Hi frndz,

dis is sevy here.

Hav been thinking why do dey call it a period drama. I don't see anything abt 1942 here.

Did couple consummate marriage under d influence of liquor back den dat 2 in a tabela in d middle of nowhere with very little privacy?

Now d whole issue is treated as marital rape.😲😡

Did women dress like K in 1942?

Also why such a fuss over sindoor and mangalsutra like Ekta herioines. These KK women were d original firebrand ladies. Dey feared nothing, fought against not just foreign rule but also wretched social customs and practices which made India such a land of misery. Hav a good no of dem in my family. So know dey were firebrand ladies who would never behave like K at d moment.

Also dese women were idealistic and strong unlikely 2 enter a marriage of revenge, behave like a ninny or a shrew or get drunk and consummate a marriage without any feelings.

The KKs definitely were jokers but fighters(seen a few of dem) and no dey did not set the nation free thru dustbins.

And I dont think people discussed their sex life with d family back den( with anybody for dat matter).

D list is long.

D creatives should see d films:Rang De Basnti, Shahid, 1942 A Love Story, Pinjar, Gaddar, Train 2 Pakistan, 1947 Earth, Gandhi, Hey Ram........

Sevy when this show started they followed the complete Quit-India Storyline..it was a complete freedom struggly storyline and even the costumes of Kranti was perfect👍🏼...

But they never got the trps with that kind of storyline

Then they changed the storyline and introduced RK-Marriage followed by many silly twist and turns which does not give us the feel that we r watching a story in 1942 era😆

But here they managed to get high trps and the result is MRD is in top 20 trp today😲😆

So the end result is Indian Audience likes watching cleeshade sagas and will not take anything logical coming its way and so the creatives too compromise their creativity to get the trps😃

A Film market is completely different from Television Market..today if a film like Rang De Basanti or Pinjar is made into a serial,I bet it will become a flop because mostly these Housewives and Sasumas watch daily soaps and they won't take this story of freedom at all..

i agree wit jyoti here ..................its a daily soap and its all the game of trp's ...........creativiy and originality does not exist..........if one track does not get trps the yhave to change it ....and thts wat they hav done!!

well i think there is no use racking ur brains behind them .......

u juss hav to make sense out of nonsense sumtimes if u still wnat to remain loyal to the show u r watching

Romance in Pre-Ind backdrop is very sensitive issue and has to be handled well and needs alot of reserach. But i feel soaps on Independence are bit tough and dnt guarantee to hold audience long so maybe they should have choosen some 70 or 80's village background with feudalism at its peak. Kranti a educated village gal from small family nd he belonging to some bug landlord family and follown drama more or less same. As now they seem comprimisn on Indep part of the soap nd concen on Raj-Kranti marriage trails nd tribulations more
