Episode No 620 Monday 16/11/09

Well well, Megs makes a sweet - distribution - well, maniac's GF is
Subha - not Shiva, Roja stands corrected - yap yap yap - both Megs
and Subha go on and on and on ...... Megs sings a maniac ashtothram
"romba nallavar.... staff ellarukkum neriya help..... I am going to tell u
some thing...Subha, u might be jealous... a friend of mine admired
Sir's nalla gunam so much that she fell in love with him..." Subha immediately asks " Anitha??" Megs kku 32 pallu kku oru rendu
moonu koodave irukkumO nnu Roja doubts - apdi oru ilippu !!!
Subha thanks the inventor of cell phones and tells Megs that maniac
tells her every thing - " dhinam enna dress nnu ennai kettu thaan pOttuppar.." While the two ladies yap, maniac has no clue as to
what hit him - Megs draws him in to the conversation but he can
just dole out a pathetic smile. Subha says that the marriage will
be held soon ...well folks, both the ladies discuss maniac as if he
is not there - finally Megs realizes that she has been playing
goose berry. Wants to take leave. Subha decides to go along.
Megs can not fathom as to why she can't stay with maniac. Subha
says that she is still very traditional and her father is expected as
well. Both the ladies leave ..maniac fumes....Samy digs "enna
ppa ammini yai kalyaanam panrathu Oothikkichaa??" Maniac stops
him with a roar ( athu sari, vera enga kaatta mudiyum??)

Kirtana and MIL - Kirtana wants to go to the temple and MIL is
surprised that Kirtana is still very naive -" unga maama kku therinja ,
we may have to donate our skin , apram hand bag or slipper aa
intha veet le thonguvOm " (hmmm appO kooda vera edathukku poga mudiyaathu !!)Kirtana has a basic doubt - " ithu veeda, jail aa??"
Meena is surprised - "ah ha ha.... enakku ipdi kekkanum nnu thonave illiye??" Finally, no temple.

We are back to a fuming maniac - who is adorning the maadi
padi - and fretting. Samy brings a cup of coffee - Time for some
007 activity. Maniac says that some one is playing a meticulously
planned game - Samy is no help - doubts an ex employee and the
canteen contractor - but maniac is not convinced - finally Samy
says that it could be Viswa and maniac seconds that. Asks Samy
to call Suresh, Viswa's friend - while Samy makes the call maniac
growls "avanukku evvalavu thimir irunthaa.."

And time for some confession. Subha is in Kalai's house. Kalai
is confused - "Maniac said that he will marry you..but this girl....
his GF..." Subha is watching the drama with no expression. Paati
confronts "appo, why did maniac agree to marry you??" Megs
says that maniac lied " ungalukkaga ..amma kkaga... he just lied.."
Tilaga's saucers are spread....in to side plates.......Megs looks sheepish...Subha has a look which says "enakka kalyaanam??"

Episode No 621 Tuesday 17/11/09

Ekka chakka soga mazhai - RKo family lives up to its name.
Subha is sitting in the center and all are discussing maniac -
Tilaga says that maniac cheated them by agreeing to marry
Megs. Kalai is upset, paatti is upset - Subha finds her tongue
and informs - "amma , Anbu and me ..we are deeply in love with
each other, he can not /will not marry any one else. But, good people
like you should not curse us - apdi curse pannina enga life nalla
irukkathu. Think of me as your daughter ..Anbu is a very nice person..."
Having said this , she leaves - with a promise of visiting them later
with maniac. Tilaga crrrriiiiieeeesssss - Kalai says that she has the luxury
of crying aloud "naanum un paattiyum manasukkulle azharOm "
Tilaga has a valid reason -" unnai vida chinna un thambi, thangai kku
ellam kalyaanam aachu..unakku mattum..." ( phew athu than reason
aa??? Megs kku oru nalla hubby kidaichi ava santhoshama irukkanum apdingrathu is not the justification ??) Megs says that she is actually
happy - "marriage is not the be all and end all of life !!!As long as people do not come out of this mind set, life is tough for women !!" Kalai says that he will make sure to get a good groom for Megs. Megs says that all her siblings had the pleasure of enjoying parental love -"na thaan chinna vayasile irunthu athukku kuduthu vaikkalai..na ipdiye unga koodave irukkene.." Family does a RKO - Kalai is the new entrant.

