First of all, congratzz on ur fourth step!👏
I loved this scene!!! it's one of my fav scene of the THREESOME ( Shipla Aunty, Mayank and ofcourse NUPUR)
Totally love the convo between Mayank and Shilpa Aunty (S.A), and then is entered by the stunning Nupur...by god she was looking really veryyy pretttyy on Diwali.
Okay, so...I love S.A bekoz she behaves more like a frnd and less like a mom...I mean in places that she has to act like a mom...she does...koz she knows how to act like in different situations!
it was soo nice when she encouraged our sadu and Akru mayank to go out and celebrate Diwali with his frnds...instead of complaining about being alone at diwali!!
I Lovee S.A's expressions...it's like she knows which expressions to show in which situation...Whether she's mad at Mayu, upset or happy she always shows the right emotion...with a touch of her Motherly Love! So sweet, na? She's Like a starrrr⭐️
Since I am a huge fan of MAYUR: My fav scene was the Pajama scene: it was tooo cutee and adorable yaar ...OMG I love them sooo much😳
It's really grea,t son and mom share a beautiful relationshhip...
S.A is a really encouraging mother and a great friend!!!😃

It's really nice that someone is recognizing this relationship besides the friendship Love...and couple love...get what i mean?

Mayank presents a prelude to pehley patakhey!

I included these introductory scenes of Mayank's invitation to Nupur and CJ's assessment of Mayank's 'Morena Walo ka copyright', as they highlight two interesting issues. Why did Mayank invite Nupur? and Is Shilpa Aunty truly strict about punctuality?

I do not doubt Mayank's honesty but I cannot help but ponder. I wanted to also include a scene with CJ, another star in Mayank's cluster of inspiring female influences. That last beaming smile of hers, a look of knowing insight; leaves Mayank perturbed not angered, as he respects her judgement. As CJ notes the difference; the once reserved and notoriously careful Mayank so willingly mixing his public and private life. If he truly is concerned about either the project or his 'reputation' with his mum then surely he could have used the convenient truth of the party with his 'easy going' mum.' However he insists and persists with Nupur.

Furthermore, he refers to his mother's strict policy of punctuality. Is Shilpa Aunty so severe in this regard, for we understand her to be tolerant and laid back? Or as I infer, is it because Mayank is aware of Nupur's relaxed sensibilities to time and is afraid that she will make a bad impression upon his mum? Which begs the question why does he want Nupur to impress his mum? Is she really only his project partner or is she his friend?

As you ponder these thoughts, I will add that for me the best examples of 'art' are those that are detailed enough to impart good sense and vague enough to leave open a door for you to tint over your own colours of thoughts. I loved this aspect of MJHT, there are no answers written in stone, only pathways for you to imprint your own aspirations and desires.

CJ for me is the finest example of what friends should be like...never complaining , never demanding ..but always by your side when you need them the most and yet never invading your privacy...
Friends have great influence on us , i actually believe in the saying "a man is known by the company he keeps" and more than ever this is something that is written all over the 'new' Mayank now....the influence of his new found 'friends'.

I simply wish some miracle happens...next morning when Mayank is yet again shown to be spending time more at canteen rather than 'his library'....CJ steps in and brings to his notice with her unique style what a changed person he is now become and how much she misses the Mayank she knew.....we knew..and this coming from a friend who's opinion he trusted and seeked I'm sure could help him re-think and mend his ways..before he himself starts missing the very essence of Mayank in him.

yeah earlier Mjht was more like a coloring book and gave us a choice to paint the rainbow according to us.....but now nothing is left to our imagination to work on....rather it has turned so nightmarish that I prefer not to think much on why something that is shown is happening...and what will it result into..

STEP - 4

What better backdrop than Diwali to unite the two most important ladies (one of them ....to be) in Mayank's life....Lights, colors, fireworks and every auspicious symbols and sounds mark the grand entry of Nupur into the Sharma household...she gets not only welcomed into their house but also into their life. Shilpa Aunty is the sunlight in Mayank's life then Nupur is his moonlight.....and they meet and also with them uniting , it also marks the meeting of Mayank (the sadhu and perfectionist ) and Mayu(the adorable and caring)...

Nupur places a diya in Mayank's guarded sanctuary... ....with that diya Nupur lights up the path into Mayank's guarded castle and his heart...and makes room for herself....the diya also brings to her notice the real Mayank minus his defenses ....what more but the first sentence he utters after seeing her proves it "Tum achi lagrahi ho."....Nupur who is so much used to compliments cannot help but feel the genuiness of it .

