Happy Navratri everyone. I am just awestruck everytime when I see that how Maa is evolving during these nine nights. Lets listen the story of the evolution

Maa Shailputri

Maa is worshipped in her daughter form. How a small baby is, Maa too is naive and she has just two hands which indicates that she is innocent like a small girl child. Just like a small child recognized by her father's name, she too is recognized by her father's (Shail) name.

Maa Brahmacharini

Maa is doing Tapasya and learning skills. She did a hardcore Tapasya for Mahadev. Just as we go to schools and serve a greater purpose in life, Maa is learning and learning her own hidden energies to serve a great purpose. She has two hands and she is following Brahmacharya, she takes us away from materialism.

Maa Chandraghanta

Maa has realized her skills and she is now possessing ten hands. Her energy is expanding a bit. Her few hands have weapons, while one hand has a lotus and a Mala, bell. After learning her skills, she is now balancing Bhakti and Shakti. Just as how we finish studies and Maa too has finished her learnings and she is ready to face any situation. She is vigilant now

Maa Kushmanda

Maa's name is a significance that she is ready to give birth to the child. She is compared to a pregnant woman. Maa carries a water pot which is the symbol of Garbha

Maa Skandmata

Now a daughter has become a mother in this form. Maa after giving birth has become the mother of Skand Kartikeya. This form of Maa is celebrated for her motherhood and that's why she doesn't carry any weapon in this form. Vatsalya Swaroop, Swayam Mamta ki Devi

Maa Katyayni

A mother nourishes a life and she becomes powerful for her child. And she fights to protect her child. How a mother fearlessly fights for a child, Maa has 18 hands in this form (energy has expanded even more) and she has killed Mahisasura in this form. She is the power of motherhood

Maa Kaalratri

Kaal Ratri means black like a night and other meaning of it is she is the Kaal herself. This form of Maa is very furious, a child faces extreme cruelty she can fight like Maa Kaali. And she carries horrific materials in her hands. Maa's energy has turned so wide that she can destroy

Maa Mahagauri

Mahadev calms her and she turns from black to white. She lives happily with her family and she showcases her skills and she has turned into a calm composed lady. By being Mahagauri she signifies that a person must fulfill his/her responsibilities towards their families.

Maa Siddhidatri

The supreme form, compare her to our grandmother, who is wise and gives their experiences to us. Maa is blessing us with her Siddhi's in this form. She has attained her superpowers and this form of Maa was united with Mahadev and they were called Ardhanaarishwar

This is just my analysis, sorry for mistakes, such a beautiful evolution!!!!!

Jai Mataji

Har Har Mahadev

Kosha

P.S. I dont know whom to tag now, but tagging my friends here, Devashree you will definitely love this

Crazy Creatives' writeup this year is very appealing, a huge improvement. (Typo "Stillhe" should be "She" for MahaGauri)

Why thank you. We were worried we wouldn't be up to standards after last year's lovely "criticisms" that you presented. So we double checked all our facts with a proper pandit.

Vijayā-Daśamī, the tenth day, is traditionally an occasion for sīmo'llaṅghana - transcending one's limitations. I try to practise it year-round by accepting valid suggestions for improvement in good faith and ignoring the nonsense criticisms from spiteful poseurs.

While the reactions to my constructive suggestions last year were rude, I've never allowed bullies to discourage me.

I appreciate your efforts to improve.

Mother is the source of Power Scientifically proven.

We get 50% of molecular DNA from the mother and 50% from the father.

But we get 100% mitochondrial DNA from the mother. Mitochondria and their DNA only come from the mother to the baby. Mitochondria produce ATP. ATP is the source of energy in our body. So, we receive power from our mother. And our mother gets it from her mother and our father also gets it from his mother.

This is very interesting that in Hinduism the god of power is mother - Adi Shakti or Maa Shakti, our mother. The scientific understanding over the ages and years is very clear.

All the Vedic pujas and yagnas and the perfect mantra of Maa Durga work on a subtle level to excite and empower us.

*आप सभी को नवरात्रि की ढेरों शुभकामनाएं*