Moron brings Sara home - just when Pechi feels bad that they can
see Sara only after 2 years - Sara enters and all gather around him.
Ask him about the premature return. he says that he has no clue -"annan thaan thirumbi kootti kittu vanthuttaru , I do not know the reason !!"
Moron walks in with the "lukkage" and the family flocks around him demanding to know the reason. Moron says that a friend of his told
him that the company which employed Sara is not a good one -"ange
poi passport ai ellam pidingi vaichindi, slave mathiri treat pannu
vaangalam !! Last minute info, it is important that Sara is safe - not
his job.." The family is not convinced, Sara is upset..moron asks
Loosu "what do u think?" Loosu says that she has no opinion but prevention is better than cure. Moron asks her to convince the family
and goes in.

Suresh meets maniac - thunddai pOttu thaandi promises -" how can
this happen?? Viswa would NEVER have done this!!!" Maniac is not too sure about that but Suresh says that he is the only friend that Viswa has and nothing could have happened with out him knowing - throws a time bomb - " Sir, unga show case le photo....laptop le screen saver...all this can be done only by some one who is close to u" Saying this he looks at Samy. Maniac is ready to hold on to any lead and so asks Samy " did u??" - Samy vizhunthu purandu azhuthufies - sings Thalapthy song "natpai kooda karppai pOle ennuven" and points fingers at Suresh - " ennai pathi ivan sonnathai nambi, u doubt me?" Falls on the floor, rolls ...cries..... Suresh apologizes and leaves. It is a marathon effort for maniac to pacify Samy - finally Samy asks " Viswa panniyiruppana ithai?? what do u think? " Maniac says "I do not know, but if I get confirmation about Viswa's involvement in this....will kill him..."

Wednesday Episode No 622 18/11/09

Well well , u guys guessed it right - "operation confuse maniac" is the
game play of Viswa and Samy - Subha is a drama actress employed
by Viswa to drill some sense in to wood head Megs. Samy says that he
is only happy to help true love. Viswa warns Subha that she should be
very careful. " Maniac will threaten you when u are alone and will go to
any extent." Samy also says that no one can predict maniac's reactions.
Subha says that she has a black belt in karate - "and I am making sure
that I am never alone with him, so do not worry about me." Viiswa says
that it is better that things are kept under wrap until they achieve their goal.
All disperse - Viswa says that he will call them about the next move -"let
us not meet too often".

