hey guys sorry for delay, but last few weeks were simply terrible, but now i am back , my exams over,,,, so here's the next update.. from now on the story will be only in past and what happened in last two days would be reavealed, hope it doesnt get much confusing!!!

Samrat read the sms for the 7^th time in a row to make sure his eyes weren't suddenly showing him things ..

Samrat,

I am sorry for shouting at u . I know u care for nupur a lot. Dunno what happened to me back there, may be it was the nerves.

did she just texted a sorry to him?? Did he just recived th first sms from his love when he was scolding his best friend like a deranged idiot for her foolishness??? Was it even fair!!!!

The first text message between him and gunjan was a sorry??

This so so so could not be right !! But then he needed to reply to this message !!And It should be witty and good!! But how will he say "its okay" to a sorry and sound witty simultaneously?? Not an easy feat to achieve ..

Anyway he could try atleast!!! He had full afternoon now , all thanks to his decision to bunk the rest of the day at college because of his stupid best friend here !!!

N(clicking her fingers for fifth time in front of samrat)- hello earth to the great samrat dude!!! Are u even on this planet?? Listen pls give some response or I'll have to call the paramedics to facilitate ur return back to this planet!!

Nupur incredulously watched samrat for few more minutes waiting for somekind of response from him except blinking ,looking at his mobile screen, but when he didn't move even a muscle nupur sighed and took the mobile from his hand

Samrat(glaring at nupur )- hey hey hey hey that's mine!!

Nupur- really?? U r back ?? lemme see wth is it in this cell that took u too the otherworld for so much time!!

Samrat- listen nupur don't!! give that to me back

Nupur gasped

N= a message from gunjan ?? u looser why didn't u tell me that u have been chatting with her?? N all this time I used to thing that u two brutes r so shy that u hardly look at each other..

nupur opened the message and read it aloud.

s- this is her first text message to me !! before this I didn't even have any idea that she had my number!!!

n- oh say thanks to me for that !! I feeded ur number in her cell , thinking she might accidently call u someday !! imagine I was so desperate in the past to make u two talk !!!! anyhow I saved ur number in her cell to see her response.. she didn't give any so I thought she never came to know that she had ur number.. but now I know that she knowed and that she knows that I knows that she knows!!!

S(looking confused)- that didn't even make any sense!!!

N= u don't need to find any sense in it , just reply to her and call her here!! Say nupur's condition is very bad and u r stuck in an oh-so-tensed-and-cant-take-it-all-at-once situation!!

S= did ur mother dropped u a lot when u were a kid??

Gunjan felt annoyed. What was it with samrat ?? it had been almost 15 minutes since she had texted him!! Why the hell wasn't he replying ?? was he so angry at her? Or is he thinking how the hell did she get his number?? Or he just didn't want to reply?? Was she making a big fool of herself right now?? Did he even cared enough about her to be worried because she was sort off angry with him??

Lost in thoughts gunjan hardly noticed where she was going. So obviously it didn't came as a surprise when she banged herself in mayank' again..

M= wohaa.. r u fine girl??

G= oh yaa yaa I am sorry I was lost.. no I mean I was thinking sth .. I need to go .. bye n sorry..

Mayank picked the last of gunjan's fallen books and handed them back to her.

G= thanks..

M= gunjan..

Gunjan turned. This boy knew her name??? did she know him?? And why did he fight with professor ?? because of her??

For the first time that morning ,did gunjan saw the boy fidgeting for words. Gunjan felt a strange urge to comfort the boy . why.. why did she felt as if him.. mayank was a part of her family..

She gasped.. she recognised him, or at least now she knew why she was being so concerned about this boy..

It was because his features strangely resembled her brother.. her long dead brother.. she had been five years in age when her brother and father died in a road accident, she didn't have much memories of the time she had spend with two of them and yet there was one thing about her brother's features that she never quiet forgot, it was his eyes. His deep unfathomable grey eyes, who always said more then his lips..

Those eyes belonged to this boy.. was there' could there be any connection between the two???

M=gunjan i.. I am.. I don't know if u still remember me.. I am ur i..

G= mayank.. bhai..

Saying so she inched forward and hugged mayank tightly, may be she was completely going bonkers, hugging a stranger in the corridor in front of everyone, but that moment it felt she had lost control of her body..

If he.. if he really somehow was her dead brother'

May be mayank was taken completely by surprise, coz it took him five minutes to finally wound his arms around her sister..

He was stunned that she recoganised him, but now he could no longer hold up the flood of emotions that welled up inside him.. he knew his eyes were wet..

When they finally broke their embrace and looked at each other, they didn't say anything, may be no words were required, and then..

Gunjan's phone rung..

G= hello?

S= umm hi gunjan I am sam..

S= gunjan u thre?

G= ya ..ya I ..i am sorry.. ru fine? No is nupur fine?.no I am sorry abt what I said..

S= gunjan its me who should say sorry. I didnt know benji was going to do that, but I should have been more carefull , I am sorry.

Nupur snatched phone looking exasperated.

N= r u too even human or what??

N= hell gunjan , I am fine and I am in my room in my house and samrat is eating my head off ,trying to make me rest even though I feel fit as a horse. But he wont listen ,, can u please come and save me from this cute ;looking monster??

Gunjan looked stumped totally' benji was right , nupur indeed was an express train .

G= ya I ya I will cum, do u mind if my brother comes off to drop me??

N= ofcourse why will I mind?.. wait u have a brother too?

G= even I didn't know that until few seconds ago ..

Saying so gunjan switched of the phone , if she hadn't she would have heard nupur gasp ,hearing her brother's name'
