Dear Mods....

Ummm i noticed that so many OS topics are opening, if a OS gallery has been opened then why the constant breaking of rules. Also on FF's too. And they aren't being locked or the people given warnings to. I just want Mods to be more strict on the rules, if they are created.

We cannot police people's hearts nor minds. Freedom of expression is a beautiful right.

However all rights come with responsibilities that if can not be upheld by the individual then must be maintained by those given authority.

I am not asking for an Orwellian nightmare but just protection of this wonderland of ours.

The problem with hammers is that even when the rage is gone and you pull out the piercing nails, a 'hole' remains. We have failed this forum member once before. I fear those holes will turn into an emptiness which will stain our souls with a darkness, rather than taint the intended target.

I thought MID were strictly NOT allowed, so why are there so many floating in our atmosphere suffocating us through their pollution?

Its too Disgusting act done by some IF member.I M totally agree with AASHI & RESHMI. Only "TOPIC CLOSE" step is not Perfect & Mature decision. By The Way,My q. 2 MODERATOR of this Forum-What is the meaning of "PM" - PRIVATE Message OR PUBLIC message. Please!Clear this confusion!! And must to need some strong action against some Cheep & Crap Members of IF.

Coming back to the recent Issue. About Info's being leaked out. I would say 1stly its all done by Newbie's who might be one of the Regular members or someone New knowing you personally and doing things just to put you in a bad light.
Now we the Mods wont personally know such people. All we can do is do IP check and Warn the member from doing so. Now if that member does'nt pay heed to us or go by Rules ... we then Raise WL's and last is BAN.

Apart from that how are we supposed to force the member for an APOLOGY? Even if we ask them to do so they will hear it or not is something we cannot stand for. I have time and again told every member here that Avoid interacting too much with Newbie's. Be it SG Fan/MN fan. When such posts come which bash/mock or you find it suspicious REPORT it. Dont reply and give undue importance to such threads.

Youre absolutely right!! But I mean..We all do need to know who it is..cause I mean I would never ever forgive that person even if he/she was my friend!!! Gosh..I feel sooo soo horrible..and the point is that if the person is a regualar member of IF, and has friends here..people who trusted him/her..I dont now, but I surely do want to know who it is...I hope youre getting my point!!
Youre right, we cant force the person for an apology..but if that person is a regular member..most of the ppl have friends...and have contact with them..so indirectly we can force them for an apology, right?
I mean..if that person is one of my friends, I'm in touch with them apart from IF, I would sooo force that person to post an apology..but again, youre right..nobody can be forced..but gosh...Banning wont help either, Preeti!! That might only lead to creating a new MID and posting again...

Its just that .. its spoiling the whole mood in the forum with such posts (atleast for me)...

If its a regular member..and in the end we arent able to force that person to post an apology..can you guys like somehow ban that IP (whatever that means 😆 related to the computer I suppose)
..so that there is NO WAY for that person to create a new ID, from atleast that computer?

But again, if not the actual person, I demand an apology from ALL the ppl who like clicked it...I mean, we CAN force them!!!! Sorry, but HAVE to apologize..this is JUST NOT DONE!!!!


@VampirePrincess: I know what you mean..but you know, i dont think such ppl will care if they get banned...cause they wud only be more willing to create a new ID!!
But arghhh...increasing WL wont help either...I mean this is just NOT fair..whatever happened...it cant be treated the same way like someone who spammed...and their WL are increased too, nah??!!
