Sanjay Dutt is awesome 😛 no matter wut ppl say 😛

I believe that he should be punished, and he's just an actor, it's his job to act. You can't judge Sanjay dutt's morals, from a movie, That's just being empty-headed.

He deserves to go to jail, i hope he does. Justice should be done to Rich and Stars also!

I wouldn't believe this..he is from such a good family. His both parents were so gr8 and everything. People are just bullshitting about them

Being caught with Arms like hand grenade, AK 47, Rifles, RDX is no BULLSHIT my dear.

Do you know how many innocent people lost their lives because some such "people from good families" decided to play HOLI with the blood of innocent people.

Do you know how many families never got to see the bodies of their beloved ones because the quantity of RDX used in the blasts were so much that the entire body was blown to smithreens.

Do you know how many bodies were cremated with limbs/ parts missing.

Do you know how people went to identify the bodies in the hospitals. The bodies were so much that initially they were placed neatly for identification, but as the numbers increased, bodies were kept in piles, to search for bodies of their beloved, family members had to sift through the dead bodies to see if their family member is there in the pile

Do you know that a guy who had recently married had gone to the Passport office to make his wife's passport for their honeymoon, the guy is no more, he died in the Passport office blast.

His parents may be great, but the parents and families of those who lost their lives were equally if not more GREAT! Their loss is irreplaceable.

this is all true but this does NOT mean that S.D. iz responsible or he waz even plannin on blasting ne placez...

for the first time i am seeking lawyers words..

But...he is all most out of TADA...unless CBI files petition after reading courts statement...AK47 for self protection.. as he said ageed with him coz he got threat calls(as he said). lekin RDX and grenades mean was indirectly involved.

Ahmed ji, the judgement is a disgrace to say the least. I did not want to even write this here, but in view of some comments by members, I must write this here for better understanding of all members.

The court has exonerated him under TADA and held him guilty of possessing arms and has convicted him under the ARMS act.

Every other person who has been charged with and held guilty of possessing RDX and AK 47 have been convicted under TADA, even a person who merely carried the parcel, with or without knowledge of its contents.

In view of the finding in the case of Sunjay Dutt, every other accused/ convict in the matter can rely upon the finding in SD case and hold that if a fellow accused can be booked only under Arms act for the same crime, equal treatment be given to all and they too be booked under the ARMS Act. All those who have been booked for possessing fire arms under the TADA act will now come under Arms Act, the punishment under which is not as severe as the TADA.

Every other convict was immediately taken into custody, be it lady or man, on pronouncement of decision. But in the case of Sanjay Dutt, the time has been extended till the period which he is out on bail. The Court has no JURISDICTION to pass the order as the Magistrate is empowered to grant Bail only in such cases where the maximum sentence is below 3 years. Here, the maximum sentence is 5 years and the Magistrate had no jurisdiction to permit Sanjay Dutt to go out.

Now, every ohter accused/ convict will seek shelter under this order and seek equal treatment.

Possessing arms like Hand Grenade, AK 47, RDX etc are not for "self protection" and therefore booking him under Arms Act is making a mockery of our judiciary and the statutues.

All in all, it was a shameful day.

I hope CBI has enough freedom to be able to file Petition challenging this order, else the entire 13 years of trial, the process of collecting evidence and the slim ray of hope which the families of the deceased had would go to naught immediately. Sanjay Dutt will be cited as a precedent and all the accused will be able to take shelter under the less stringent law.
