I understand your dilemma Purvi.
In any election in the world.......you choose for lesser evil Purvi!
And always remember Samay Ka takaaza hota hai.....which means you do thinks according to what times demands......
I read in this thread some place someone mentioned that we need hardliners......
Think of India right now.......I think she needs someone who can put a hand on her heart and soul and say...I shall protect you....come what may....come who may....I willl not let them scar you!
Hardliner it is....then so be it!!!

Thats wonderfully put Nupur ..........
We haven't much choice while voting ............. it sometimes narrows down to the "lesser evil" choice ...........
I saw a meeting of the some industry heads with the press .......... most of them seem to be prepared to take active part in any anti-terror initiative taken by the Govt. All they are seeking is accountability and a proper plan to be put in place ........

Nupur that is exactly what the whole of India is feeling at the moment. I read in one of another forums, commandos killed the terrorists who came by boats but what about the ones that came by votes.

thanks nupur. I have to vote a lesser evil. Right now we need a strong leader who turn words into action
there r abundant leaders in India who r saying ..I shall protect you....come what may....come who may....I willl not let them scar you! But in reality they r doing nothing.

I dont want hardliner but at least he shud be strong ... shud be a leader material n honest. safety n security is the biggest issue in India ritht now. How can we develop in such environment of terror??? What ever we'll make our enimies will destoy it in terror attacks. We easily forget blasts and our leader too raise all good for nothing issues like language, caste etc. We too get swayed away by them. No leaders of Maharastra raised the issue of security instead marathi non -marathi issue was raised. And when we were fighting amongst ourselves our enimies were planning to ruin us. Those leaders r real cause coz they made us divided n weak and if we trust separationist we r making bigger mistake. I'll vote that party which promise some concrete n effective measure agianst terrorism. Hope more importance will be given to the welfare n security of public than allies of coaliation.

I think security of the state should be privatised. The politicians are a bunch of sissies and the current Maharashtra govt ( Congress-NCP) is as it is a wimp.
In all states, security should be privatised, and they should report to one central Federal Agency.

In Bandhs strikes which r normally organised by pol parties so much public money is destroyed. Such parties shud be heavily fined so that they can be deterred from doing so. This will save public money which can be spend on security.

So much money is spend on luxury of politicians. cant they minimise it???
Nation's money shud be well managed so that more cud be spent on safety n security n more police n armymen cud be recruited

That's exacty I feel to.
I think as ordinary citizens of India....we are ready to wake up-shake up and willing to own up......
And that by itself is big change....
BUT what we also need is a goverment strong enough to channel the conuntry in the right direction.
Manmohan Singh is an academician.....not a statesman!
And lets not even go to Sonia and her Politics!
We need someone who is willing to be leader......and like you said DI accountable for what happens to this great nation of ours!
