Hey Sabah,Hey Butterfly
At many a times i guess at everytime, when we read, we perceive and make an opinion about certain things, its possible that there is a demarcation between the literal and actual world which I am not able to see, But what we feel remains the same for both as feelings are real. Thats why one gets the most upset when those feelings are put in jeopardy.👏Well said, as with irony, pedantic and semanitc, it is the intention of our words and actions that infuse our souls and results. When say hurtful things and ask why are you hurt? Your intentions found their goal, so why do you ask? It is amazing but even through the isolation and distance of the internet, we still can cause much love, pain and happiness. The words the means, our intentions the source of our results!
Life teaches us and everyday indeed we learn something new, at times we acknowledge and many a times we don't. Sabah I have always believed in coincidences happening but I had never seen it from your angle till now; which indeed is very interesting and cogently presented!👍🏼Actually this is quite a new 'theory' I am testing out, but I truly do believe that it carries weight.
Darkness, Wow i agree it has its advantages, its usually looked upon as a evil monster in the story with the light as the White Angel but that is not appropriate per say, both light and dark are each important in its place and have been brought out for a purpose. We also get to appreciate light more when we are deprived of it and have to be in darkness! There is wisdom in everything, sometimes things, people make it hard for us to see that. However we are ignorant, we lack complete knowledge. Only when we 'know' everything can we accurately 'judge'. Since we can never know everything, we must concede humbly that things are not as dark or black as they seem.
👏 very well quoted, indeed even if we win the world and lose our heart and soul, that world becomes meaningless! Oh no no Sabah I would love to try something so wonderful like that.We must look after our hearts, they are our guides and gauges in the real world outside our dreams.
I agree about Shilpa Aunty and her grace which can charm anyone, you put it so well. Shalwar kameez she inspired me to wear it, my aunt and I went to get one for my cousin so I got one for myself too, its such a beautiful dress! I love the ones N and G wear as well!😊They are simple but elegant. However I believe that the suit does not make the man! Shilpa Aunty, Nupur and Gunjan imbue their costumes with their lights and grace and not the other way around!
Mayank is a son who would any mother proud and now any wife as well. I know so many people stop trying, life is all about never giving up, hard times come and go, we have to learn how to face them. Its so beautiful to see M always doing that and now N also doing that with him. But then she has also never given up!😃Of course we should strive even when others do not reciprocate, however it is a lot easier, warmer and beautiful when both return that grace.
Sabah I missed one of the points you made in the last post about how even one smile, even of a stranger makes one feel so wonderful, I so agree and this show I just have a strong emotional connection and attachment, with MN and all the characters closely related to them!😳The smile, so infectious, so hypnotizing, makes lions kittens, fills both the recipient and giver with light upon light. Best of all, it is accessible to all and completely free!
👏 the japanese culture has always and always inspired me and leave me in awe.Every culture has so many wonderful insights, it is a shame that we are losing our heritage through neglect and capitalist branding and breeding. God bless you Sabah. God bless us all, butterfly.

I beseech God for good results.

Step 9 – FUN!

The most important rainbow you can give your 'child' who is now an adult is freedom of his heart, mind, body and soul. By caging them, you only inhibit their verdant growth and primrose fun!

{Lesson 9 By Mayank. Do not be deluded by the term 'free-time'. There is nothing 'free' about time. It is one of the most valuable commodities you own. It is you who decides the price at which you barter it.}

I do not doubt that Mayank played at least 'a little' with some child hood friends, or maybe I do. However one truth remains as distinct as black and white, Shilpa Aunty has always been his best friend and his best play mate.

Unlike the majority of real and pallid mothers, Shilpa Aunty sincerely encourages blue Mayank to free himself from the shade of his house and colourfully imbue himself with others on this most golden of days. She understands the silver truth behind the blanched phrase, 'If you love something, set it free...'