I loved the enchanting image MJHT creators give us of Shilpa Aunty and Nupur, together creating the rangoli outside on the porch whilst Mayank is inside his dim room with his books. They are outside living life, he is inside taking notes! Like the diya and rangoli they use to delicately decorate the porch, Shilpa Aunty and Nupur are those lights that refract though into Mayank's small world bringing forth all the colours of life! these two ladies not just add beauty and meaning to his life , but also are the very soul of his existence.

The generosity of Shilpa Aunty's light, like the sun, unbiased she nurtures all those around her not only her son. She encourages Nupur to grow into her own natural traits and nurtures Nupur to have courage in her own conviction. Mother's play the most important role in ones life . She is not only our first teacher but also the only selfless best friend we can ever ask for. A mother's ability to give unconditional love and support does not just limit to her child but also willingly includes any other child entering her orbit.....I guess thats why after meeting Shilpa Aunty , Nupur voices her heartfelt feelings by saying ".........Mujhe ek pal ke liye aisa lagga, voh Mayank ke mummy nahin hai, voh mere mummy hai...".

after going through your post not just I miss those wonderful moments but it also makes me wonder every time how can they , the CVs not miss such an important character as Shilpa Aunty ....

Hey Sabah,

Wow you took us all on a journey down the lane and you know Sabah this time I just didn't look at the scenes the way I did before but I watched them in a totally new light, I guess we all grow up or change as we move ahead and this has been the case with me as well. But more so because of you, i have viewed them in a different light, all credit to you Sabah.👏

I certainly certainly agree to what you said about art quoting you verbatim:

"...the best examples of 'art' are those that are detailed enough to impart good sense and vague enough to leave open a door for you to tint over your own colours of thoughts. I loved this aspect of MJHT, there are no answers written in stone, only pathways for you to imprint your own aspirations and desires."

Taking one step at a time, starting from the prelude to pehla patakey hehe,😆 i love the entire patakheys coming in between with the bangs and the link which you have formed Sabah. It surely is a work of a genius.⭐️

Ok coming back to the prelude. Wow I never really thought outside the box and never wondered as to why Mayank was so insistent upon having N over to his house, the answer as was presented or could be readily understood being maintaining his reputation with mum and showing mum that he doesn't torture N.

But then as well, why does it matter to him so much that his mum thinks he tortures her, if you look at his persona, he was a person who would mind his own business but then he never really cared about what others felt about him or around him, it was him, his mum and books. But I guess now as its mum so it ofcourse matters what she thinks about him.

On another tangent, I guess he could have as you correctly pointed out said the truth that she is not coming as she has to go for a party, but then I guess he might have talked so much about her, which i am sure he did and thushis mum would be very keen to meet her. I guess here he didn't want to disappoint his mum.

Another reason being that he wanted to have fun as he always did and spent some more time on a holiday hehe, 😆Okay I know I am off tangent now. But the way he would look at her and smile at times made me wonder about this possibility now.

Now about the timings, well maybe mum is really punctual na Sabah and most certainly he wanted his mum to meet her and be happy to meet her, I don't know if he wanted to impress mum. But N had become a really very important part of his life and he wanted to share this new found treasure with his mum.😳

I agree about CJ Sabah, she was what kept M as M, set him apart, even with N i guess with her esp this contrasting personality of M came out the best, as when you look at yellow against a dull colour, the contrast is more vigilant but when you look at two dull colours it isn't, thus for me to look at M and understand him better was by looking at him and how he is with N.

to be continued hehe.

Hey Sabah,

Coming to step 4, nature and nurture, I loved how you linked both, i agree about mothers they are the ones who control the reins of a child and i guess just as Naploean said that you give me good mothers and i will give you a good nation. Please pardon me if i am not able to quote the exact words. I agree about the whole analysis of a mother and she is the one who lays down the foundation and base for a child and in any and every way.

I lovedddddd and enjoyed so much Sabah, it was sooo beautiful and heartening to look at the MN i had fallen in love with and even so with the new vision you have provided us all with, or better to say is that your words, enables us to think on our own and add our own colours to life and its surroundings.

I indeed need to take classes for this fourth lesson, i am never able to or hardly able to keep these two apart. M was able to do so until N came in his life and he himself allowed the walls around him to be broken down, there was this light about her and even he couldn't deny that.

No matter how hard he tried he was attracted to that light, he wanted to get more close to that light, more so because of curiosity or because he also wanted to have a friend, he never had one and he felt incomplete in one way or another but never allowed those feelings to come out in open but when N came, those emotions came up to the surface.