Suresh is at Viswa's house - probes Lachu and dhadi about the whereabouts of Viswa " na vanthu ithanai neram aachu!!! enge porennu solla liyaa??? eppo varuvaan?" Both dhadi and Lachu have no clue. Suresh probesssss " yaaranum new friend??? any new contacts??" Dhadi says that Suresh is fretting so much???" pray why??" Suresh samalichufies "illai ppa, I have to go athaan.." Lachu says that Viswa goes out often these days "antha Megs ninaippu matrupadi vanthudichu pole, veetai vittu veliye pogame irunthaan, ippo marupdi Oor suthing !!" Suresh frets some more. Dhadi says that Viswa has no friends other than Suresh "munne antha maniac vanthu help panni.." Lachu explodes "avan perai sollatheenga nnu solliyirukkene... yen payyan life ai kedukkanum nnu avanum antha Megs um sernthu plan panni.... avan per inge vendam" Then Lachu says that one of the tube lights in the drawing room is faulty "unakku therinja nee paaru, otherwise can u get an electrician?" Suresh plays electrician as he has to wait for Viswa. Samy walks in and maniac wants to know the reason for such lengthy absence. Samy says that he went to order for water. Maniac is tensed that Suresh has not called. Samy says " so what??? why dont u call him??" Maniac calls and dhadi picks up - sees the name and tells Suresh - Suresh asks him to ignore " I will take care" Maniac calls again and this time Suresh attends . Maniac explodes about not getting any news. Suresh says that he is at the "party's" house "party veliye pOi irukku, vanthathum news therinjikitti koopidaren" Maniac is happy that he is at Viswa's place. Samy heaves a sigh of relief. Next priority is Subha - maniac wants to personally visit Subha but Samy stops him " pOi vendatha vambile maattikka poriyaa??? just call her" Maniac calls - twice - but Subha does not pick up - she is coming back in an auto. Maniac is mad and says that both Viswa and Subha are not in their respective places "some thing is fishy, let me go and see her" Samy frets and says " she may be bathing, eating or some thing !! why do u want go?? call one last time" Maniac agrees and calls - Subha just enters the hotel, hears the receptionist mentioning her room no ...runssssss and finally picks up the phone. Talks all lovey dovey to maniac who in turn barks " enge pOne?? how many times to call??" Subha says that she was bathing. Maniac disconnects and Samy gloats "paarthiya , correct aa point ai pidichen... Samy is a genius. Antha Subha yaaru, yethukku vvantha ithellam theriyaame... if u go and meet her u would be in more trouble"

Megs the frog is croaking to Anitha who is shell shocked " enna ennavO solre?? Maniac oda GF vanthuttalaa??" ( appO, avanukku oru GF undu nnu sonnathai nee nambaliyaa??? innum avan mele crush??) Megs says that Subha is God sent - "inge veet le ore pressure for the marriage, maniac was samalichufying... at last now this side is clear" Anitha says that a big problem is sorted out " now all that u have to do is ..take Subha, go to Viswa and explain" Megs that she is not planning to do that. ( pinne??? innum oru naalu varusham epdi intha serial ai izhukkarathu??) Anitha is surprised and asks "so, u do not love Viswa any more??" Megs says that it is Viswa....Viswa...Viswa...always for her " but he is looking for a bride for himself !!" Looks sad....Kalai overhears this conversation ( Kalai ennavO poochi mathiri thirumbi vanthinga !!! romba seekiramaa intha family traits ellam kathukittenga!!! besh besh..)

Thursday - Update... Perumale, give me one less torture episode like last week...

Starts with Anitha asking megs, why are you not in love with Viswam now? Megs with azhuga moonji kural saying that only vishwam rejected the offer... she keeps talking about how great the love is.. Megs continues saying that she doesn't want to go and give an explanation to vishwam about arrival of subha etc.. its not going to work... Megs keeps saying their love is very deep and truthful love... She keeps repeating all the stuff between megs & vishwam guys... I am bored to write... Our wonderful "AATHA _ MEGS" says that let vishwam leave happily and peacefully... Anitha says I am very sorry and since she is out of town she is very upset.. and says she will come and see megs once she comes back to Madras...
Kalai pozahppu ottu kettu mudinjachu...now kalai says "amma megala .. un mansukulla ivalvu kathal vachukittu aduthavangulakka vittu koduthu vazharaiye..." Kalai takes vow saying that somehow he will make sure to get megs & vishwam marry each other....

Scene goes to Boo's home... Sara finishes his breakfast... and then boo waits for sara to finish and asks him to go with him outside.. sara asks where anne? boo says lets just go out and comeback and reports to boo's mom that he & sara going out...
once boo & sara comes out.. sara asks why did you bring me back without sending me to work.. why anna?
boo says why are you hiding the truth.. boo says that he met the call girl who sara sets up for getting his name bad .... Boo says why are you telling lie?? boo gets to point that who is that girl you loved... tell me everything .. boo asks who is that girl? boo asks was it one side love? sara says no it is double side only.. only time made us to separate... sara says that his lover is now married and there is no way sara can marry his lover back... kadavule... finally boo says that time will change and one day sara & his lover will join hands... sara thinks in his mind that this will never happen....