Even on your days off, a mother's duty never ends. A heavy heart weighs upon a yellowing mind, echoed in what Tamana mam later advises him; that although it is advisable to speak with your mind engaged, it is essential to release your heart's gilded thoughts.

Shilpa's Aunty uses all that surrounds Mayank to initiate play; the fluid oil, the solid paper and finally the airy, ethereal colour! I love how both Shilpa Aunty's pure white actions and words freely flow through into the next scene, phase and step.

Her actions remind him that playing, having fun is an important way to express your rosy love to your loved ones. She brings citrus colour into his two-toned life, so that he may learn how to share its zest with other's too.

Her words remind him of life's important lesson, 'Nothing is impossible except living in the past!'

I beseech God for patience.

Step 10 - Expect the Impossible!

If your own life has not taught you this principal, then your child's adventure surely will; that nothing is impossible! This is unlike step 6, expect the unexpected, for you will be unable to maintain decorum, for even thinking of these 'impossibilities' invites trepidation to pour darkness into your heart. Your refuge from despair comes from knowing that within this unknown and uncertain darkness lay lights to guide you out; they are faith and love.

{Lesson 10 by Mayank. In quantum mechanics there is a theory commonly referenced as 'Schrodinger's cat, which surmises that things are either 0 % or 100 % likely, there are no other probabilities. It will either rain today or not; there are no other probabilities or certainties. So is life, things will happen or they will not; there is no improbable, no impossible, not even within yourself.}

I love these scenes, for Shilpa Aunty is not accosted by one impossibility but two!

Firstly, Mayank; Drunk! I guess even destiny has a mischievous side. (Hey, Mayank, bura mat man na, Holi hai!) Again, Shilpa Aunty shows us that her merciful love is grace itself whereby her anger, horror or disappointment become grace notes.

Here we are privileged to witness the graceful poetry of Vaishnavi's and Arjun's volley of visual verve.

The second impossibility, Nupur; Oblivious! Some fans consider this an oversight, a goof up on the part of MJHT creators. However I see it as the wonders of the human soul. How can an acutely adept observant person as Nupur fail to notice Mayank's love? For me the answer lies back in her laughter at 'sirf mein bacha hoon!' If this impossibility has never crossed her mind, how could her heart conjure up such expectations!

For me this is the moment, Shilpa Aunty's heart cemented Nupur as her daughter in law. We all fell for her charms, let alone Mayank, against all odds. How could anyone who saw her, not do so? As Shilpa Aunty says "Ab mere samaj mein aaya, kyu aaj kal Mayank tum se...."

I ardently love the faith with which Shilpa Aunty places her faith in love! She understands the finer point of Schrodinger's cat that Mayank does not; "Nothing is real until it is observed!"

i m doing it for the step 9/10 for now for this is one of my favourite moments on mjht!!(will reply later for others)
U said everything Sabah...
one thing that u missed was Shilpa aunty's last dialogue of that scene...
"acha..tum bhaang ki baath kar rahi thi?? and then says..haan main bhi isike baare mein baath kar rahi thi.." with her usual charm and sarcasm!! but what she tells later is more interesting...
"Isse tho khabar tak nahi... aur yeh.. sab kuch jaankar bhi kuch samaj na nahi chahta.. problem.. jaise dosti hui hai waise hi baaki kahani bhi aage badegi!!!"
she soo well understood both... mayank as well as nupur and her CONFIDENCE that they will get together eventually was something to salute.... wow!!

U said everything Sabah... I hope not, I try to leave gaps for people to plunge in and wade through the depths, otherwise it would be a thread of my posts only. I have three main intentions for this thread. One to highlight the impact Shilpa Aunty's character had on us. Two, to showcase all the wisdom so that we might be enlightened, and three, to open up a debate, and discussion. For my views I already know. I want to grow and nurture those seeds already within me and plant new species too...

