Arjun is shown as SECRETARY to any Ministry, this must be the biggest jokeImposssible, I don't buy this crapbecz Secretary is the senior-most level position of bureaucracy and an IAS becomes Secretary with ripened experience, somewhere only in the last phase of their career...no way it's possible for an IAS to be promoted to Secretary to home dept. this early, & doing field job is impossible...what absurdity & how disgusting this is. I was shell-shocked to hear about his post, isse acche initial rank of IAS lete, phir bhi believable tha. Technicalities ke saath itna bhi bhadda mazaak nhi karna chahiye tha.

In one of my earlier posts in this thread, I ranted & wrote a full critical analysis on- the obsession of ITV makers of taking high profile, reputable GOLD COLLAR JOBS, only for ornamental purpose, to give their show some weight.....and tadaaa later onwards, it loses all its relevance, the audacity with which they make those jobs a joke, & butcher the whole dignity of that job, the way they tweak with the job profile so much, that it looks irrecognizable, they can mislead naive ones who watch their show, big time, regarding the job profile.

If these idiotic shows are brought to the notice of "GOLD COLLAR PROFESSIONALS", they'll roast the shows similarly like Dr. Sippy & also send a SHOW-CAUSE NOTICE to ITV producers or even better sue them. ,IAS Officers must be crying in the corner, if they see this

Dihiva, rightly said "jitna bada profession utna bada khel or drama"

The post you are thinking on which ias reach towards the end of career is only chief secretary. Its the most super senior post, literally like a baap of all bureaucrats.

Secretary is not that much high level also. There are many levels of it as joint, additional, principal, etc. Ias with around 15 years of experience can reach there (which might be possible in arjun's case, if he shown around in his mid 30's)

But yes, even a secretary is also not a field job. There is no way an officer of that level will run around like a constable with walkie talkie in hand but as we know itv and its obsession with ruining the gold collar professions

My guess is that they wanted to make Neil a police officer only but since Neil has done Virat's role already, he didn't want to be a cop so they made him as senior IAS where he doesn't wear uniform but tweaked the job profile to make him do all the work of low level cop because even higher post cops don't run here and there like arjun

Buji isn't entertaining as Manoj is...kuch bhi kaho ...he aces as a villain....Buji typical villain hai jo Rangu ko Shobha deti hai

I dont care much to be honest as to what extent they show. Even a hug or simple stare can be so romantic if they film it aesthetically but yes sometimes a scene looks incomplete without physical acting and it fails to create that effect which leaves long lasting impression on mind of viewers.

So yes, physical acting is also very important. And itv standard for it are good enough like blurring the scene when hero heroine comes close, zooming in or out camera, playing romantic song in bg and hero lifting heroine etc...there are many cliche through which it can be shown. It doesn't have to involve skin show as such.

But my point is i dont know why itv serials these days are not even showing these cliches.

Like in ghum, they only showed Sairat consummating their marriage in one romantic dance sequence. Only that thing seemed normal but apart from that they didn't show physical proximity in sairat which gives vibes of husband and wife. Though there were lots of dance sequences for them but still pre leap, they mostly looked friends only. However post leap with children coming into the equation and some mature romance did give that feeling of a couple.

But may be in that show, both the actors might be hesitant for such scenes as Neil's real life wife was also a part of that show🤣😂 I swear even the simple hugs of sairat used to look so awkward sometimes with them just putting their arms around each other but there used to be good few inches distance between rest of the body😂🤭

So far in MB their hugs looks organic and beautiful. But I really hope here in MB they show good romantic scenes also. Specially when arjun here is very outgoing about his feelings for megha and he doesn't hesitate to show his love, like that scene when he brushed her lips with napkin in front of other officer😂🤭. My hopes are high. They may use all itv cliche tricks but I want some good romance 😍😊

I don't know if I am padhaku types may be i notice these things a little more than others.

But with years of now being a avid serial watcher, i do expect some maturity from itv in this department but they are only growing more foolish🤣😂