QBS lighting candle for Diwa's b'day... looks like she is surprising diwa... ore smile aa cake & candle eduthu pora....
QBS wakes COD and sings happy b'day... ithuku baby vera sakshi...finally diwa cuts the cake... and cake is being fed to each other... QBS gives a surprise gift for COD...COD says that this b'day was a special one and also pleasant surprise... QBS & COD ore konjals aa irrukku... QBS says that diwa need to be very happy today and changes saying full life...
thank god... no QBS & COD fighting... I am still thinking whether it is a dream or real.....

Maniac is talking to himself that how much did I plan... everything was messed up.... he is getting upset and angry... walks here and there....
wakes samy ... This is too much guys.. Maniac is hitting samy with his leg and trying to wake samy... now pours water on samy's face and wakes him up... 😡 😡 😡
Maniac says that he is not able to sleep whole night as pulling his hair out... and how come only samy is sleeping... samy keeps saying that he will think while sleeping.... Now again maniac says why are you sleeping like this... Samy says why can't it be Anitha?? Samy continues saying that Anitha was in all love with you but you declined her... and may be she might have done this right....
Maniac is thinking deeply that it might be Anitha...

Hurray!! No Balu & Karuna torcher for me today....... Perumal ennai intha varam kappathitaar...

Next week its long weekend here and I won't be around to watch Megala next thursday.....

Episode No 624 Friday 20/11/09

Maniac shouts at Samy for sleeping peacefully "naa kidanthu
inge kidanthu alladaren, unakku thookkam??" Samy is still
sleepy but has to get maniac off his back - "Anitha va irukkumO??'
Maniac looks puzzled and now Samy talks about the office accountant
"avan ennai torture panraan..." Maniac shouts at Samy some more -
Samy gets up and asks maniac to look in to the mirror -" namba rendu
perum water beating panni mallantha pothu kooda ipdi gorama illai.
Why don't u sleep for some time??" Maniac says that some one is
spinning a 'sathi web" - "athai kandu pidikkame no thookam. I will
have my bath and go to meet Subha" Looks like this statement does not register in Samy's mind - he goes back to sleep.

Balu household - Balu ORDERS for some coffee - Meena brings it
and Balu finds it kurang manis ( less sweet , pa Roja is brushing her
Malay😳) - shouts at Meena saying that her attention was not in the coffee
she made for hubby darling "enakku coffee podum pothu, vera yaarai
ninaiche??" Kirtana listens to this and decides to confront Balu - " why
do u treat athai like a slave?" Balu says that it is some thing between
him and his wife "keep off, ok?" Kirtana goes to Karuna and asks
him about not defending his mom . Karuna says that if she has any idea
of spoiling the harmony of the family, she can go and fly kite "neenga
ellam pombalainga, so adangi ponga, ok, we will show all our anger only at the women at home. " Kirtana asks "appo naanga enga kovathai yenga kaamikka??" Karuna says that women have no right to be angry. Kirtana opposes all this and Balu says that such talking will only result in her getting some dharma adis. Kirtana is categorical -" i was patient all the while
but enough is enough. Try slapping me and then u guys are doomed. I am an educated girl, Dowry act padi ungalai kambi counting kku anuppa mudiyum, beware " Leaves the place - Balu and Karuna are lost - do not
know what hit them !!!

UBS and COD - UBS is all lovey dovey - tells COD that she has planned
for the whole day - "we go to the temple, then eat out and then a movie
ok?" COD agrees for all this but hesitantly says that he needs to go to
another place - UBS is in a benevolent mood "unakku enge pOganumO
ange pOlaam, sollu" COD looks down at the floor, acts as if he is the
bride at the "girl seeing ceremony" and hesitantly tells UBS that he always
took blessings from his mom first - "ithu kooda na solliyirukka maatten,
amma per sonna unakku buzzz nnu kovam varum..." ( ada che, enna yya
manushan nee??? Kirtana kku irukkira courage kooda unakku illai??)
UBS is quite for a few minutes ....COD is still looking at the floor....
then UBS condescends -"sari, let us go to your mom's place first and then
do the rest of the programs.." COD is elated .

