That whole agreement thing between Surender & Arjun is such a silly plot line. When Arjun came to know of cancer diagnosis, he should have informed Megha despite her dad’s protest, the family would have made sure he got treatment. Marrying Megha..and that too supposedly getting pressurized (for what?!) doesn’t have any iota of logic or sense. And on top of that Arjun was shown getting so enthusiastic after engagement despite Megha’s obvious sadness & discomfort..he should have atleast been shown keeping a respectful distance…made him look stupid. We can only assume they wanted to get Arjun & Megha married by hook or crook..whether it was consistent with the characters or not..if the reason had logic or not.

exactly, he's just being shown as someone regretting over hiding the pressurization ki sachai from Megha in the first place. Could care less about what his fam did by hiding the truth from Megha but why did Arjun lie in the first place?? Maybe, he should've disclosed this in front of Megha. At least thoda respect toh hota from Megha's side knowing that she's still suffering from PSTD from Manoj's lies.

Father's part is understandable but it just makes Megha look like a burden on her family too. Plotline is clearly visible that this is in a way to get Megha & Arjun together by coercion w/o proper buildup tbh.
