Dawn, I do agree about Sohan Tau jee's case, if not him, someone else would have taken that up--and I mentioned that in my comments at that time also. I blame him for framing of Mama jee, he was both ruthless and manipulative, no one else would have done that. Only R knew about Kranti and her links with Sohan Tau jee and krantikaris.

you are right Dawn kranti's ist and last focus is Raj.....from the first day when kranti saw him in that bar till now kranti's focus has always been Rajbir...even when sanjay use to meet nirmal in disguise kranti use to blame Rajbir...even after marriage with that budda she kept praying of that suitable time to come when she can catch hold of Rajbir.....

Jyoti you may have been right that Rajbir had to win the case of sohan singh due to the takla's pressure but he always kept kranti in mind...thats why after the highway blast when Raj was coming back home afer having a meeting with takla he jumped from his car to meet kranti who on the other hand was on her way with oter krantikaris....😍not only that he even lied to his dad saying that he has to meet a client for his case..but actually he was going to have a conversation with kranti..... that was not required at that time..afterall on the next day newspaper it was sure to be out that Rajbir is going to handle Sohan Singh's case...this shows that he always kept Kranti in his mind...not only that when he was allowed to have a conversation with Sohan singh in jail there also he took the name of Kranti...😉.............now that was not a need out there??????

even when he tried to convince mamaji in jail at that moment also he named kranti saying that if he becomes a government witness he will forgive Kranti......now you say me was it not too personal??????

Good u brought it up at this time.. the refresher is again needed.. 😉

He dint single her out Skep.. she was a thorn in his backside.. he had a view on bigger things..it was a coincidence that she was involved in all those matters..

He was asked to participate in the press case.. Coincidence that it was her father's.

He was asked to prosecute Tauji.. Coincidence that Tauji was almost family to her.

He had to have a probable witness against Tauji.. mamaji was vulnerable, so he was targeted. Yet again, he is her mamaji..

and the list goes on..

The only time Raj has been really really mean, was the time he brought the oldie husband to Nirmal's house to blow the whistle on Kranti's disappearance.. that was highly self centred and mean of him.. and if he pays till the end.. it wud be for this.. even for helping to hang Tauji.. but that was not out of personal enmity for Kranti..

Regarding Dawn's topic, I have always maintained, and will continue to .. that Kranti takes far more interest in Raj than he did in her ( I m not counting Raj;s interest post marriage) .. she always made her displeasure of his British preference apparent to him.. why?? Sanjay also had a British preference, but she always targeted only Raj personally.. why??

Its always that, she is looking for issues to fight him out.. I'll give u an example.. when she walked in the pub, both Raj and Sanjay were drinking.. but she dint target Sanjay, she targeted Raj, why?? She addressed him...not Sanjay.

Nice pointers.. its not that Raj hasnt been aware of Kranti, he always has been, but as JO says, he put that awareness on back burner to pursue matters that were more important to him..

All the instances you have mentioned, yes Raj has seeked Kranti out, but its not because of the matter at hand..it was because of the game of oneupmanship which had started between the two.

The cases and his awareness of Kranti are two different compartments.. and he, of all ppl made sure that the two dint overlap. Otherwise he wudnt have been so ruthless in the execution of his plans.. he nipped his feelings in the bud only to go ahead with the cases.

Anshu thats what even I m saying...Raj thinks to punish these KKs who r terrorists according to him,if he had to choose the wrong path he will do so....its like to kill a wrong person,u will hv to take the wrong route too😉..Like Bhavna said Raj is just a practical guy for whom these emotions don't count much and therefore to get Sohan Singh behind bars he thought that he needs a Sarkari gawah by hook or by crook and so he had to frame Mamaji...I agree it was wrong but for Raj thats the correct way to punish a culprit😊...

Also I agree with Bhavna,in a way its good that Raj is very practical and manipulative when it comes to winning cases😉..because once he transforms himself and starts fighting cases in favour of the KKs and his nation that time his same manipulative nature will only come as the biggest advantage for the KKs😃

@Chand:I always maintained that Raj had Kranti in his mind initially😳 but somewhere his father's RB-Ship took the first priority in his life later..and yup I noticed that jail scene😉...Raj first told Mamaji "If u don't become a Sarkari Gawah then along with you your Bhanji Kranti will also go behind bars"..and then in the end Raj said "Ok fine I will not trap Kranti in all this,u better become a gawah now"😉😆...So his main agenda was to keep Kranti away from all that Legal issue😳..the reason why even when he went to Kranti's house,he framed Mamaji and not Kranti when he could hv easily framed Kranti knowing that she is the one who was present there during the shootout😉...And I could never forget that today Kranti is alive because of Raj's one shout during ther shootout "Jhuk jaoo Kranti"😳😳...just check out that scene when Raj asks Kranti to bend down and she actually listens to him and bends down and then the bullet is fired by the british officer standing over there;If Kranti had not bent down then she would hv been dead today...Soo...Raj is indeed a saviour indirectly for Kranti😃

@Skepti:Raj believes Takla Blindly because from childhood only he has seen his father doing the same thing😆;Why Kranti is a Krantikari today ??..because from childhood only she has been taught "Inquilab zindabad" by her Sohan tauji ;Similary Raj was taught to b always loyal with the british government and today he is just following suit to his father's orders😃..Again Raj is not giving any death sentence to anybody;He is just fighting the case in favour of the british government and hoping to win it;Now for a murder case the punishment is death sentence only so how come Raj is responsible of finishing off anybody ??😕;Also during Sohan tauji's case Raj was fighting only to send him to Kaalapani but the Judge gave him death sentence right😡...so again Raj is not responsible there to finish off Sohan Tauji😊...Like Anti-Raj party keeps saying,if not Raj then some other lawyer would hv won the case because that Takla must b hving at least 100 Rajs under his thumb😆

@Ena:I really don't consider Raj mean when he handed over Kranti to the buddha because he only knew the half truth;It wouild hv been really interesting to see Raj's action had he known about that Takla's younger son trying to rape Kranti fiasco;Even after knowing the truth if Raj would hv done the same thing,then I would hv probably termed him Mean too...Other than that I will hv to agree with all the valid points u made👏😳
