Doormat ? 😆

To be honest, Raghav is the more doormat type; Pallavi has indeed given back to the Deshmukhs and Raos at times , both before and after marriage , but Raghav? Has he ever been able to have talk with Keerthi ? (He has just slapped her few times in anger but that’s it and doesn’t made any difference). He either acted like doormat or slapped Keerthi , so who’s breathing dragon who turns into a doormat in regards to his family?

He still feeds his sister and brother-in-law, who ruthlessly backstabbed him, and now even his ex, despite the fact that she made a mockery of him.

Don of Hyderabad till date couldn’t look into eyes of his own sister and atleast question why she tried to ruin him , his wife or their marriage , his brother in law plots to assassinate Pallavi in his own , quite powerful anti hero I must say .

Bang on Alia 👏👏

Yes Raghav was the real doormat for his family because he never questioned his sister and BIL regarding Mandar. He never questioned Keerti for saving sunny from accident and putting him under the bus. He never questioned Sunny for helping Laxmi who almost killed Pallavi. So he's the real doormat not Pallavi

In a way I agree with what you say. Its like Raghav messes up, realizes his mistake, apologizes & tries to solve the problem. Rinse repeat. Does get tedious after a point. However I dont agree that Pallavi is too righteous or annoying. Come on which normal woman would prefer her husband to indulge in illegal activities like smuggling. She was right in asking him to give it up. Because ultimately law will catch up with Raghav & he would end up in jail. Also from the beginning it was Raghav who went out of the way to pick up a fight with Pallavi. She never wronged him at any time but he kept on punishing & torturing her for some imagined crime. The only track where Pallavi really got on my nerves was the Mandhar track & the CVs showed her as too Mahaan which obviously dint go down well with the fans. But if you look at it in an unbiased manner Pallavi has always been mostly rational, sane & stuck to her work. It was Raghav who was always messing with her, torturing her & disrupting her work/business. He is highly erratic, impulsive, rash & arrogant. But I think the CVs wanted it that way to show how Pallavi keeps him grounded & provides him with emotional support while Raghav brought out the fighting spirit in her & made her more street smart & less meek.

Raghav is guy is so full of himself and even now it about HIM…

Meri Pallavi kho hath lagaya!!!

It’s ok if she is angry with me and doesn’t forgive me but I can’t tolerate her questioning My love!!! This was his reply to Ayi…

I will not justify myself and accept your punishment but will not accept your Blame and you doubting My love

Pallavi has to forgive Me…

What proof we need to know that his damn EGO IS HURT…and he is working to reinforce it…

Nothing this guy has done till now can be termed as repentance and self harm is not repentance, it’s a well thought out act to coerce a person to give in to their demands…

And him Roaring at Esha…don’t touch me stay away..get lost…well I would have been impressed had he said this to her when she was explaining him how wonderful she felt after sleeping with him, when she asked him for ‘thodi si jagah’, instead he brought her home, when she was repeatedly getting physically close to him, hugging him, emotionally manipulating him, instead he was giving in to her demands and comforting her..

Now saying all this after his wife left him and refused to forgive him makes him the most hypocritical person on the face of the earth…when Pallavi was with him, he took her for granted and was leading on Esha and today she left is when he realizes the boundaries as a husband…well if Pallavi has to leave him and go through the pain of getting cheated is was it takes to remind Raghav of his integrity and loyalty towards his wife then Pallavi deserves better…

I want Pallavi to ask him had she slept with Mandar in an intoxicated state, hid it from him and still remained in D house to take care of Mandar and then asked Raghav to forgive and accept her…will he show the magnanimity to forgive and accept her…NO…he won’t, he didn’t bother to listen or care for her when she told she passed out and didn’t remember anything on the mangalgaur day…instead he blamed her, blasted at her and reminded her off her responsibilities as wife.. how hypocritical…

Let Pallavi do what Raghav did to her with Esha and let Raghav forgive and accept her wholeheartedly…let Him see Pallavi choose another guy over him and if she returns to him, let him accept her…that will be his true redemption coz that’s what he is expecting from her right!!!! you can’t except something from someone if you don’t feel need to give it first..

