Chapter 38
A confession and a moment
Disha and Shikhar sat in the car on the way home. Both were very relieved that there was nothing seriously wrong with her, she had the flu. Shikhar had called Ranveer to tell him the good news, since he knew Ranveer would be incredibly worried for Disha. Ranveer had been relieved, but Shikhar had heard it in the voice of his partner that something was wrong. And you did not have to be Einstein to know what's bothering him.
"Disha, we really have to start the plan soon" said Shikhar and Disha nodded and admitted that she was thinking the same thing.
"How do we start?" asked Shikhar uncertain. Disha thought for a while before she came up with an idea.
"Angela" said Disha excited
"What about Angela?" asked Shikhar?
"Your idiot, soon there are 17 May, and we ask Ishani and Ranveer bring her in the parade. Since I'm sick and you need to take care of me, Ranveer and Ishani can take her with them , this way they will also get time to spend with each other " said Disha who was already thinking about the rest of the plan.
"Ehmm, Disha how will this get them back together?" Asked Shikhar
"Your idiot, you can not fix everything between them at the first step. One must be very careful and patient. I have many plans for them, "said Disha and Shikhar nodded.
"I just do not want Ishani to hurt my partner more" said Shikhar honest as he looked the way he drove. Disha nodded, she recalled in which state her brother -in-law had been in.
"Same her, but Ranveer hava also hurt Ishani," said Disha
Yes, but Ranveer he had a reason. Maybe not a good one, but a reason anyway. " Said Shikar, without thinking of what he revealed. Disha was shocked and started to wonder about Shikhar knew more than he had let her know.
Shikhar did as he was told, and he hoped he could find a way out of this.
"Shikhar, do you know something I do not know? " Disha asked honest
"Yes, but I can not tell you. "Shikhar answered.
"Shikhar, do not do what Ranveer did"
"He is my partner, I can not break his trust " said Shikhar defensively .
"I am your wife," said Disha and saw Shikar sigh
" Disha, all I can tell you is that Ranveer is a good man and he has never had an intention to hurt anyone or to use someone for his own benefit" said Shikar and hoped that his wife would understand that he could not say anything more .
Disha nodded and grabbed the hand of Shikar and said, "Whatever it is , we owe them to save their marriage because if it had not been for them we would never have been married," said Disha, and Shikhar agreed with his wife.
Ishani hated sari. Sure they looked beautiful on anyone who wears them, but Ishani Vaghela had no idea how to use one. Disha had requested her to wear on for the dinner. Ishani really did not want to go to this dinner with Disha , Ranveer and Shikhar . But one pleading look from her sister , alas here she was struggling to wear a sari.
Jupp, the sari had also been Disha's idea.
To top her other 's worries , she heard knook on the door.
" Ishani , are you ready ? " asked Ranver kindly,
" Ehmm , just go without me " said Ishani giving up, Ranveer got confused by her answer so he went in her room to see what had happened . The sight made him laugh, a very annoyed Ishani who were trying to were sari.
" Your idot , stop laughing " said Ishani and took a pillow and threw it against him.
" Okey , sorry . Here I will help you " said Ranveer and by saying that he went closer to her . Ishani looked at him astoundingly and asked :
" I can 't remember you telling me that you know how to wear a sari ?" Ishani asked , this time it was her time to laugh.
" Yeh , one day Ridhima was going to wear Sari for a party and she did not know how to wear one so maa taught her and then mom taught me as well. Saying that maybe one day I would have to teach my wife or daughter , which I had found incredibly riddiclose at that time but maa was right " said Ranveer getting emotional thinking about his mother and Ridhima.
Ishani could not stop herself from feeling jealous of Ridhima , the thougth of how close Ranveer and Ridhima had been made her want to pull Ridhima's hair off.
" Ishani " asked Ranveer
" What ?" snapped Ishani , realizing what she had done .
" Sorry , do you mind helping me ?" asked Ishani , mentally slapping herself for what she was thinking.
Ranveer nodded and started tucking Ishani sari like is should be and Ishani saw how he kept his face on her face and did his best to not make her uncomfortable. Seeing that made Ishani smile and she whispered:
"You know mom died when I was very little, so wearing sari was just one of thousand thing she was not able to teach me " said Ishani .
Ranveer wiped away Ishani 's tears and time froze between them. Ishani pulled him in a big hug and cried to her heart's content. Ranveer was taken back , but kept saying soothing word .
But the moment was disturbed when Ranveer 's phone started ringing , which made Ishani realize what she had done.
"Saying a fast thank you, she rushed out of the room. Ishani and Ranveer was both confused with what had happened and what that meant.
" No no , this is not good. From now I have to make sure that there is distance between us , I can 't get my heart broken again " said Ishani to herself.
AN : So another chapter done , btw this IshVeer moment happens on 16th may , one day before 17th may ;)