"acha..tum bhaang ki baath kar rahi thi?? and then says..haan main bhi isike baare mein baath kar rahi thi.." with her usual charm and sarcasm!! but what she tells later is more interesting...This was a beautiful moment between future Mother in law and daughter in law. For me this is when Shilpa Aunty accepted her as such. So not only Tamana mam knew before Nupur. I guess she knew before Mayank too. 😆
"Isse tho khabar tak nahi... aur yeh.. sab kuch jaankar bhi kuch samaj na nahi chahta.. problem.. jaise dosti hui hai waise hi baaki kahani bhi aage badegi!!!"👏👏👏Brilliant. You can't fight your own heart. You can't even hide there, neither can you hide it!
👏she soo well understood both... mayank as well as nupur and her CONFIDENCE that they will get together eventually was something to salute.... wow!!Exactly. Shilpa Aunty never frets, she trusts destiny, God, her upbringing of Mayank and of course that her good son will eventually do the right thing. 😃

I beseech God for consistency.

Step Eight - Tides.

As constant as the rising and setting of the sun; as forceful as the tidal pull of the moon; as expected as the awaited changing of seasons, mothers must consistently encompass a grand harmony over our child's chaotic earth.

U know mothers works a weather report for their kids......even before the kids know the change coming up in their life, mothers anticipate the consequences of it & try to make them prepare for it.

{Lesson Eight By Mayank. Our ancestors used to say that 'Your parents are like the Sun and the Moon' you cannot afford to neglect them, for their very presence affects the push and pull of the tides upon the shores of your heart.}

In today's rat race of society with parent's and children's timetables colliding, the jostling of priorities as time slips through the gulfs. We live out our lives like strangers in motels. So true..we get so bz in our own lives we forgot the ppl who give us this life.& i m not saying abt this for kids only, its true for both parents& kids.when we become parent they brought a child into this beautiful world.they r suppose to make the kid a part of their world, but their struggle for beautiful life often left them with no choice & the barely take out time to even speak with their kid for two minute.& one day both parent & child find out that in the struggle of making a world of their own .they hv created two separate world.each party is alien in others world!!!!!*sigh.that is why i always feel that .no matter now bz our life is, we should never ignore the small & simple family moments that we r getting now.may be one day we will be eagerly waiting for a moment like this but will never know that moment has already passed & we didn't pay attention!!!!! . Shilpa Aunty despite being a single working parent is a permanent fixture in Mayank's life. Like the Sun, Moon and Seasons, she is always present for his awakening and sleeping; his going and returning; his consistency and his changing. yeah! she is!😆 & in her case mayank also plays the same role efor example- that little note he left on table reminding her abt her getting late for office...

The pull of the tides into the cruel and vast sea.

I love the ironic movements that move through both these scenes. The actual opposing the literal. In Mayank's going away scene first Shilpa Aunty and Nupur being the 'actual' whereas in the returning scene Mayank unwittingly becomes the 'actual' opposing the incongruous literal.

'Kabse ye alarm bhajra ha hai." However not for the one who set it.

'Fursat mil jaigi.' As if that free time won't feel like a burden without Mayank.yeah! but the moment mayank told her that he will gonna miss her.her face became soften & immediate reply came-"me too beta..." she is a mom after all!

'Sab kuch apni jagga hai' Including Shilpa Aunty!oh! yeah!mayank make sure that by make her sitting in the chair to hv her breakfast! 😃

She implies that without her presence her mother's work has already been fulfilled. However only by her taking her seat at the table she finds her correct place for her son's loving note.

"Mujhe toh lagta hai ke is ladke ko mujhe bhi zarurat bhi nahin hai." She knows as well as Mayank, as I have said before, they depend upon each other like that perfectly balanced seesaw; without the other not only would they lack purpose in their life but they would be broken. This is the best thing i love abt them.as they both hv only each other as family they actually managed their life around with each other only .& it is not always shilpa aunty who is in parents's position..can hv her influence over mayank's life....she gave mayank equal opportunity & space to rule within her life ( what i mean is usually our parents never let kids to be a part of any decision they take for their life, it is always the other way round na! parents can take decision abt kids life, teach them what to do or not to do, but very rare it is vice versa!)

