For all those who bore the brunt ......

With folded hands I pray

For those caught in bullets stray

For those who were rudely taken aback

In this murderous heinous attack.

Let peace and calm soon return

And the flame of brotherhood forever burn

Lets overcome despair and sorrow

And hope the sun shines bright again tomorrow.

Prayers aside, what we need right now is for India to buck up and annihiliate,

Firstly the terrorists who are holed out in the hotels, at the time I write this,

and secondly the countering of Pakistan-inspired terrorism has to be pursued single-mindedly and not relegated and clubbed with the 'war on terrorism' in general.

The time for Diplomatic alliances and conciliatory efforts is over. AFTER TODAY.

I am amazed at the amount of preparation these guys have put in this whole operation. To carry out a siege, at this level, with such amazing motivation and advanced level of military training, is impeccable.

If we have even half the level of determination which these guys have (imagine 7 terrorists holding their ground against the Indian Army and NSG since 26 hours now) we would be able to eradicate terrorism much earlier. And by its roots !!

I too join you all in prayers. I stay in mumbai and the tension is very high here. The offices were all closed the life litereally has come to a stand still here.

A simple chore like getting gricerioes for home left me drained out cos of tension.

The empty roads made the chill run down my spine literally. Though the area I stay in did not have any trouble but then the very thought that some one could just walk around with an Ak-47 in his hands and open fire in any closed space was enough for me to be very worried while doing a simple chore which I have been doing so such a long time now without vincing an eye.

The horn of any taxi entering the premises is keeping us up.

You might feel what a sissy I am but I am not ashamed to say that it is scary.

I really want to pay my respect and condolances to the brave men who have kaid their lives in this operation. And also my respect for the police, army and the security forces has increased many folds.

I would request you all to join me to pray for tese bravehearts and thier family.

Last but not the least these reporters who have been braving so much danger to keep us updated. People might say they it is money for them I would not agree life is more important than money. They are also doing a huge social duty by doing such a tremendous job.

Kudos to them.

I am sorry if I have deviated form the topic but couldnt help stating thoughts going on in my head. It is cathartic.

Actually I am blank right now no thought of any future if even passign by my mind right now. It is a numbing situation.

Terror attacks have been taking place at Ahmdabad, Bangalore and Delhi in the last 3 months. Any boosting for the Police forces? NO. The politicians don't care about the country, so our country is always going to be under attack. Firstly there it must be understood that the brave men who died, have left behind families which we have to look after. These men though dead also have rights. Just as much as the living ones. So how come not a single of the culprits though arrested (in earlier instances) is never given punishment? The second is that we can be bought very easily and cheaply. No wonder the terrorist always succeeds.

I saw the post last night, wanted to reply... but was so disturbed and frustrated and angered that I had nothing to add, other than spew venom.

Nothing is going to change until and unless we demand more and not have an attitude of chalta hai. We are equally responsible for what is happening..., Damn the Mumbai spirit... I do not want then to have that spirit anymore, I want them to take up the battle to the government...,

I better stop, have more harsher words to add.

All military-commando style training... I won't be surprised if Pakistan army is involved like Kargil.
