He was feeling like a man at loss.
Why did he do it, how could he be so immature. If Kranti was upset on him atleast he could have stayed quite for that moment didn't he know that she was

touchy about her job she use to take a lot of pride in being a part of a very small group of independent women during those days.

"I also behave like an uneducated fool sometimes, I hope Kranti is fine right now, it is already 9 PM she normally somes back by 6:30, these days it is not

safe in the town crime has gone up"

All sorts of thoughts were going throuh Raj's head.

"Why did I have to shout at her for not serving porridge instead of hot Gobhi Pranthas which he wanted to have, as she was running late for work"

Kranti's sad face was not leaving hos eyes. Her teary eyes were glaring at him all the time he had gone around looking for her met all the friends where she

could have been. He had contacted all the possible places. The people at her office told him that she had left earlier than usual, this had worried him the

most.
Where could she have gone did she take the morning scuffle so seriously that she has decided to leave Raj. He did not want to think about her going anywhere

but the thought was not ready to leave his head. He didnt remember how many times he has shaken his head as of that would help to throw the thought out.

It was already post midnight he didnot know where else to go whom to talk. He started to walk back once he reached home he looked hopefully towards the

windows for any sign of light. His heart sank when he did not see any. He walked in with heavy steps he wah feeling lost. He switched on the light in his

room leaving the rest if the house in dark. He went to the washroom cameout wiping his face, cold water on his face had helped him sort his thoughts. He was

trying to think about any place he could have missed out on. He dropped his towel on the bed as usual.

"When will you learn there is a clothed line outside please put your towel there"

Raj looked up he saw kranti Sitting in the ktichen in front of the fire.

"Where were you" Raj shouted literally in tears.
"I left the office early to buy cauliflower"
Raj just came running and hugged her,

"Never ever go away like this I will die"
"Hey I never went anywhere, Infcat where were you I have been waiting for you for so long even the paranthas have gone cold"
Raj freed her from his grip, the tears had not left his eyes yet.
Kranti was shocked to see him in this situation.

"I had gone to buy gobhi Raj I couldnt make the oaranthas for you since we didnt have the vegetable at home why are you so upset"

"I got scrared Kranti I felt that you have become angry with me and have left me forever I went looking for you all over and dodnt find you anywhere. I did

not now what to do"

" So Mr. Lawyer did the thought ever crossed your mind that you could have come home and looked ro you had assumed that I will go away, by the way I sould

have"
"Dont you dare even think like that"
"Never Raj Never but then ensure that you dont fight with me over gobhi paranthas and net time if you want to have them then go to the market and buy them"

Raj laughed and took kranti in his embrace and she also smiled and gave in.

Today is the auspicios day of Makar Sakranti and Nirmal had decided that she will be away from all the tesions in life.
Life had taken a U-Turn after she got married to Sanjay. Though her parents had chosen the guy and she was not able to cope up with thinngs ever since.

Sanjay was an average looking and simple guy. Since he was a very well educated person he could have got any well paying job but he chose to be a teacher as

he believe that this was he can use his education in the best possible way by distrubuting it to the people around.
The money was less and the means were limited so there was some or the other issue always, which normally culminated into fights and arguments most of the

time, though they have been married just for three months.

Last evening was the festival of Lohri and nirmal expected it to be celebrated with full vigour as was the tradition among punjabi families. But there was no

one in Sanjays family apart form his Grandmom so Nirmal wanted to do celebrate the festival at her parents house which was not aceptable to Sanjay "He and

his silly principals" she thought and shrugged her shoulders.
She had to go to Sanjay's school to celebrate the festival to Makar Sakranti the next day. Though she didnt want to go still she had to as her father had

explained things to her and insisted that she must go.
Nirmal reached the school, she was taken aback when she saw the kids there. All of them of different age and color, all dressed in various colors. For a

moment she felt that rainbow had come down on the earth and the color of mud was giving those colors a perfect background. Half her irritation and anger just

vanished after seeing sich a beautiful scenary.
She started waling towards those kids suddenly one of them fell in front of her he couldnt see a boulder right in front of him.

Nirmal Ran to pick him up "You must be careful son whats the hurry" advised nirmal while helping him get up.
"Thank you didi but howmuch ever care I take I can't avoid these things as I can't see anything, I am blind" he walked off he was still as happy and

cheerful as he was before he fell down.

'Sanjay teaches in a blind school' For the first time Nirmal realised the exact job of her husband she had never given it a second thought to it.

Suddenly she saw sanjay standing in front of her surrounded with a lot of kids he was telling them how to fly a kite,

'how can he manage to teach a blind kid to fly a kite'

Nirmal kept walking looking around her not even a single face which she saw was without a smile. She couldnt stop a beautiful smile from lighting her face.