"Kab bhi toh kuch kam ghalat kiya karo!...Hey bhagwan iske mahdat ki jiye!"

As the sun, the moon, and seasons know that life's perfection depends upon them maintaining their duty but life's beauty depends upon their unpredictable phenomenon such as 'the Butterfly Effect' or 'the Coriolis Effect'; then the piece de resistance in the pinnacle of the movement "Yeh Iccha bhi puri ho jaigi!...Jab Nupur meri saath jaigi, tab sab kuch perfect ho sachta hai, kya?"

"Ke jo problem meri saath jaari hai, uska solution mein pehle se dhondkar rakh ko"

He was the lone solution in need of 'his' problem.

mayank still needed to know that uncertainty is the beauty of life....sometimes ur problem can be so wonderful that u may never want to solve it full coz u love the process of solving the puzzle more than the result!!!!!!!!😆

Ending with that last ironic twist "Wo apni sapno ki duniyo mein ab tak koi ho gi" Underestimating her again, for he implies she is lost in her thoughts when in fact she is lost in her dreams.

My heart too sinks at the thought of leaving behind the light of Shilpa Aunty but as a farewell comfort we are honoured with that gracefulness of Arjun and Vaishnavi, as Mayank harmoniously feeds her that sliced apple. yeah ! shipa aunty was not seen for long after that..but essecne was always with us in each & every trouble mayank got into in the whole trip .we so wish she was there to help him out a bit!!!!!!

The push of tides towards home.

The elbowing between Mayank's honesty and Shilpa Aunty's incredulity. As constant as the setting of the constellations, she is there to welcome him but notes than indeed the season has changed. The missing assonance in his euphony replaced by the dissonance, cognitive as it may be, does not go unnoticed by Shilpa Aunty. she noticed each& every point he was mentioning!!! & it was abvious for a mom who knows her son like the back of her hand to notice all those change!!!!!!!!!

That mouth opened in disbelief, (as they say, 'cuteness personified!')😆, not only at the rendition of narratives but that they justifiably 'make sense' to Mayank; the blatant actual staring both him and Shilpa Aunty at eye level opposed to the ludicrousness of Mayank's willful literalness; he sits upon his bed, wrapped up warm for a long cold winter whilst Spring's rain beats down around him!

"waise mein, baal ke khal toh nikalna chahti, lekin..." Shilpa Aunty's gracefulness permeates the pun and flows through into irony; the ebb and flow of actual and literal continues on in her tones. Mayank aptly looks as vulnerable as those rocks on those shores which the tides crash down upon.Love mayank there.poor he ,tried so hard ."maa aapaise kiu has rahi ho?" "maa aap thikse sun rahi ho ke nehi?" but his mom was listening to more than what he was just saying from his mouth, she was listening to his heart!!!!😆

Then my top Shilpa Aunty moment! "Bas, bas, bas! mere young kaan, itnay adult details nahin sun sakhte!" 🤣 excellent reply..i still laugh like anything when i watch this scene😆

Despite the sudden, but most desired changing of seasons, we find that the pith of the earth remains the same, "Bhalo ko mat chuo!" somethings never change..😆..though once it changed for Nupur later!!!!!

I replied to ur step -8 sabah! I was bz so got late & later i get super excited abt VM making.writing for posts took back seat for me! u know na! lazy me only do one thing at a time.....but i guess i m back!!!!!!!😆

There must be difference between two generations idea of having fun but both parents & child should respect the others POV!!!!

Her words remind him of life's important lesson, 'Nothing is impossible except living in the past!'

loved this step 9 sabah!!!😃.so, far it is the best guiding tips i think !!!!!

Dear Sabah, me finally here...
I wont go on and on but be short with my comments..since I have more than one post of yours to read and reply on..