Loosu and moron - moron says that Sara is still in love with that girl -
"though she is married !!! He acted as if he went behind a call girl only
to stop the wedding !!" Loosu says that since Sara's ex is married , he
needs to look for another girl. Moron says that the girl can not forget
Sara so easily. Loosu says that girls have a different attitude towards
love and marriage -" no girl will nurse her love affair after her marriage.
That thought will go south, please make your brother understand this"
Moron tries to probe some more , talks about UBS eloping on the eve
of the wedding ...but Loosu is not in a mood to listen. Asks moron to
stop this topic. After she leaves, moron says that he can not buy this argument -" I am not fit to be your hubby, I will make sure to get your
ex,some how"

Maniac visits Subha - demands to know who she is. Subha says that
she is his GF - " the one who is going to marry you" Maniac has his maniacal gleam and shouts at her "dont keep saying this, beware"
Subha says that his disowning her hurts her badly. Maniac shows his mettle - "yes my darling, I love u, now I feel like getting a lip to lip kiss
from you, come on humor me...." Subha is shell shocked...

Monday Episode No 625 23/11/09

Ada che, intha Megs sariyaana gooseberry - Maniac romba aasaiya
oru lip to lip kettaru.....Subha decide panrathukkulle, Megs walks in -
sees the love birds in a compromising position - ayyo Megs kku
bayangara vekkam - Subha kku bayangara relief. Subha complains to
Megs " all this before the wedding??? che che, Anbu kku romba
avasaram" Megs supports her boss and Subha chides her for being
too loyal. Now Megs Paatti says that they can not postpone the wedding
any more "sir unga mele romba aasai vaichu irukkar, so..." Subha says
"exactly my sentiments" - Sari, Megs ethukku gooseberry ya
vanthaa??? Subha had asked her to come so they can go shopping.
Megs says that the shopping trip may not happen - "in such a mood!!!" Subha says that they were waiting for Megs to come "namba 3 perum sernthu porathaa plan, vaanga pOlaam " Megs in the meanwhile makes maniac and Subha to stand together - holding hands - and takes a snap in her cell phone - tells Subha that she will print the snap and give it as a wedding gift. Subha mutters under her breath "Anbu, neenga vanthu
thaan aaganum" Maniac just follows.

Shopping - Subha nalla maniac purse ai kaali panraa - 4, 950 rs
pazhutthu pochu maniac kku - the shop owner says that if she makes
the bill as 5, 000 , they have a draw planned -"first prize is a gold chain"
Well , Megs decides that maniac needs some kerchiefs - buys and makes the bill a round figure. While maniac is kakkufying the money nondhufying his vithi, the shop owner kulukkufies the box - well u got it, Subha gets the chain. Ava nalla athaiyum surutti kkara ( over and above the salary from Viswa , nalla loot mma unakku !!) Megs tells maniac that she is able to
see how lucky Subha is "when u said that all good things happened
only after seeing Subha, I thought that you exaggerated..but now, seeing this, I know Subha is lucky" Both the ladies leave the arena and maniac
mutters "luck enakku neenga thaan, will sort out every thing soon"

