Kranti in the kitchen !

Friends ................ " Kranti in the kitchen", raised a lot of dust here, some for and some against ..........

K is shunned but BBR is vexed, ……

Good, but now she'll be overworked ……..

What with the festival ahead…….

Who else ? but she, would be burdened …….

She hatches a plan ……

With her two henchmen …..

Slipped and fell, she pretended ……..

And Kranti is as guilty called ……….

With Kranti, Chaiji is annoyed …..

Though Kranti prepares her medicinal oil………

And says, "I'm can manage the toil"….

Please stay away, she ordered ………

In the next couple of days ……..

Chaiji is down and out …..

BBR watching the fun ……

And Kranti desperate to help ………

One early morning ……

Chaiji is unable to rise ……..

Kranti is unhesitant ……

And takes to the kitchen ………..

Pooja done & aarti for all …

In time the table is laid …..

A hearty breakfast is served …….

The family praising BBR for the fare ……..

Jagat butts in and says ………..

Today's chef is the younger DIL ….

Everyone's face is a picture ….

A lot of hemming & hawing ……….

Finally Buaji compliments Kranti …….

And Chaiji too smiles her blessing ……

Papa bear is not too pleased …….

And hubby dear is at a loss for words ………

The meal is over and the table cleared ……

Kranti's in the kitchen……..

Seeing to the chores undone ……….

Sensing something she spins around ……….

And crashes into Raj behind her ……..

Ouch ! he goes, as she steps on his toe …….

She suppresses a grin and raises an eyebrow….

He clears his throat and rubs his nose ……

He's nervous, she can see …….

Let him stew, a little voice urges ….

She crosses her hands ….

And gives him the look ………

That says, don't dither……..

Say your piece and out you go ……..

I've plenty to do …….

So out with it ……….

Thanks for helping, he says …

His face is flushed and his ears are red ……

She tosses her head …….

And snorts at him ……….

It's nothing to do with you …..

I did it for a lovable MIL …….

So keep you thanks …..

And stay out of my hair.. ….

She turns on her heel and she leaves …….

A spring in her step …..

A song on her lips ….

Having put that ogre in his place……..

Raj is left staring …….

At the vision in red ………..

As she sashays away ……