5th Step

'As a child when you fall, whether physically or emotionally, there is no balm like the soft caress of a mother's touch, the strength of comfort of those tight hugs, the coolness of her hands upon your burning tear soaked face; rejuvenating your tired soul. As an adult, it is the same…'

So so true.....
Have you noticed how peacefully a small baby sleeps in the cradle of its mom's arms...this thing never changes... though we grow up , but its just the same way like the baby we too always crave for the protection , warmth and love of our mom's touch...of her soothing voice and her peaceful presence.

'I love the use of the 'prop'; the newspaper as a subtle distracting reminder that we are but one soul living through our troubles amongst five billion other souls and their troubles; that despite our insistence upon dwelling upon our woes they are comparatively not even news worthy.'

only you i can be sure of can notice this small detail and bring the larger picture it presents into view...

'Why is it that no one can resist nudging Mayank's nose?'

when he makes bored sort of face , as if he is not interested in the part of the conversation (though we know he is interested) ...when he does that he looks more cute ..guess thats why....

'She nurtures his resilience by reminding him the routes we pursue are as important as the results.'

sure we know Mayank too agrees with this or else the whole fight that resulted into competition between him and Nupur could not have taken place....he had the report in hand ...some lesser person could have been content with it...it takes but Mayank to see the fault in it...

'She diffuses the tension between Mayank and Nupur by treating her like a guest, reinforcing the above point to Mayank, that despite the inherent rivalry in her challenge, she isn't his rival but peer if not friend. '

yeah love mothers for this..its common with a mother i guess...whenever i had a fight with any of my class buddies , mom during lunch hour when she used to come could hear to me calmly ..
the moment i ended up pouring all the grief/anger over the person or situation that led to the fight out ... she used to ask me where actually is that friend of mine...this could anger me the most... i could yell...she/he is not my friend...mom used to more calmly add if she isn't its time you make friends with that person .... if you do that you will see that she /he is same as you are... and you have similarly hurt her as she you think has hurt you.......

'Aunty's golden advice which I have always tried to live my life by; only ever compete with yourself. '

the real competition for us are we ourselves ...... if all of us could really follow this thought then sure we could make a better person out of ourselves and every competition could have a positive end and result...no losing only winning.

6th part

'Most people have heard of IQ however without EQ you will never reach perfection. IQ is you ability to learn and understand new situations; EQ is your ability to manage and cope well with new situations. Your IQ is given to you from nature and helped along through books. Your EQ is the nurturing within you and learnt from your mother. One is a means to hoards of money the other engenders love.'

Mayank ,actually thanks to his upbringing is a perfect blend and balance of this....

this episode actually had confused me...i dint want such a repeat of situation....i felt back then..hmm guess still do...that Nupur wasn't fair on him, forget about the girl she got to lie to him...but this ladies salon thing ..i dint like it...

'I love the why Vaishnavi shows how Shilpa Aunty's heart pinches, as Nupur's sharp words thunder over Mayank's blasts.

The nurturing mother she heals Nupur's wounds too, so that both opponents may live to fight another day. '

a mother extends the warmth of her love and care to all around her...to heal, to sooth and to protect .

'Mayank hides to perfection, from the master detective of emotions, his severing of ties with Nupur. One theory is that out of his love of his mother, he does not wish to unburden grief upon her. Another reason could be that he is a gentleman and therefore does not want to taint his mother's opinion of Nupur. He hides Nupur's crime from Deodhar Sir too, when exposing her could free him of her burden. However I give all credit for 'one of the last true gentlemen' to the lady who raised him.'

he indeed is a true gentleman.....and yes all credit indeed goes to mom , the respect he has towards women in general sure flows out of his respect for his mom,
i've always admired Mayank when it comes to women....and it sure does reflect later on too when Nupur trusts him to not have harmed her when she was drunk ... she is so sure of him .....and this thing a girl in such situation hardly can feel so...let alone voice it