COD and UBS - visiting Durga and Sada. Durga welcomes sonny boy,
takes the baby in her hand, chides COD for wearing a black striped
shirt ( gift from UBS) , gives him a bright shirt and asks him to wear it,
feeds him laddu, gives a little to the baby..zzzzzz Roja take a deep
breath - full stop illame oru sentence??? vidinjithu pO - UBS moonjile
no fly dancing - when Durga feeds the baby UBS says "no sweet for him"
Durga says that she also knows about bringing up babies and feeds
COD one more laddu. Sada makes up by giving a laddu to UBS ( well,
I don't blame Durga for ignoring UBS - she is phosphorus on all sides, enge urasinaalum pathikkum !!! ) Durga says that she has planned to
make mutton biriyaani and fish fry -" so inge sappidanum, ok??" COD feebly says that UBS has different plans "we are going out for lunch !!!" Durga asks "oru velai yen kaiyaale sappida maatiyaa???" Then COD tells UBS that his mom makes fantastic biriyaani "ingeya sappidalaam, ok??" UBS says "athaan decide pannittiye, apram enna?" Sada is going out,
tells Durga about getting some thing "let it be a surprise, u start cooking" Durga goes to the kitchen with the baby...COD and UBS are sitting in the drawing room as if they are visiting some distant relatives !!!

Episode No 626 Tuesday 24/11/09 Update By Eljay

Anbu's office - Megala, Subha and Anbu arrive. Samy greets them and everyone comes around to see them. Megala is bubbling over with joy and Anbu looks uncomfortable. Megala tells Subha that this is her company now, and takes her inside. Subha says that Megala's desk looks very neat (how can it be messed up? You have to do some work and be there and take out some folders for it to get messed up, if you are always visiting your boss in his house and konjifying with his girlfriend, how can it get messed up?), then Megala shows her Anbu's cabin and their lunch room.

Lunch time - Subha serves lunch to all. She says she has prepared it and Megs cracks some jokes about how Anbu will praise it even if there is no salt in it, and Samy talks about Anbu never praising his cooking. Subha says she will eat later and Megs says she knows why - so that she can eat off Anbu's plate - and I am getting irritated by this silly woman and her silly jokes. Then Megs says she now sees what true kadhal is, and then says she has a prarthanai, and she wants Anbu and Samy to go to this temple with her for the prarthanai. Samy says that Anbu does not go to temples, but Anbu agrees - unwillingly.

Viswa's house - he is watching TV and Suresh comes in. He asks where Viswa was the previous day and V says he was at the beach. Suresh wants to know where he goes these days, and V says that he goes to the beach when he is upset. Then he asks S why he was waiting for him and S says that he just came to talk to him. S goes and talks to V's mother about talking to the girl's family and then leaves. V thinks in his mind that S is betraying him and befriending Anbu just for money, he knows about all of this now.

Kalai's house - he wants to go to Viswa's house and talk about getting Megala married to Viswa, and Tilaga and her mom feel it is not a good idea. They tell him that he may get insulted by V's family, but he says he has to do this for Megala. Athai comes in and asks what the matter is, she says that one day Megala says she wants to marry Viswa, then they fix it with V, then she says that she will marry Anbu, so they fix it with Anbu, now she says Anbu is engaged, so why are they running back to Viswa? She too discourages Kalai, and right then Balu walks in. They greet him, and he sits down without any enthusiasm. They ask him what is going on, and he says that they need to teach Kirthana some manners. He says that she has threatened to turn them over to the police for abuse, and she has said that they will have to eat kaLi in jail (that will be a pleasant sight for Priya and me to watch!). Athai and Kalai decide to go to Balu's house and talk to Kirthana. Tilaga and her mom are busy wringing their hands (romba naaLaa kaiyai clean panna marandhu poyitaanga pola irukku) .

Wednesday Episode No 627 Wednesday

Well well Kirtana gets to know the sordid details of Balu
clan. While Balu goes and cries to Tilaga and Co about
their daughter , the elder son visits his parental home.
Kirtana gets the privilege of opening the door. He comes
in, gets to know his SIL and asks his mom to bring back
his dead wife ( athu sari, unga amma ve is a walking cadaver-
kettuttalumm...) Not just that, he looks at Kirtana and admires
the new goat " aduthathu neeyaa??" He has done his job -
director kudukkara sambalathukku ithuve jasthi nnu feel pannittarO?
- leaves. Meena has to spill now - intha azahana family history
gets narrated. Meena says that her first DIL could not stand the
tortures done by Balu and Karuna " she burnt herself. I wanted to
inform all this to your family and stop the wedding. But ivangalai
meeri enna le oru phone kooda panna mudiyalai. Please forgive me."
Kirtana is stunned for a moment and then asks "any other secrets??"
Meena starts an emotional blackmail "that is all, but do not leave me
alone with these rakshashans . I have an intuition that you will be able to
reform these two.." Kirtana succumbs and says that Meena can
live in peace " it is my job. I take this as a challenge" Meena looks
relieved.

