"Main paanch dus minute mein aata hu" Raj replies. Kranti wants to ask how he is now. But she cudnt ask. Raj get up n goes out of the room. He goes to kitchen. Tulsi bua n Shubhankar r having some conversation there. Shunhankar says, "Mujhe maut se dar nahi lagta. Aaj raat ko mujhe jaanaa hi padega. Abhi savere nikalna mumkin nahi. Pure sheher mein curfew hai. Aap is tarah mere liye royaa mat karo. Mujhe har baar haskar vidaa karna aur agar meri maut ki khabar aaye '." She interrupts n says "Ye subah subah kaisi ashubh baat kar raha hai". Shubhankar says " desh par mar meetne se zyada shubh aur kya ho sakta hai". Raj overhears everything. He is confirmed now that Shubhankar is Krantikari. He hates KKs so decide to leave this house soon as possible. Raj knocks the door n enter kitchen

Raj: Ji theek hu
Tulsi bua: Achha to naha lo phir mein khaana laga deti hu
Raj : Main aata hoon
Raj determines that he'll leave this house as soon as possible. He goes to the room allotted to them.
Raj: Mein is ghar mein nahi reh sakta
Kranti: Kuch kaha kya Tulsi bua ya Shunhankar ne?
Raj: toh tum en logo ki achhi tarah se jaanti ho?
Kranti: Ha
Raj: Aur isiliye kal unhone hame rehne ko diya
Kranti: Nahi
Raj: kya matlab? Tum nahi jaanti Sohan Singh ki behen ko? Tum nahi jaati Sohan Singh ke bhaanje ko? Tum nahi jaanti ke ye log Krantikari hai??
Kranti: Ha. Achhi tarah se jaanti hu. Par wo log mujhe nahi pehchaan paaye hai. Tulsi bua aur Shubhankar Lahore kayi saal baad aaye hai. Aur shaaayad meri shakal bhul bhi gaye hai
Raj: Yahi tumhaare liye achha hai. Mein en aatankwaadiyo ke ghar ek pal bhi nahi rahunga.
Kranti: Jo bhi ho kal enhi logo ne hame panah di thi. Kam se kam uska ehsaan to jatao
Raj: Maana ki hum par ehsaan kiya hai. Par main apne usulo ko nahi chod sakta. Aaj cerfew hai. Cerfew khatam hote hi mujhe aashiyaane ki talaash shuru karni padegi.
Kranti doesn't argue with Raj because she too doesn't want to stay here. She is worried how she'll explain to them why she married Barrister Rajveer. She is fearing that Shubhankar may cause harm to Rajveer when he'll know his truth. Both of them do not want to stay here for their own different reasons

Shubhankar: Rajveer ji aaiye khaanaa khaane baithte hai
Raj: Sirf Raj kehkar bulaa sakte ho.
Shubhankar: Raj. Raj hum log toh zameen par baith kar khaate hai. Aap to kisi ameer gharaane ke lagte ho. Zameen pe baith kar kha sakenge na.. koi taqleef toh nahi hogi?
For Raj it is not easy to sit on floor for breakfast. But he ensures Shubhankar that that he is feeling no discomfort. Kranti goes to Tulsi bua n says she'll help her in serving the food. When kranti was serving the food Shubhankar sees Kranti's face. Kranti's face becomes pale to see his reaction. She is fearing that Shubhnkar has recognized her. He is thinking that he has seen her somewhere. He has acquaintance with her but cannot recollect. Shubhankar says nothing to her.
Shubhankar: Maa ne kaha ki aapne ghar choda hai. Kyun?
Raj feels embarrassed. He does not want to say anything abt his elder bro's n SIL's conspiracy n family problems to them. He smartly tells lie. After all a lawyer is a liar. He says that he was ousted from his home because he married against the family wishes. Kranti gets shocked to hear this statement. Shubhankar smiles
Raj: Yaha kahi ek kiraaye ka ghar mil sakta hai
Tulsi Bua: Kiraaye ka ghar kyun? Tum dono hamaare ghar reh sakte ho.
Raj is in trouble now how to deny them. He says that he is lawyer n wants house near the court. Then they say that he cannot go out for searching a rented house because of the curfew which has been declared for indefinite period.
Though they r very kind n noble people, Raj is feeling very uncomfortable there. He is waiting for the curfew to get over. That night he sees Shubhnakar going outside. Kranti too sees him going outside. Raj then sees Kranti praying to God. He is confused for whose welfare she is praying. She is praying for Shubhankar's safety. Shubhankar doesn't returns that night. Tulsi bua is worried abt her so n so is Kranti. Raj is confused to see Kranti's worry. He form a hypothesis that Kranti is worried abt Shubhankar n she knows everthing abt Shubhankar's mission as both them r KK. He is angry to see this. He is feeling jealous.
Someone knocks door at the mid night. Tulsi bua goes to open the door. Raj n Kranti too come out of their room. A KK with veiled face come in says, " Gazab hoga Chaachi! Shubhankar giraftaar ho gaya"
