Meet Himesh's new love doll
By Subhash K Jha

If it was Hansika Motwani in his debut film Aap Ka Surroor, it's filmmaker Indra Kumar's daughter Shweta Kumar for Himesh Reshammiya in Satish Kaushik's under-production version of Karzzz.

And now for his third film, to go on the floors later this year, Himesh will be apired with model Niharika Singh in her screen debut.

Niharika who was Ponds Femina Miss India Earth in 2005 comes from a very non-filmy background in Hardwar.

She has modelled extensively and is quite a known name and face in modeling circles. Currently she's training rigorously in acting and dancing to be worthy of Himesh's hustrionics in John Mathew Mathan's class-defying romance.

While Himesh plays an full-on tapori in A Love Iiiisshtory (Himesh insists the title be spelt with triple 'i' and double 's' ) Niharika will be cast as a la-di-dah high-society Miss.

The romantic conflict arises when the tapori takes on the elitist gori.

This would be Himesh's third starrer, and with a newcomer opposite him.

And that's how he likes it. "My chemistry with new faces on screen has always worked, whether it's in my music videos or my films. So I've taken a policy decision that all the films I'm doing will introduce new faces opposite me."

Reshammiya prefers working with new girls

Mumbai, March 11 (IANS) Composer-singer Himesh Reshammiya is teaming up with model Niharika Singh in his third film and says he prefers to work with new faces. They will be seen together in John Mathew Mathan's "A Love Iiiisshtory' (Reshammiya insists the title be spelt with triple 'i' and double 's').

"My chemistry with new faces on screen has always worked, whether it's in my music videos or my films. So I've taken a policy decision that all the films I'm doing will have new faces opposite me," Reshammiya told IANS.

He teamed up with Hansika Motwani in his debut film "Aap Ka Surroor" and then with Indra Kumar's daughter Shweta Kumar for "Karzzz", which he is co-producing with Satish Kaushik.

And now for his third film, to go on the floors later this year, Reshammiya will launch Niharika, who was Ponds Femina Miss India Earth in 2005. She comes from a very non-filmy background in Haridwar.

She has modelled extensively and is quite a known face in the modelling circle. Currently, she's training rigorously in acting and dancing to be worthy of Reshammiya's histrionics.

While Himesh plays a full-on tapori in "A Love Iiiisshtory', Niharika will be cast as a la-di-dah high-society girl.

The romantic conflict arises when the tapori takes on the elitist girl.

Himesh Reshammiya becomes Punjab Da Puttar

By : Joginder Tuteja,Bollywoodhungama
Tuesday, March 11 2008

While Akshay Kumar has been ruling the roost as a reigning Singh Is Kinng, guess who has turned into a Punjabi munda with a vengeance? It is none other than 'sadda' Himesh Reshammiya! Even though he belongs to Gujarati origin, Himesh has developed a sudden fascination for anything and everything which is Punjabi. Reason? His character in his upcoming film M2KNDM2K (Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekkh Mudh Mudh Ke) is that of a modern boy who hails from Delhi.

So much has the actor/composer/singer immersed himself into the character that he has started conversing with everyone around him in Punjabi. Chuckles a source
attached to the crew of the film which is currently filming Karzzzz in Cape Town, "Himesh bhai, or shall I now say Himesh paaji, is going an extra mile to get prepared for the character he enacts in M2KNDM2K. Since learning Punjabi doesn't happen in a day or a week, he has already started working on getting the accent right. So much so that he speaks to everyone on the sets in Punjabi only."

When contacted Himesh was initially reluctant to talk about his preparation plans for M2KNDM2K. However, he did confess that he was required to pick up the Delhi lingo. He said, "See, you are required to work hard on any role that you play, whether in terms of body language, mannerisms or the way you speak. To add authenticity to the character, it is very important to get the accent right. We all know that Delhites have a very peculiar accent and one can't afford to allow a slip here or there."

Himesh goes on to add, "M2KNDM2K is a modern day love triangle and it travels from India (Delhi and Punjab) to Paris. I don't want to miss out on the detailed nuances that a Delhi boy would have in his character and hence have started practicing right away."

Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekkh Mudh Mudh Ke introduces a new leading lady Jenifer Kotwal opposite Himesh. The film also features Niharika Singh for whom this will be her second film with Himesh. M2KNDM2K will be produced by Aditya Singh (of Jagannath Films, earlier partner in Contiloe films) and directed by debutant duo of Seema and Sudhir.

Coming soon: Himesh's love triangle

Himesh Reshammiya may be still shooting for his second acting venture, Karzzzz, but his third film is already ready.
The singer and composer, who made his acting debut with last year's hit, Aap Kaa Surroor: The Moviee: The Real Luv Story, is going to share screen space with two actresses in triangular love story, titled Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh Mudh Mudh Ke.

The actresses are Niharika Singh and Kannada star Jennifer Kotwal. The film will be directed by Seema and Sudhir (who have done many ad films) and will feature eight songs by Himesh.

The title of the film has been taken from Raj Kumar's hit song in the film Shree 420, picturised on Nadira. The film will be produced by Aditya Narayan Singh's Shree Jaganath Entertainment. It will be shot in Punjab and Paris.

Himesh Reshammiya wants only debutantes
11th Mar 2008 20.10 IST
By ApunKaChoice

Himesh Reshammiya is not interested in acting with seasoned and established actresses. He wants to work with new girls only.

His first film as an actor, Aap Ka Suroor , introduced the cutie Hansika Motwani . His on-the-floors Karzzzz has Himesh romancing newbie Shweta Kumar .

His two other films will also have only newcomers opposite Himesh. John Matthew Mathan's A Love Issshtory has the former Miss India Niharika Singh . And Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh Mudh Mudh Ke will have Himesh rubbing his shoulders with two babes, newcomer Jennifer Kotwal and Niharika Singh. The film is a love triangle.

Himesh says it is his conscious decision to work with newcomers only.

"Be it my music videos or my first film 'Aap Ka Surroor', my chemistry with newcomers has always been special. It has been appreciated by my fans. That's why I have decided to introduce new girls in all my films," Himesh is quoted as saying.

Himesh is presently busy with 'Karzzzz'. However, he says he has already begun practicing how to speak in a slightly Punjabi accent for his character of a Delhiite in 'Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh'.

And for 'A Love Issshtory', Himesh will adopt the lingo and mannerisms of a tapori.

Himesh Reshammiya has been taking Punjabi lessons from none other than Karzzzz director Satish Kaushik. Himesh, who plays a Delhi boy in the love triangle Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh Mudh Mudh Ke, needs to brush up on his Punjabi speaking skills for the role.
Our source says, "Himesh who is a Gujarati needs to acquire a typical Punjabi accent. The singer-turned-actor has taken it up as a challenge."

A still from Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekkh Mudh Mudh Ke
Our source adds, "While shooting for Karzzzz in South Africa, Himesh realised that Satish Kaushik was the ideal person to help him with his Punjabi speaking skills since the he is a Delhi-based-Punjabi. So, he went up to Satish and asked him for assistance."

Himesh we hear was such a sincere student that he kept speaking in Punjabi as much as possible on the sets of Karzzzz.

Himesh says, "I have to learn the Delhi lingo as well as the mannerisms of the people there. It will help me get under the skin of the character I am playing. "

Himesh adds, "The film is a love triangle set in the backdrop of Delhi, Punjab and Paris. At the moment, I am working with Satishji for Karzzzz and hence trying to make the most of my time with him. Satishji has helped me learn the finer nuances of Punjabi."

Back to Section Stories Posted On Sunday, March 16, 2008

Kunal M Shah

Actor Dino Morea is all set to visit Malaysia next month to cheer the Formula One Indian team Force India. This is the first time that India is participating in F1, a sport that has taken the country by storm.

However, the actor wanted to go to Australia for the F1 match starting today but was detained because of his film Karzzzz with Himesh Reshammiya. Though unable to make it to the first season, Dino will definitely be present for the next season.

Dino says, "I was scheduled to fly last night to watch the F1 Indian team play for the first time. However, I had to cancel the trip because of my film. I have a special appearance in the movie and hence can't reveal much."

He adds, "I have always been a huge fan of racing. I like Louis Hamilton who won the grand prix last year. I am very excited about the Indian team which is participating for the first time. So, obviously all my cheers will be for them," says Dino.