COD and UBS are being served food by Durga. Durga vizhunthu

surprise irukku" Well, Sada comes in a car - present for sonny boy -
except UBS all go for a joy ride - and COD makes a fleeting statement "paarthiya, nee verum shirt thaan vangi kuduthe..my parents have
presented a car" UBS has decided to keep a face with no fly dancing.

Loosu - mooking time - gets Sara aside and starts the sermon " so,
by refusing to marry, you want to needle me??? that I could forget
our love and you could not??" Sara says that it is not his intention -
" I am not ready for marriage as yet, I wont be happy and that poor
girl will suffer too" Loosu mooks big time " if u loose some thing in life ,
u should learn to move on..Thalai le kai vaichi ukkanthaa angeye ukkara vendiyathu thaan!! I want you to move on with life... live happily..."
Sara says that all this is easier said than done - leaves....Loosu has run
out of words and audience for further sermon - well, poor Roja is an exception !!!

Back to COD - Durga feeds sonny boy, asks him about breakfast -
Sonny says that he ate dosai with milaga podi "apram some wheat

for my hubby but u made him change that !!!" COD says that his mommy
asked him to change because it was black - now UBS prooves that she
is totally unbaked "why ?/ black nna asingamaa?? unga appa kooda-
thaan black dye hair kku adikkaraar..athai stop panna vendiyathu thaane??" ( ayyo ayyo, enna sense of proportion unakku??? mOttai
thalai kkum muzhangaalukkum mudichu??? Incidentally Sada thalai
paathi mOttai !!!) Well , the dining hall is "veppam 1000 degrees" Durga temperature mattum 10000 degrees C - Priya, long week end nnu Odittinga...hmmm paavam Roja

Thursday Episode No 628 26/11/07

Aha ha UBS does a "Mariaamma Kaali amma dance" - finds fault
with MIL that she never welcomed her and goes on to comment on
Sada dyeing his sparse hair black - Sada's hand automatically reach
his head , Durga is stunned COD is angry ( vanthuttalum..) UBS goes
on - " periya kodeeswara kudumbam, B'da y kku car??? All this money
was earned by my husband and u act as if u spent your own money???
I know the underlying reason.." Durga says that they wanted COD
and his family to have some transportation comfort -" vera enna ul nokkam??" UBS says " aaww, na varum pothu onnum kondu varalai
nnu kuthi kaatareenga??" Now Durga is puzzled - " well that part is
true... u did come empty handed??? " UBS is livid - COD is very angry ,
tells his wife that she is jumping "aagayathukkum bhoomikkum" like a Rakshashi - "che , na konjam santhoshama iruntha unakku aagathe...." UBS shouts at every one, washes her hands, snatches her son and
leaves. Sada runs behind her, asking her to eat..both COD and Durga are not bothered.

Balu after complaining to the parents, brings them along - Athai and
Kalai come to advise Kirtana - Balu looks morose and beams at the
same time - "paarthiyaa parthiyaaa, unnai epdi threaten panren??
Epdi yen samarthiyam" Kirtana is summoned - athai confronts her
" unakku buthi solli thaane anuppinOm...ippO" Kirtana just stares at
athai , walks past her and goes straight to Balu - falls at his feet and
says "maama, please forgive me. I should not have said those things..
after u left athai told me all your arumai perumais...I will never disobey you...ever...." Meena looks perplexed - Balu does not know what hit
him. Athai is happy - tells Balu that Kirtana is his daughter "after she married your son, she is your responsibility. You have every right to
scold /correct her. Summa enga kitte vanthu complain pannina...avvalavu nalla illai..." Kirtana assures athai that she will take care of her FIL's BP - Athai and Kalai leave, Kirtana has a smug smile "from now on, veliye solla mudiyatha padi Aappu vaikkaren...wait and see..."

