They focused only on Ml and for Ml they only had guilt as powerful weapon to drive tracks 😆.

To emphasise on Pallavi's errors and create a track about them, they would have to give her a good backstory, divulge in her past and/or feelings, but who will care to do that in a ml oriented show?

Pallavi was used just as Raghav’s wife or Deshmukh’s daughter in law for most of show .

MHRW, in my opinion, failed miserably because it gave more emphasis to supporting characters like Sunny, Keerthi, and now Esha, while Pallavi's emotions were not adequately addressed in majority of the tracks. She was never given the same level of attention by the writers as the lead character.

Vijay and Keerthi's redemption was expected , but it's strange how the writers wasted a golden opportunity in plot lines (there were quite a few in Mandaar track for Vijay) to redeem them but now in just a blink of eye they've turned into sweet characters giving counsel to the leads after doing stupid things themselves to separate them.

This is where MHRW failed majorly imo, it paid more attention to even supporting characters like Sunny , Keerthi and now Esha but Pallavi’s emotions weren’t explored properly in most of the tracks . She never got equal attention of writers as lead .

+1 on this.

Everything you said Alia is OP

Not giving equal attention to FL is costing them show. How a love story supposed to work without FL That's where cvs failed miserably

Saare zamane k ML ka redemption R ne akele kiya hai.

ITV k history k har ML ka qarz chukaya hai.

Let people do mistakes and sins and be obsessed in the name of love kyunki redemption sirf RR hi karega.

I saw the trailer of Sirf Tum ML is Vivian Dsena who is an obsessed lover dekhna bina redemption k bhi yeh character log kinna like karenge.

💯 For bold

Exactly.. this was the first thought I got when I saw the trailer of Sirf tum.. i was like iss ML ka bhi redemption RR pehle se hi karke chodega...Not only Past and current MLs but future MLs ka bhi RR hi karega..

It's laudable that they worked on Ml's character, but the injustice done to Pallavi's was awful.

Anyone with a reasonable mind would have expected to see her and later Raghav's turmoil when her late husband returned from the grave exactly when she was about to proclaim her love to her current husband, but what did we get? Mandaar and Raghav having a ridiculous bet and ego war over Pallavi, who is busy serving people in the background and has no feelings or thoughts of her own.

Even in this track , we got to see Esha and Raghav scenes ( past and present ) hogging most of the screen space , Raghav’s insecurities and guilt , but Pallavi was okay with his behaviour after a while ? No focus on her emotions or thoughts? How ridiculous.

After 2-3 good episodes, we are back to Raghav pushing Pallavi and she’s not even given enough space to soak everything in .

Its raghav's redemption that is why people are still watching. It is for the love of the character and may be some shock of how he can do such a thing.

If it was VD and Keerthi's redemption many would not have bothered to watch. It is little harsh, but I don't think VD or Keerthi can be the center of interest of a track and hold the interest like leads story can. They can't run the tracks be it redemption of any other track.

But I do wish it was any other track of raghav or Pallavi, instead of the redemption.

I feel bad that you're not able to enjoy the show as much as you used to and I see that happen with a lot of older folk here.

If you ask me, I'm happy with the show (I do have some reservations but on an overall basis I don't mind). It's ITV, it usually does get bad after a certain time - depends on individual threshold.

One thing I wish they did different was focus more on Pallavi's emotions, even if she didn't get a separate track of her own I didn't mind but not showing her emotions made the audience lose connect.

Also Raghav has cried more than your typical itv bahu. In the process of making Pallavi fierce (unlike the sobbing bechari female leads), they forgot to show her emotions at all.

But I'm seeing the brighter side of things, I've enjoyed this show and its way way better than all other shows I've ever seen.

Secondly Raghav has been made into a punching bag for both the audience and the characters in the show. Nothing new as you said... he was like that from the beginning. Better he should have been paired with someone who has the galls to take him on and live that down.

Pallavi being all holier than thou, her self righteousness is stifling to be brutally frank....

They look more like the grey shaded antihero (whom some would love to hate and some to want to give the benefit of the doubt) and the white wrapped heroine (who is a fire breathing dragon who turns into a doormat in regards to her family).

Period.

TV shows don't have dur dur ki vaasta with logic. I agree.

It is a vicious circle Anushkha. We made Raghav humari Punching bag and he has made Pallavi his. Sigh. Hum kya hi Karen issme.

One thing. Pallavi is not holier than thou. She compromised with her ideals for her husband. She could have reported the smuggling but she didnot. Her head will be forever held low because she suppported him in that. It was a not a favour to anyone. She loved her husband more than her ideals. Raghav fir bhi learnt only when Pallavi took a bullet.

Ek baat hai. Ladka bada hi nautanki, drama queen hai. Pyaar pareeksha 😃, Pee pee ke mar jaunga, matlab hadd hai. Biwi is fighting for Life and this guy still has time only to do nautanki and threaten her. I laugh at his antics 🤣🤣

And one thing, Raghav is also weak when it comes to his family. Raghav aur Pallavi, dono hi apni family ko aage rakhte hain, before each other. Pallavi ko blame kiya when his sister acted sensless and ran away. To quote Pallavi, woh pandit nahi thi, mangalsutra usne nahi dalwaya na? And the girl manaoed him. Usme me bhi nakhra 😲. Aisa kon karta hai 🤔Bewakoof kahika 😏

Period.

Pallavi has compromised her principles for Raghav out of love, but all it took was the appearance of his ex to get him back into an unhealthy drinking competition and (after spending the night with ex) to forget his promise not to lash out and cause a ruckus in the media just by a few words from his ex, Raghav's progress and promises are laughable, Pallavi has quietly changed herself in the background to adjust to him and his temper, just because she doesn’t shout on top of lungs (to break those so called promises just next episode) doesn’t mean she hasn’t done anything for him and acts holier than thou.

Doormat ? 😆

To be honest, Raghav is the more doormat type; Pallavi has indeed given back to the Deshmukhs and Raos at times , both before and after marriage , but Raghav? Has he ever been able to have talk with Keerthi ? (He has just slapped her few times in anger but that’s it and doesn’t made any difference). He either acted like doormat or slapped Keerthi , so who’s breathing dragon who turns into a doormat in regards to his family?

He still feeds his sister and brother-in-law, who ruthlessly backstabbed him, and now even his ex, despite the fact that she made a mockery of him.

Don of Hyderabad till date couldn’t look into eyes of his own sister and atleast question why she tried to ruin him , his wife or their marriage , his brother in law plots to assassinate Pallavi in his own , quite powerful anti hero I must say .

Punching bag? Raghav has been called out for things he has done , so I don’t think punching bag is appropriate term for it .

He didn’t learn anything, he forget bullet incident instead was reflecting on his ex’s words and even creates ruckus in media due to her words though Pallavi told him to be calm. For him , Esha’s words >> Promise to Pallavi

Nautanki is endearing and adorable at times, he doesn’t act like mature person even in severe situations, Pallavi is crying and expressing how broken she is , but instead of reflecting on that , he’s pushing her .

This 👏, Pallavi and Raghav both love family , but Raghav is more of a doormat when it comes to family than Pallavi .
