One of the members had requested me to continue my article (https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/miley-jab-hum-tum/2882864/miley-jab-hum-tum-in-retrospect-completed) on MJHT, and I have decided to do my tracks and couples analysis in a new thread.
The show started with Excel college. After much visuals, we saw Annie and Jacko. The classic MJHT title song continued in the whistling tunes. Annie and Jacko talked about Dia Bhushan's anger and famous slap, and we saw Dia (Navina Bole) coming out of her red car. Her typical doll expressions, full of sarcasm and pride, Dia walked into the college, surrounded by admirers and flanked by Annie and Jacko.
The basketball scene. We saw a glimpse of a chubby Benji (Abhishek Sharma), when a couple of girls asked him who on earth was Samrat. We then saw Uday Bhushan (Jaskaran Singh) who showed his simpleton mind, counting the number of letters of his name. Then we saw Samrat Shergill (Mohit Sehgal) in form of shadows. When the match started, we saw him showcasing his skills at the game, his cool temper when he was fouled and his winning streak.
That's the Bhushan siblings, Benji, Annie-Jacko and Samrat for us.
After the match, by probing and teasing, Samrat finds out from Dia-Uday that their cousins from Morena were to join Excel. Samrat dreamt of a girl of his desires. We then saw a shift. First we saw Gunjan Bhushan (Sanaya Irani). She seemed to be quite upset at the prospect of leaving her Morena college. We then saw an admirer of her sister giving her a rose. She looked around and saw her sister surrounded by admirers. She was Nupur Bhushan (Rati Pandey). The sisters rode a rickshaw and Nupur kept on gushing about her ideal man. We saw the introduction of Mayank Sharma (Arjun Bijlani).
That's the Bhushan sisters and Mayank for us.
The first two episodes just showed us all the characters. We then saw a healthy rivalry between two most popular Excelians- Samrat and Mayank. We also saw a kind of animosity towards the Morena sisters. Thus the show started. Enough of characterisation, lets move on to the tracks of the show.
