Vijay, the line made bold is enough disclaimer for any statement made thereafter. However, you do also go ahead and say that U know he has been found guilty on ONE COUNT.Well first of all I am neither a Sanjay Dutt fan and niether have studied law any day (except those in Bollywood movies and news articles). But what I know is that he has been just found guilty on one count i.e. "possession of arms" i.e. AK-47 and he has been cleared of the other charges like being part of the terrorist conspiracy.
Our whole debate is exactly that - that he was found guilty of only one crime, i.e. possession of fire arms. That compounded by the fact that in the case of other accused, possession of fire arms have been booked under TADA where as Sanjay Dutt has been cleared from TADA and booked under Arms Act, which is basically for keeping weapons which are not in the nature of AK 47 etc.
U say he has been cleared of the criminal conspiracy charge, but having had benefit of seeing and reading material on the trial and discussing this matter with the lawyers involved with the matter, I can say that the material has been selectively used and the treatment is not like equals.
Well as per law we cant call an accused a criminal until found guilty. He has been cleared of the "terrorist" charges.
The whole debate is exactly that - that the judiciary has succumbed to pressures and cleared his name when the evidence points otherwise.
Personally I DONT think Sanjay Dutt would have been part of such a terrorist act if he had any idea of their intentions and the scale of destruction that could have caused.
Or it may so happen that he himself have succumbed to the threats he recieved from D company to co-operate in transferring some "goods" else... (you can guess). But we all here are just talking on assumptions without knowing the real truth.
U spoke of assumptions Vijay. I am talking of facts here. Facts that weapons were found, facts that he tried to dispose off the weapons, facts that calls have been traced to his phone and zillion other facts, which I would not want to bring in here. Even your thought that he may not do it is just UR thought and assumption and not based on facts or borne out from records.
Well there have been no proofs / evidence shown that he had recieved any monetary favor for being part of the crime except the AK-47.
What I just wonder now is that did he thought that his house will be attacked by some mob that he had to use AK-47 to tackle them. 😕
After complete investigations and in court he has been freed of the "conspiracy" charges.
I dont think it was anyones case that he did this for money. And it wasnt just AK 47, he had RDX, YES!!!!!! He expected a mob to come to his door step and he thought he can use the RDZ to blow them off his doorstep.
Well law must take its own course.... lets not talk on assumptions.
Cheers,
Vijay
Vijay!!!!!!!!!! We are saying just that... that the law must be allowed to take its own course.
