I dont kno y but mostly people here fail to understand Gunjan.. But I dnt blame them because SaJan are extremely COMPLEX characters who have so much depth, passion and intensity in them.. And bec the majority of the audience are of 13-20 age grup so they ar driven by emotions.. 😳 It happens to me also.. Yes, as yasri explained, it is not about whose love is superior and who deserves whome.. No frndz, it is not.. It is all the game of REALIZATIONS.. The one who realises always take a correct decision and follows a rite path.. But the one, who is STILL living in denial, who thnks that I CAN MANAGE MY LIFE ON MY OWN, who 'THINKS' that she can live without LOVE.. How can you expect her to justify her actions? She herself is in a dilemma of rite n wrong so how can she be AWARE that her actions are hurting him? She is in her WORST state of mind.. She has not yet realized the depth of her love and that is y she is switchng bw DENIAL and ACCEPTANCE.. She needs to be treated with calmness, patience and understanding whch is exactly the same what Samrat is doing.. He is now giving her TIME to ponder over the matter and decide what she wants.. To make her REALISE the depth of her love HERSELF.. And the recent Hug, conveys the same.. The way he consoled her thru reciprocating the hug, was just the same as a FRIEND wud do.. Not as a lover.. And the thng she needs the most is FRIENDSHIP.. And he is doing exactly the same.

n samrat also
gunjan has lost her sister whom she loved even more than herself
so its not that easy
her character is complicated
n its just the situation which made her like this
but she still loves samrat n he will always be a part of her life
whatever gunji is doing right now may make u all angry as she is hurting sam
but also think from her POV
n right now she is dis agreeing with mayank that nupur's still alive as she is scared to face the pain which she got when nups died
think also of the pain that she is going through
those 3 years...the two persons whom she loved the most in the world nupur and samrat
were not with her...gunjan's character is a bit hard to understand

By Realizing the depth of her love does NOT mean that she loves hm less.. No its nt that.. They both love each other equally and beyond its boudaries.. But the thing is, Gunjan thnks that she can move on without love.. And this happens when u r unaware that how deeply ACTUALLY u r in love with that person that it is gettn difficult for u to move on without the love of ur beloved.. That is y she keeps hugging bec she cannot resist love and moves away from him to prove that she can live without love and can manage it.. Basically switchng bw Denial and Acceptance..

1. If she believes this to be true and moves with the gang to find Nupur and if at all they get to know that it ws an illusion they were running behind it would hurt each of them more. They had some how reovered from this loss in lst 3 yrs and now again it would take another 3 yrs for them to get over this. So in a way she's escaing herself and protecting the others from this pain.

2. If she goes on with the believe that Nupur is alive and if she finds Nupur then again she would be Guilty of leaving her sister alone for 3 yrs. Guilty of punishing Samrat of blaming Samrat for 3 yrs.

So if we see both the situations just put her into more troubles and more pain.
