Nooo: Playstation 3 getting delayed

London, Wednesday 6 September 2006 – Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) today announced that it would revise the launch date of its PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system in the PAL territories of Europe, Russia, Middle East, Africa and Australasia from 17th November 2006, as previously announced to March 2007.

No, we do get it directly too these days, for example XBox 360 has been launched in India officially, it costs Rs. ~ 21k but the problem is the cost of original games, original games cost around Rs. ~3k which is a too much for a single game, so most gamers wait for modded consoles courtsey our brothers in Taiwan/HK...😆

BTW, currently I have a SEGA Dreamcast and a PS2. I used to have PS1 earlier, SEGA Megadrive before that, an 8-bit console before that...😊

I heard that Playstation 3 is really nice. I still have the first Playstation, so I dont really care when when number 3 comes out.

So, those living in US/UK, can you describe what an ordinary gamer (your friends/classmates etc) feels about XBox 360 and PS3, what is the popular perseption? Which gets more support?

I don't really play playstation so it doesn't really effect me, lol.