Athai and Kalai are walking - Kalai is bent upon going to Lachu's
house - "can not tolerate Megs suffering, I have to pacify Viswa and
Co and make this marriage happen!!" Athai says that she consulted an astrologer for Megs - "ella grahamum wrong place le ukkarnthu irukkam - however much you try...can not get her married " Kalai is adamant but
athai manages to coax him - takes him home.

Megs and Subha - back from the looting trip. Megs plays envoy for
maniac. "he is busy, athaan varalai..do not mistake him, ok??" Subha
does some gushing about maniac and Megs for her part sings maniac ashtothram. As she is about to leave Subha's parents call her ( athuvum
set up thaan !!) After some cursory exchanges, Subha passes the phone
to Megs who assures them that their daughter managed to catch a
puliyan kombu - "Anbu sir mathiri oru SIL..blah blah...." For their part the parents say that maniac bought gifts for the whole family on Subha's
B'day. So the "maniac loves Subha like crazy establishing" happens - successfully. Megs leaves - Subha has a victorious smile...

Friday Episode No 629 27/11/09

Maniac goes back to the same detective agency - same guy Ram -
well , maniac wants to find out the "aadhi and andham " of Subha.
Ram has an easy solution - " simple, my dear Watson, just lodge
a police complaint . Ask them to find out all about this girl who claims
to be your GF /would be wife!!! " Maniac says that he can not go to the
police "konjam sikkal, athaan unga kitte.... you did say that you would
take up genuine case , will pay you any amount" Ram reminds maniac
that history repeats itself -" u said the same thing then and u say the
same now !!! I am not a gold digger and you are not a good man..."
Maniac shouts and says that there are a lot of fish in the sea. Ram
says that he will make sure that none of the fish of his sea bite maniac's
bait -" go figure out .." Maniac leaves ( was good to see Ram calling
maniac "bad man" - we better have some one who calls spade a spade - and not in the last episode !!!!)

Megs kalyaana viabhogame - Kalai is worried about the "muthir Kanni"
at home - "Megs kku maniac illai nnu aachu.... Viswa vum no no..so
some other kizhavan available??" Athai says that she will take care
of everything " namba sontha thile ye paarthu, I will fix, ok?" Both Paatti
and Tilaga shiver -"athai paartha aalaa?? hmmm" But Kalai is happy to
hear this. Megs walks in and athai briefs her. Megs says that she is not
interested in marriage . Athai shouts - "nee ipdi nikkarathu hurts my brother!!! So, listen to us" - athai leaves. Paati draws Tilaga aside and
quips "Vadivu is over enthusiastic??!!! Keduthal pannatta pOrum" Kalai
as usual eavesdrops ( yovvv, ithu un sontha veedu, eppo paarthaalum
olinji olinji ninnu kekkare??!!)

Kirtana with Karuna - serves him food, after he eats, she eats in the same plate ( swine flu is prevalent ma, hygiene nnu oru factor irukku !!) - in
short plays the proverbial door mat. Karuna is pleased but his vakra
buthi surfaces - asks Kirtana about her favorite actor, sportsman
etc., etc., Kirtana says that she does not have any such favorites -
Karuna can not believe that and she explains "UBS married a man
of her choice but they are not happy. Megs akka is in love with Viswa
but can not marry him ! So, I took a decision - the only man in my life
will be my hubby and so you are my favorite " Karuna is pleased ,
melts and says " I love you" a few times...Kirtana gives a coy look
( enna mma plan??? Megs mathiri illame ozhunga execute pannu, ok??)