I loved all the bangs bangs coming in and giving me a bang as well. I absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed reading each and every part, you made me think about each and every step so beautifully, pardon me for being a little repetitive and please let me whole heartedly thankyou for making me feel so wonderful.

The best part was that as you perfectly pointed out that Mum let both of them be themselves, no pretence, but just they themselves enjoying life with a new feeling of content, excitement, hope and happiness. I love to be with people with whom i can be me and they never look down upon or make fun of the way I am or choose to be. We all are just the way we choose to be, its always better if its choice here and not of others.

God bless.😃

Sabah :) Its always such a pleasure to read what u write and yes, I will tell u when u stray :D, but hey right now, u can do nothing wrong :D
U wrote that so well and so perfectly that I wonder if I have anything left to say ? :)
So, I'll go off tangent and try and write on how the entire Meeting with Mayank, mother and nupur meeting was from a viewer's (me me ) POV :D
I found the whole curiousity of Shilpa aunty to meet Nupur interesting. I think it had to do with the fact that Shilpa aunty could see a change in her son owing to the arrival of Mallika-e-Morena :)
Not very obvious changes, not things that others would not notice but things that a mother close to her son would notice. Nupur was the one who brought out reactions in Mayank sharma. CJ was a great friend, somebody he respects, whom he considers a good buddy. Nupur was something else, she was an enigma for him, he wanted to know why she affected him so much even though he never admitted it. Shilpa aunty wanted to know the same thing probably!
The best part ofcourse was his spontaneous reaction on how beautiful she looked, that was so not the normally cool Mayank sharma, it was straight from a heart that had been quite taken by the beautiful Nupur.
Shilpa Aunty was even more taken in by Nupur, as she sees her practicing outside the door to meet her friend's mother, Nupur had already endeared herself to Shilpa Aunty and add to this the Mein bilkul Madhuri ki tarah lag rahi hoon , she is bowled over by the girl's innocence..
The entire time they spend together is filled with vast insights into the various bonds developed.
Shilpa Aunty and Nupur hit off instantly, While shilpa aunty is not patronising or dominating,. Nupur is not trying to please. Its a natural reaction to each other, they instantly connect. Lucky Mayank:)
Shilpa aunty and Mayank share a pvt smile when they see Nupur dipping her biscuit in the tea, when Nupur realises it, she is not embarrassed, thats Nupur, she would not let things she enjoy be considered a reason to be upset even if it amuses others.
My fav conversation of the evening is where Nupur and Shilpa Aunty discuss the stereotyping of women on television, its such a moment where 2 characters that are the anti-thesis of stereotype heroine or mother discuss stereotypes...I was always amazed at the gems that MJHT used to throw up...! Interestingly Shilpa Aunty realises that the project can't have been done by Nupur. Yet she is not judgemental about it. One aspect that Mayank is unable to learn from Aunty.
This may be because he cares for her far more than he realises.
Interesting complex relationships!

Okay, so...I love S.A bekoz she behaves more like a frnd and less like a mom...I mean in places that she has to act like a mom...she does...koz she knows how to act like in different situations! She manages the friend and mother role perfectly. I loved the fact that despite being a single and WORKING mother she doesn't neglect the nurturing of her son. She has not lost sight of her intention in earning money, for the benefit of her family.
it was soo nice when she encouraged our sadu and Akru mayank to go out and celebrate Diwali with his frnds...instead of complaining about being alone at diwali!!So refreshing, thanks I missed that point. 👏

Since I am a huge fan of MAYUR: My fav scene was the Pajama scene: it was tooo cutee and adorable yaar ...OMG I love them sooo much😳They both acted so well. It isn't easy pulling off 'embarrassed' and 'wow you look beautiful' at the same time, but Arjun came up trumps. He really is quite talented.
It's really grea,t son and mom share a beautiful relationshhip...
S.A is a really encouraging mother and a great friend!!!😃
Thnnxx Saba for the awesome post!!!NO credit to me, I just present the wonderful relationship that is Mayank and Shilpa Aunty. I applaud them.👏
I don't know how to write much on this topic...but whatever came to my mind I wrote it...Hope you like itI loved it.
It's really nice that someone is recognizing this relationship besides the friendship Love...and couple love...get what i mean?We all recognized it, but I guess we all thought no one else would be interested. I should not hold such low opinions of others. I love that the number of I love MJHT thread out weighs 😡 threads, because, we MJHT fans really love loving MJHT, we don't want to find reasons to dislike it.
No one really expressed this thoughtfully about what they thought of the mother/Son relationship... BUt you did...so GOOD for YOU..and I love you for that.😉Again no credit to me, to paraphrase Mayank 'when they are in front of me, inspirations just flow'
once again....GREAT POST....
keep writing...I'll be waiting for step # 5!!!
P.S : i loved all your BANGS!!!!Did I miss any? I am not sure since there was so much hungama and shor, that I may have accidentally left out one!😳

@Nandita

Hey, Thanks for replying. Let's see what box of treats you have left me with...

