Vijay, it is our case that there are political reasons to make his escape the noose (so to speak, figuratively speaking)!

In fact, forget being a scapegoat, he is getting it off easy.

Fact remains that FIRE ARMS and HAND GRENADES were recovered from his house. Fact remains that Abu Salem had visited him during the period preceding the incident.

For similar acts, others have been sentenced under TADA and he alone has been held under the Arms Act, with just another person, I think.

Possession of Arms, particularly the ones like AK 47 or 56 are not meant for personal protection alone and in any case, post the Bombay riots, Bombay was declared as a notified area and possessing of fire arms of this kind was not permitted in Mumbai, and anyone found with it was held under TADA.

So why was the charge under TADA removed and he convicted under the Arms Act alone?? One reason could be that under Arms Act, the sentence is lower.

There have been many deviations from procedure in his case. Any person convicted is always immediately taken into custody. sanjay dutt was convicted but left out, till the date of his bail. How was he different from the other accused? Or did the other accused not have families or other priorities to attend to???

This is where the inequality stands out!

Priya now you changing from your earlier stand. Earlier on the post you said RDX have been recovered from his house and now you came to Fire Arms and Hand Grenades.

Where as the truth as of now is it that no where in the media (print, online and television), past and present it says that Police recovered these things from his house.

Just cause Abu Salem visited his house doesnt makes him a terrorist and a party to the entire crime untill clear evidences being presented and proved.

If that has been the case then, we have all seen Govinda, Jeetendra, Jaya Pradha all dancing in one of the party organised by Mr. D and was seen together with him on the same stage. That doesnt mean they are also criminals. Today 2 of them our member of the parliament.

Cheers,
Vijay

i dont know why
i dont beleive that sanjay dutt did it
maybe its a plan against him
because when i look in to hjis eyes he looks like a person who wouldn't do these things. even if he had taken drugs though he wouldnt actually carry weapons

this is actually what i thought now and before for the bomb thing too

I Know that it is bit rude, but the Judges in India are all corrupt.

No Use asking them to do jusice. They have their pockets filled with enough money that they will set loose Abu Salem also in a few years.

It is pure Hipocracy.

Sorry for the state of affairs in India.

First of all the Politicians should be given a trial in front of the people. Did we not see how Rahul Mahajan got away with his drugs case.

😡 😡

India needs very very strong politicians who are honest also at the same time.

As rightly a Television announcer said if Sanjay Dutt's movies in which he is a terrorist had been released this year prior to the court judgement, things would have been different.

No Use.

He will come out of it very cleanly.

Sorry for the victims of the '93 blasts.

*PHEW* finally finished reading all 13 pages. I just have to say that Priya I agree with everything you have said so far. Personally, I am a huge Sanjay Dutt fan and love his acting however, regarding the issue at hand, I believe that Priya has hit it head on. 👏

All the people that are defending him and saying that he couldn't do this, and this is a conspiracy against him etc. Could you please just put yourself in the place of those who have lost their loved ones in the blast and then tell me if the same thought comes to mind. Of course keeping in mind that he DID have the RDX and AKs at his house and he did ask people to get rid of it.

I'm a fan too, but that does not excuse him. He should be punished. I hope he gets the full term of imprisonment since the case dragged on for so many years.
