visual sense. In my interaction with them in last six months, I can confidently say that they will make a very good film!" When asked about the progress on Karzzzz, Himesh, with brimming confidence filling his throat, said "I am loving every bit that I am shooting for Karzzzz with Satishji (Satish Kaushik). Bhushan Kumar too, is leaving no stones unturned in terms of production values".

The shooting of Karzzzz was stalled after its leading man Himesh Reshammiya suffered a major sun stroke due to which he was unable to shoot. The shooting, which is currently going on near Cape Town, is stalled until Himesh recovers.

Our source from the unit says, "Himeshbhai was shooting for a song in a desert, which is an hour's drive away from Cape Town. It was extremely hot and humid and all the unit members gradually started feeling uncomfortable. After a while, Himesh collapsed due to a sun stroke."

Initially, everyone thought that Himesh had fainted. After the shooting was immediately stopped, a doctor was called to the sets and Himesh was taken back to his hotel.

"Himesh called his mother as soon as he reached the hotel. He trusts his mother the most and always carries homeopathic medicines whenever he travels out of Mumbai. As his mother knows a lot about homeopathy, she told him which medicine will make him feel better. Himesh recovered quickly due to his mother's advice," adds the source.

Incidentally, Himesh had even released his debut film Aap Ka Surroor on his mother's birthday on June 29, last year.

When contacted, Himesh says, "Yes, I did collapse because of a sun stroke. It was extremely hot when we were shooting near Cape Town. Thankfully, I didn't faint. I am perfectly fine now, only because of the medicines my mom recommended. I guess maa ka nuskha kabhi khali nahi jata (Mothers are never wrong). Although I have started shooting again, I am taking extra care as I don't want to fall ill again."