I really want to see a light happy funfilled Raghav at least at the end.

If they had to remake Devdas one more time, I'd vote for him to be cast as Devdas. He would nail it.

I have been watching the show from the beginning, and I found its initial concept very unique, but since the forced marriage track, things have been on a downward spiral. They just blazed through their content - rushed the love story and butchered the Mandar track.

I feel like the forced marriage track was not needed at all - actually I thought it would have made more sense for the families to accept the marriage and push for the marriage rather than RR MUing Pallavi. They should have had Pallavi and RR just fall in love slowly. And why did they make Pallavi not really love Mandar? If RR can love Esha, why can't they just have shown Pallavi loving her first husband? And Mandar's backstory was lame and illogical.

And why are the CVS so obsessed with reforming RR? I actually thought he was fine before as well. Yes, his impulsiveness needed to be controlled, but the whole idea was that he was supposed to be the 'Don of Hyderabad', a gray character. Why did they try and whitewash him? I thought the whole journey would be that Pallavi learns that the world isn't black and white, and Raghav would change his attitude towards love and women, which was the real problem.

But they made Pallavi so mahaan and RR just running after her. RR's character was the essence of the story, making him this naive dude running after Pallavi was the worst.

Yeah, because last I read doormat is person who accepts being treated badly and does not complain fits Raghav more than Pallavi 😆, he silently took all dirt Keerti threw his way , though she was in wrong and his doormat way not only hurt him but actually hurt Pallavi more .

Forget Keerthi, even outsiders like Sunny , laxmi and Esha get away with most of things under his nose.

More than guilty Raghav , it was Sunny who butchered his ‘don Raghav’ aura, to make Sunny win easily , makers kept making Raghav dumb .

Agreed.

Both Raghav and Pallavi have been turned into doormats. Raghav could have been quite a powerful anti hero had they kept true to his character and not suddenly sloshed it in the middle. The intial Raghav Rao had a lot of potential of being a very unique lead character who tends towards the darker side. Had they not turned him into an apologetic crying drunken mess.

Pallavi's holier than thou attitude is prevalent not because she has not comitted any wrong but because she believes she hasn't. I have never heard her apologize about anything she had done during the Mandar track. Not once. She self actualizes yet justifies her own behaviours. The small little apologies she offers is more for pacifying than actual mortification. She is self righteous because she refuses to acknowledge her own mistakes coupled with the fact no one ever considers that she may have made mistakes as well.

And frankly Pallavi has been taking quite a few punches from her family (and by family I mean Deshmukh's, Raos, Raghav all of them.. if that wasn't clear). Her fire breathing comes out only when faced with outside people ie; Esha, Sunny, that ACP in the prev track... other than that she is contended to take hits after hit from her family (Raghav included).

And yep! The audience has made Raghav a punching bag. And I cannot comment on what he has been doing for the past 3 weeks coz I have stopped watching but this issue had blown out of proportion from that warangal night telecast itself. During that time he was not at fault. After that though... that was a mistake.. continued lying was a grave error. So thats justified I suppose... but anyways it gave me a headache.

Sunny is.. well. I would say currently he is the most stable and the smartest character in the play. In the makers' never ending effort of making Sunny a good villain they have dumbed down Raghav mercilessly.

Keerti and VD's redemption could have very well be taken a side track instead of that idiotic double role of Sulochana.

And frankly speaking Amma gets on my nerves. This lady has no control over her words neither her actions. This was shown from the beginning as well. She used to slap Raghav left right and center without a single thought of her actions or their surroundings. He is a grown up man now, she can't go on physically assaulting him in front of his employees or guests or even strangers.

Not only Raghav, she has slapped other characters as well. Keerti and Esha. All are adults for God's sake and most of the time Amma has no right to do the aforementioned.

Its getting cringey and tiring now.

As is this continued emotional imbalance and torture of this guilt ridden tracks.

PS: Makers, please stop hurting Pallavi and emotionally guilt tripping Raghav into doing stuff. I mean, bass bhi karo yaar. Ek hi formula kitni baar apply karoge? Thakein nhi kya? Please consider intentions before consequences.