CJ for me is the finest example of what friends should be like...never complaining , never demanding ..but always by your side when you need them the most and yet never invading your privacy...I never wanted to be 'cool' at school. I wanted what CJ has...that nonchalance with people's opinions, freedom from their stares, unburdened by pretentiousness. She is what she WANTS to be, nothing more and nothing less, people can either accept it or reject it, little consequence to her. Before you ask, nope! I didn't pull it off. I fell short and landed in the 'weird' category.
Friends have great influence on us , i actually believe in the saying "a man is known by the company he keeps" and more than ever this is something that is written all over the 'new' Mayank now....the influence of his new found 'friends'.As there are many colours of love, so there are many colours of friendship. It is not inevitable that we become tainted by our company. Look at the example of Mayank when he helped out Samrat against RJ. He pulled them into his sphere. We cannot deny the phenomenon of entrainment but shouldn't we then try to be the grandest grandfather clock! Otherwise we are going to end up following the footsteps of the Romans.

I simply wish some miracle happens...next morning when Mayank is yet again shown to be spending time more at canteen rather than 'his library'....CJ steps in and brings to his notice with her unique style what a changed person he is now become and how much she misses the Mayank she knew.....we knew..and this coming from a friend who's opinion he trusted and seeked I loved this image you have placed into my heart and that is now swimming around my head and making a whirlpool of my thoughts!. I loved it! 😃I'm sure could help him re-think and mend his ways..before he himself starts missing the very essence of Mayank in him.I still haven't given up hoping that there will be a return to the good old spirit of MJHT. Silly eh? 😳

yeah earlier Mjht was more like a coloring book and gave us a choice to paint the rainbow according to us.....but now nothing is left to our imagination to work on....rather it has turned so nightmarish that I prefer not to think much on why something that is shown is happening...and what will it result into..There are many people who tell us how the world is...I guess that is what they are trying to portray in current MJHT, however it used to stand with those people who tell us how the world could be...

Nandita it is up to you now!

Ok coming back to the prelude. Wow I never really thought outside the box and never wondered as to why Mayank was so insistent upon having N over to his house, the answer as was presented or could be readily understood being maintaining his reputation with mum and showing mum that he doesn't torture N.Dilemma na?😕

But I guess now as its mum so it ofcourse matters what she thinks about him.He can't stop being a mummy's boy! Seriously, he has done an amazing PR job for mama's boys. They have been elevated to the level of kings.

On another tangent, I guess he could have as you correctly pointed out said the truth that she is not coming as she has to go for a party, but then I guess he might have talked so much about her, which i am sure he did and thushis mum would be very keen to meet her. Another reason being that he wanted to have fun as he always did and spent some more time on a holiday hehe, 😆Okay I know I am off tangent now. But the way he would look at her and smile at times made me wonder about this possibility now. True. Another point is that Shilpa Aunty is a full time working woman therefore the Holidays were the only really free days she had to give to Mayank for 'fun'. Maybe that is why he persisted since Shilpa Aunty would become busy in her work again.

Now about the timings, well maybe mum is really punctual na Sabah and most certainly he wanted his mum to meet her and be happy to meet her, I don't know if he wanted to impress mum. But N had become a really very important part of his life and he wanted to share this new found treasure with his mum.😳I too lean towards Aunty being a stickler for time. She teases Mayu about it! Afterall it is a good trait, she off all people understands that time is too precious to waste.

I agree about CJ Sabah, she was what kept M as M, set him apart, even with N i guess with her esp this contrasting personality of M came out the best, as when you look at yellow against a dull colour, the contrast is more vigilant but when you look at two dull colours it isn't, thus for me to look at M and understand him better was by looking at him and how he is with N.Oh, butterfly, that was beautiful. You caught me off guard that I just floated away with the force of your poetic words. Thanks!👏

to be continued hehe.It gives me time to find my feet back upon the ground. I would say after this post, your a Golden butterfly, with shimmering flecks of yellow and mauve. Beautiful!
