Part 1

Part 2

I think one bad movie Rani starred in was Hello Brother...i didnt find that movie so great and rani'z role didnt have much meaning or substance. i mean, yes she did play a bit of a comic role, since the movie was a comedy, but if we were to compare her comic performance in that movie and in Bunty aur Babli, then we can see that she has much more of comical presence in Bunty aur Babli. Her performance in bunty aur babli was much better than hello brother. in bunty aur babli she had a core role as one of the comic characters and it made the movie fun to watch...in hello brother she was not of the core comic characters and i think the movie tried to hard to be "funny", but it wasnt and was poorly done. Rani has come a long way in comedy, and bunty aur babli has been one of her best. Hello brother was a bad movie and raniz decision to take part in it, will remain a mystery to all of us...😆

Part 2

~ You need to pick one "bad" movie ( in ur opinion) that rani starred in and compare it with a "good" movie

Like Khush, I think Hello Brother isn't Rani's best movie to date. Granted it was at the start of her career (or rather 2 years after her debut😆), but Rani's role didn't leave an impact though she was the heroine of this film. Though it wasn't as focused on her, she could have added value to this comedy.. but seemed to me that she just got in the way as Hero (Salman) was haunting his "brother" Vishal (Arbaaz).

In contrast, take Veer-Zaara. SRK and Preity are the main cast of the film and the movie is about their limitless love; but Rani's presence as the lawyer is quite significant and she carries the role with grace and elegance. She could have been any other lawyer in the movie like Anupam Kher, but she manages to stand out with a touching performance. In Veer-Zaara, Rani's acting truly shows how she's matured over the years as an actress and how stunning and impactful of a performance she can give in a movie that doesn't entirely belong to her.
