Some weird Questions

Hi Guys!
How're you doing? I just want to ask you some weird question lol.
1. Why do we like always say "like" in the middle of a sentence when it doesnt even belong there? 😕 😆
2. Why are we always like "She'a like whats up," when we're supposed to say "She said whats up," 😆
Okay, I know those were weird questions - but Im just curious.
Well, I use them because well, Im used to them hehe. Even if I do try to avoid saying those, I still cant help myself. You would hear me saying "like," like a million times in a sentence. 😆

I really don't have an answer to your question...but it's funny, I use them a lot too and if I start to observe myself..I end up doing it more😆 I guess it's just natural
