1 odd thing i noticed in an episode and plz tell me if i have missed anything! In the first date of sajan after the morena track in that classroom, gunjan was comparing her status with samrat. sammy is rich i get that. But gunjan had never eaten/seen candyfloss and that she was from a very poor background- that i didnt get. the morena house looked grand by standards of a village home or maybe town. they looked conservative middle class rather than absolutely poor people with no means to educate any daugfhter or send her to mumbai for further studies. dont u feel that statement abt not having candy floss was odd? and candyfloss? so available even in towns... and when i google morena, i found it poorer that what was shown. gunur were not porr but just comfortable financially!

Good question.

Candyfloss is actually a very urban thing, which is hardly found in small towns like Morena. And no, GuNur's family were not poor yet they weren't as affluent as Dia's or Samrat's family.

Here, Disneyland rides, candyfloss etc. have been used to bring a contrast between Samrat's and Gunjan's family background while comparing them with their current emotional struggles, with Gunjan finding herself not compatible with Samrat's status and Samrat trying to hide the broken family wala thing.

Gunjan didn't have the luxury of even eating Candyfloss, a fancy sweet of which she hadn't heard the name of, let alone visit Disneyland.
