The two families meet. Mahurat is out.
Shankar and Vrinda mumble something between themselves. Maya notices and asks her what the matter was. Vrinda tells them that two days later is Raashi's birthday and she wants the engagement to be on that day. Banu is agreeable and asks the panditji to look at the grahas two days later, the panditji says its a good day. Banu feeds Kashinath mithaii.
Aditya is going through old photographs with Aditya. Raashi seems to show some recognition of the past, she smiles more. Raashi's latest reports come in. Sanya asks what reports they are. Aditya says Raashi is still having dreams and he needs to do a couple more test. It seems to him that Raashi might be able to return home soon.
Jiji and Banu meet. Jiji says their game of snakes and ladders is almost over and the end is near. Banu says that he is afraid the snake will bite and they might fall down. Banu tells her how Aditya has changed and decided to bury the hatchet with his family. Jiji whispers a plan into Banu's ears.
Aditya is in his office, remembering his mother's words and his love for Sanya then the Shankar Sanya closeness. Aditya decides to return home. He calls Sanya asking her to meet with him to discuss about them. Sanya is skeptical but she agrees. Aditya wants to meet at the mandir.
Shankar is walking down the steps with Shankar where Shankar is telling her that this morning he was going to dance with Raashi. Jiji stops them and tells Sanya to go to the nursing home and collect some reports for her. Dr Gupta from the nursing hospital calls him telling him to come over for some case. Its Banu who has told the doctor to call Aditya and rewards him.
Shankar and Sanya are at Laxmi nursing home. Aditya sees them. He shouts her name but she doesn't hear and leaves.
Aditya looks through the file and says its a simple case. He tells her that a lady doctor came and she wanted to do an abortion. She had come with her brother-in-law. He gives her name as Sanya Pandey. Aditya leaves shocked. The doctor calls Banu and tells him the work is done.
Sanya is waiting outside at the mandir. Aditya comes. Aditya asks her where she came from and what she was doing at the nursing home. Sanya asks him why he is keeping tabs on her. Aditya accuses her to having a love affair with Shankar. Sanya slaps him.

Shankar comes to Sanya's room concerned about her health. She tells him to leave her alone. He touches her hand to check if she has a fever. She shouts at him to leave her alone. Shankar is confused.
Jiji tells Banu that their job was to give wind to burning ambers and now the fire will burn on its own and make its own path.
Shankar is knocking on Sanya's closed room door calling out Bhabhi. Shakti is asking him why he is shouting, whether he is going to break down the door. Shankar says he was calling for Bhabhi. Shakti tells him she has gone out.