She had reached where sanjay was standing in the mean time his student had managed to get his kite up in the sky. Nirmal was pleasently surprised.

Sanjay turned to find a surprised Nirmal standing behind him.

"when did you come, and hey thanks a lot for coming I was hoping that ou will come but was not sure"
"Sanjay I did not know that you teach blind Kids"
"No Nirmal they are not blind it is just that they cant see whatever we can"
"Tell me something how did you manage to teach this kid to fly the kite"
"I did not do anything just told him what ever I could see and then asked him to make his own picture of a flying kite and try and here he is"
"Amazing"
"No Nirmal there is nothing amazing in it, it is knowing and appriciating what you have thats it"

Nirmal gave a thoughtful look to her husband. She was sitting in the kitchen in the evening remembering he precedings of the day. he kids those beautiful

colors, the fact that they were all blind, the sea of most genuine smiles, the look on sanjay's face when any of the child would achieve what they were doing

, his jumping with those little ones, it remimded her of a rabbit she smiled at her own thought and most importantly his words "knowing and appriciating what

ever you have"

She came into her room where sanjay was sitting and reading something she looked at him and to her own astonishment she felt that she was looking at one of

most handsome men on the earth who was looking smashing in his four leg size pajamas and vest which had some three holes. Nirmal had decoded to count her

blessings and also that she will help Sanjay with his job. She will also help these kids realise what ever they have in them.

That was the night she had the most peaceful sleep since she got married.

OK Ranjna, my list of Qns.

1) What did you do this weekend?

I was with my old friends from college. Felt like a college student after 10 years (oops nearly gave away my age) we went around bradrs had lunch at a svuave restaurant then came switched colors went around on foot. forgot about our credit cards fished for tenners and coins through out bags, haggled witl the pani puri guy, did some useless but fun roadside shopping. Then took an auto to get back home. Gosh I had to go back to take my car back. Imagine. But It was fun.

2) Which book are you reading right now?

None right now I have just finished reading five point some one by Chetan Bhagat

3) Which is your favorite recipe when it comes to cooking? ( Applicable in both scenarios, whether you like cooking or not) 😉

I love cooking and my all time favorite recipe is Biryani of any kind as I am big fan of the dish.

4) When does your kid get on your nerves? How do you cope with him when that happens?

When he decides to open my hair nad starts pulling them out ( I am already half bald thaks to him) The I tell him but ofcourse he does not listen then I scold him and dont talk to him for a while. Then he tries to manao me and I relent. Then the whole cycle repeats (Men learn this trick of fooling women right from us mommys)

5) Ditto for hubby.. 😉

I will keep typing for the whole night I am sure you dont want me to do that LOL 😆

No actually the situation is not so bad but his habit of leaving his wet towel on the bed after a bath is what irritates me the most. And how do I cope with it well I have given up and just pick up the towel and put it on clothes line. Otherwise I have tried everything from shouting to leaving ti on his side of the pillow cos men put a permanent plug in their ears after marriage and when he found that his pillow is wet he quitely too mine and slept.

6) Whats the best thing you like abt Mumbai? And Delhi? ( I am sure its not Delhi Autos.. Mumbai surely scores there..😉)

The sea is what I like about MUmbai. I love going to a sea shore and have a hot cuppa coffee there sometimes at night. Delhi is home hence I am biased about that city.

7) Did you watch X-Files ever? Your take on Mulder and Scully..

Yes I use to watch it regularly I use to like both of them. To me they were mysterious yet sproachable. Sounds like an oxymoron isnt it.

8) Prior to MRD, your favorite show on Televsion..Why?

I use to watch Dharam Veer use to like the way they had stressed on friendship .

9) Something you have done in the last five years which was totally Un-You..

I have picked up my hubbys towel everyday In my hostel my rommie use to be scared to leave the towel on bed I hate it simply but *sigh*

1. Which life was better ...........ur school life or college life ....School definitely

2. Ur memorable moment during ur school time and college times...During school when one guy kept a rats tail in my dissection box (how sick was that) I came back to the class after the practical and opened the box for something simply dropped it in front of the teacher shouting was booted out og the class for the first and last time in my school tenure.

I was in catering college I escaped cutting a fish for all my class practilcals and to my horror I had to do it in my final food production exam. Couldnt get over it for a long time.

3. Most intresting subject .........about which u can talk for hours ..obviously ur 2 lines on tht subject too

Food Production - It was all about cooking and dishing out good food and being a foodie use to love it anyday.

4. Ur fav movie of 2008...

Actually none as couldnt see anything accept Lucky oye thanks to my baby hence cant compare.

5.wat do u like more.....mountains or beaches

6. how many hours in a day u spend on ur computer

Havent counted as I work from home so they are quite a few.
