Maybe there is another way around,rather than pulling it off air,they can put it on another slot.

I sincerly hope and request those guys to reconsider there decission.

I personally think that serials like MRD with different concepts should be retained instead of rubbish that we get to see these days all abt kitchen politics, vamp backbiting etc.

Am late here ..........

But I felt so touched reading all your posts .........

Outpourings straight frm the heart ....

If there is at least one sensitive person at the helm of affairs in Colors ........ They would certainly be afftected ......

I am confused ...... who is to blame for the turn of events now ???

The Production House / Creatives who messed up a perfectly wonderful / fresh story line and rendered it aimless ?????

Maybe that was the first sign of doom .....

Do we blame the channel Colors for abruptly taking a splendid show off air ?

That too when they are still airing dumb / retrogade serials with negligible viwership ..........

They bombard us with promos of other serials every 10 mins and no promos for MRD ??? So who is to balme for the TRP falling ????

Most other serials in Colors are all filled with negativity .......

Can you imagine they actually promote one show showing the obituary of the heroine ???? How sick is that !!!!!!!

The female leads (mostly) are abused left, right & centre in all of these shows and the most dastardly social practices are glorified ...... And these shows are allowed to continue ????

The less said about the promo for the new show "ladoo" the better .....

What perverse / sadistic / vicious minds can show such a scene with so much sensationalism ???? Just thinking about it sends a shiver down my spine ....... What are the TV censors doing ??? Isn't it downright sick to show this in a family's living room ?????

How do these people sitting in their ivory towers know the viewers mind ???? I've never seen or heard of any survey anywhere near my city .......

So where do the get these stupid ratings which they so smugly declare from their air-conditioned cabins ?????

Coming to MRD ..........

It is the only soap on Colors today (barring Krishna .... which again is not a soap) which started off with a totally freash concept - The Freedom Struggle ........

The protogonists were strong and absolutely wedded to their beliefs ...

That we had Gavie and Prableen as the leads was an added bonus owing to their crackling on-screen chemistry .......

The rest of the cast were just as admirable in their roles .......

So .... what is the reason for pulling it off air ????? That too when the stroy was at an interesting juncture ......

All it needed was a shift in the time slot ... if it came to that ....

But axing it ????? I think that's sheer pompousness on the channel's part taking a unilateral decision like this ......

I'm totally shattered ....... how can they do this to the loyal veiwers of the show ????

Dont we have the right to demand a justification for this ??????

Friends ............

I'm totally dejected with this news ........

MRD brought us all together in such a special bond .......

People who've never met were united by the passion ignited by on special serial - MRD ......

All of you ........ old members and new .......... even the usually silent ones ........ have all put down your thots with so much conviction ....

Dare we still hope ..... someone out there will realise the foolishness of this decision and let this wonderful show continue ?????

I am one of the strongest advocates of the rule that serials should not go on for ever ......

I strongly feel every story has to have a natural logical progression from start to finish ...... without the unnecessary twists & turns to prolong the show ....... A story .... tautly / interestingly / imaginatively / & captivatingly told ........ treating the audience as a mature, intelligent people ........ who will not put up with any sub-standard fare .......

And when it finishes ...... it should leave to viewers with wonderful memories of a wonderful show ..........

The end has to come ...... but let it be natural ...... allow the story to run its course ...... Not like this, with a bitter taste in the mouth .......

the show is doing very well... the trps r increasing steadily.... cant dey change their decision now? a change in time slot would just be f9....how can dey cheat on us like this?

I have sent e-mails on the id's JO provided and have signed the petitions and the feedback forms.

But I am not at all optimistic about the show. If the Channel wanted to shift the show to a different time band, it would have taken the decision.

The fact that they are pulling it off air so brutally shows how little the show mattered to them anyway.

Obviously, its Goodbye Colors !! Who would like to watch a channel which shows an infant girl being drowned in a cauldron of milk, that too in the prime time slot???

The new wont have my blessings atleast. Even though I know its going to be a 'hit', since audience craves sensationalism, I am happy being part of the niche audience which protests against such 'commercially- motivated socially- relevant 'shows.

I am happy being part of the little audience that recognises and appreciates a good show when it sees one.

Watching MRD and no other show was a conscious decision. Its not that we were limited for choices.

Now I have this feeling that the Channel was not serious about MRD since long.. there indifference has been the root cause of all evil.

Disgusting and disgraceful.

I bow and thank all my firends who have acknowledged our work and time we apend here.

I is a dastardly act by the channel. and terrible one. If they consider 9:30 a prime time slot and MRD not competitive enough for it (Which I dont agree) them might as well shift it to some other time slot.

Even Imagine did this to us and they axed teh show inspite of so many requests and petitions.

Channels normally cite the financial reasons for that If thats the case then why not cut other shows. They have something where kids are doing comedy and crying by the end of it. They are showing the plight of a maids daughter and showing her turning into a maid herself. Only BV for them did the trick in teh begning but for how long. By the way the audience for that show is also divided Half of then watch it at normal time and the other half at 11:00 PM. So is it alsi justifying its slot. Fine let the other shows be. I dont want to talk about them I dont watch anyone of them. But then if they are trying to show something like Lado to compete with Bidai then I would like to say that they are highly mistaken. That show has its own very strong fan base and no one will leave it for anything new on any channel. I am sure that they are going to slip down in their GEC rating (and pray too)

I know so may of my friends who watch MRD and are ardent fan of that show. Imagine didnt listen to their audience and they are suffering now and so will colors.

It might sound funny to a lot of people but I believe that curses work and they have already taken too many and many more to come.

You know at first I didn't realise what was going on ...... The scene was shown so dramatically like it was a sacred ritual going on ....... Then it struck me ......... It was like someone punched me in the stomach ..... Female infanticide ?????? 🤢

And what channel would like to telecast this ??????

Dont they know the diff between a sensitive portrayal of a social issue and sensationalising it ?????

This is not a social documentary ...... it is a prime time TV show ...... aimed at a mixed age-group family audience ...........

And a promo is usually the highlight of the show ....... And this is "ladoo"'s highlight ?????

Who would want to see this in their living room ????? Not my family certainly !!!!!!

Isn't there anybody to check the content on TV ????? 😡

I cant even begin to express how I feel about this replacing MRD ..............
