Let's hope CVs are shedding light on the hypocrisy and vile nature of some people who stack the deck in every way against people on sight. Rather than continue to propogate such characters as the norm and that women of the next generation must tolerate such despicable behavior let's hope the CVs plan to shed light on the atrocity of such behavior for the viewers.
Case in point... why do elders in Indian families feel a sense of entitlement to receive respect from everyone in their environment when they barely show any to the same people. Take Mausi on this show for instance. She walk into Gokhale family home and in an instant decided that Mohi had corrupted the women of the house without getting to know an iota of what had transpired before she waltzed in like a queen.

She hated the presence of outsider Mohi, the villager on sight. She fills Sharad's ears with gossip that idle women would circulate between them to pass time. Shame on Sharad, an educated man for falling for her tricks and fueling her wrath. Both have an issue with the truth that doesn't fit their narrow mindset. Howdoes it affect even a few hours of their everyday life when it is Anusha who volunteers her time teaching Mohi or for that matter Mohi furthering her education?

Today the Mausi was chanting with prayer beads in her hands. What's the use! Her mind is wrapped in bad intentions and plans to hurt Mohi. She treats the women in the house with utter contempt and is living up to her role as nautanki nari of the worst kind. Anyone who would intentionally pour boiling tea/coffee on someone's bare back is plan evil.

Someone ought to remind this Mausi that respect is to be earned not demanded, no matter the age. At this moment, it's Mausi who needs to earn her respect not the others. Mausi and Rekha will get along very well like a house on fire with their mean spirited and narrow minded view of the world. They think the world owes them what they demand and the rest must kow down to them. They are in for a rude awakening and life has a way of teaching lessons for those who live an entitled life with contempt for others in their hearts.

One would think that CVs will use their medium to show how terrible it is for older people to manipulate and emotionally blackmail the younger ones into doing their bidding. Even if the older family members have gone through hell in their younger days at the hands of their in-laws the more empathic ones will not want to repeat the same mistakes of their inlaws. All those who oppose Mohi's education need to have their heads examined. Why do some of these Gokhales feel threatened by Mohi's education especially when none of them are stepping in but it's Anusha who volunteered very happily to help Mohi further her studies?

What is the purpose of bringing Mausi into the picture other than to rile and throw her unwanted weight around the family members forcing the men to behave like timid boys who are afraid to speak up. Ayush's dad is a professor and one would think he of all people would tell the old lady to put a lid on her nautanki.

Sharad's wife is Mrs. Shrewd, she read Mausi like an open book. Are the rest of the Gokhales so naive or dimwit that they can't see that Mausi has created problems for the family from the moment she walked in the door. She threatens to leave and never come back...to that viewers can collectively say "good riddance, take a hike and get lost someplace else". 😳

Exactly...Why is she doing all these are really extremely hard to digest or to understand...Why the others at least can't doubt her is only to make viewers stupid but they are the first stupid...
Have you noticed how the old woman keeps on rolling her eyes...
The Gokhale are against Mohi getting educated but I'll say have they bought Mohi or is she only a maid in the house...
Ayush is the one I dislike the most in the whole scenario from the very beginning as for me he can't be a good lead...He does not leave the impact as one will feel watching him (my pov)
Yeah this is also true how the other ladies can't feel it that since the entry of the mausi who's here only to create problem all the chaos began...
Good if she goes as she's unbearable... as well as Sharad...Why are the characters in these show so problematic??

Indian soaps sooner or later slippery slide into the same elder member of family with a victim complex who emotionally blackmails and terrorizes the rest of the family. Or she goes for the haughty, dumb but full of herself matriarch who also blackmails even the most educated one in the family.
Times are different ... anyone who would sell their self-respect in the name of SHOWING respect to an elder member of the family to take a good look at themselves. Who in their right mind would continue to be victimized and dance to the tune of someone who is intentionally treating them like they are there only to serve her or him (the senior vamp and villains)?

Miserable people make other people miserable. Miserable Mausi is definitely one of them. There's not a happy bone in her body since she walked into the Gokhale household. Does she have kids of her own or a husband? If so, she should get back to them and annoy them instead?😆 They probably were happy to see her leave and give them a break.😛

Once Rekha gets wind of Ayush's tribal wedding in Bhuwana, she won't let the Gokhales off the hook. She's still sniffing around looking for something to put the kabash on the wedding plans so she can save Anusha from the clutches of Ayush. She is right though her intentions are not.

Ayush the coward doesn't have the guts to tell Anusha the woman he claims to love, the truth about his gunshot tribal wedding to Mohi to save his life. Wouldn't she understand? Maybe Mohi's mother or someone from Bhuwana is going to show up during the wedding and drop the bomb. Rekha will not be happy given her Page 3 friends will be in full attendance for the occasion.😆

I agree with you. Respect should be earned. Ayush family are living in the past. Right is right and wrong is wrong so a person should be punished for his or her wrong action and shown the right path. That old woman is vile and cruel. I regard her as a criminal. Ayush who invited her to stay there. Ayush is vile and dishonest. He is cruel to Mohi who saved his life. If it was not for Mohi Pratap would have killed him.
truth usually wins in the end.

Old people are suppose to gain wisdon with age but the only thing the old lady has gained with age is to become a very cunning criminal.

Great post! On Indian shows I have watched, a few times I have come across horrible old women. More times than I care to mention! They honestly make you feel physically sick with their disgusting behavior! So pathetic to use your "Age" as a means of getting forceful respect from people. No one can speak against a nasty despicable old woman who only wants to mess with other people's life!
It's honestly pathetic to see how NON of the people in the house except Shubangi dares to open their mouth against this sorry female! Like what is their problem? The initial days not even Manohar was saying anything. I cant believe that her desire for revenge is such that she was willing to let Ayush loose his job to settle her score with Manohar and then Mohi. Sharad is a disgrace and such a loser to support this Mausi who is pure evil!

SO fed up of watching these nasty cliched characters that are a shame to the older generation! Ayush of course is a disgrace as well. Always treating Mohi badly when it is thanks to her he is alive!
