Update for Wednesday, Nov 4, 2009:

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! The sun is shining, the birds can be seen fluttering in the branches, the flowers are all blooming (all in my imagination!), Danda is sitting on the couch and thinking. Kanmani comes into the room, he asks her where Bhupathy is and wants to speak with him. She tells him that he is resting , he says he wants to ask him why he is drinking again. He overrides her protests and calls out to Bhupathy, who comes out and says he just happened to drink yesterday. Danda warns him not to repeat and leaves. Kanmani tells B she wants to speak to him privately (on the terrace).

Kanmani asks B repeatedly what the problem is, but he insists there is no problem. She tells him she knows he was not drinking yesterday, but was pretending to be drunk, he insists that he was drunk and that it won't happen again.

Anbu, Kalai, Tilaga, Samy and Sezhi at the hospital. Various tests are run on Kalai, then the doctor examines him and comes out. He says that Kalai has suffered injuries to his head, which is why he has suffered nerve damage. He may or may not regain his memory, but if he is exposed to various incidents from his past, he may regain it fully. Tilaga keeps asking when he will regain his memory, the doctor tells her he cannot specify a date. He prescribes some medicines to be taken by Kalai.

Suresh has come to see Viswa. Lachu tells S that V's wedding is being arranged with a girl from a good family, S says that he is happy to hear that. Then he says that he knows the girl's family. Lachu wants him to tell the family about V having been in jail, he says that he has already told them all about that, and they did not have any objections (how could he have done that when he didn't even know about the wedding until Lachu told him? Naan oru idiot, indha serial-le poi questions kekkareney!) Suresh says he will talk to the girl's family about the arrangements.

The phone rings and Kirthana picks it up. Kanmani is calling and she wants to know how the new couple is doing. Kirthana hems and haws, then Kanmani wants to know when they will come to her house for lunch. Kirthana says that it is better if Bhupathy and kanmani come in person to invite them, because they will not like it otherwise. Balu is listening to all this as he comes into the room.

Thursday -- Priya varen... Hopefully Balu doesn't shoot up my BP by insulting his DIL.....

Keerthana continues saying to Kanmani that please come and invite us for virundhu directly…Loosu says no worries that me & moron will come immideately to invite you…hearing this keerthana disconnects the phone and just goes off… didn't see Balu coming in…Balu just talks to himself saying that this morning we hinted no one is there to invite for virundhu and so now you are caling everyone and then asking them to invite for virundhu ha??

Balu calls meeankshi and she comes running and asks him what.. again this idiot 🤢(Balu) yells her why running… (Roja, keep a name for Balu & Karuna)…Now Balu's time to order his wife saying cook 4 types of veg, payasam etc… and says some important persons are going to come home… after meen's left he says to himself wait and see how to keep virundhu……….

Maniac and samy are sitting… kalai is sitting and Tilaga comes and gives coffee to everyone…Now Patti's turn to ask why dr said like this… Tilaga says that he gave prescription and said that he might get back his memories…Now vadivu athai comes and enna kootam inge… then again update given by sezhian about th e dr visit… Vadivu gets upset hearing about dr said… and starts screaming.. no one has to take care, I can do for my thambi kalai arasu and says she got an appt with a big dr in the city who does all kinds of treatments including shock treatment… and tell her bro that he willg et back his memories… Kalai keeps saying I will be like this , I don't need any treatment… Maniac with thirrtu mozhi leaves with samy after vadivu takes her bro inside the room.. everyone's face is shown clearly and in closeup…megs is missing in the screen…….

Balu's home… BP started to GO UP

Kanmani & Bhoo comes and Kanmani calls mama.. and balu with all fake expressions invite them iniside…and screams calling everyone Karuna, kirtana, meenakshi… as usual orders Meenakshi to give juice, then sweet…then saying lunch also…enna manushan da ivan… Gives juice and doesn't allow them to drink..but gives sweet.. then immediately takes them to have lunch… kadisyl juice/sweet sappita vazhi illai…makes bhoo & kanmani to sit and meenakshi starts serving…Kanmani vaya moodindu sappida koodathu… starts saying kirtana ormba marrita.. before marriage Kirtana is the first ot eat .. Kirt face is changing…. Meenakshi is giving a scary starring look….Kanu says that poor kirt… pasi thanga matta.. kalyanam has changed her a lot… Finally they finish eating and comes back.. now balu says give beeda…then moron starts saying that we have come to invite for virundhu but you gave us virundhu… balu says that we have rice, dhal everyting at our home…. Boo & loosumani gives a starring look..

Again BP folks….

Balu Idiot continues syaing we have all grocieries… we will feed anyone comes home and also give beeda and also give petrol conveyence too.. Boo patiently says we came to invite the couple for virundhu…and Balu says that we gave virundhu for u both.. are you going to do anytihng differently by making gold rice and man kari… he goes to the cheap extent folks… I can't really tolerate these….anyhow boo asks patiently why r u doing like this? And asks karuna nee padichavan thane.. why are you not asking ur dad? And idiot karuna says to boo you stop as I know ur vanddavlama… Balu says we know everything about you & your family… your vadivu athai told everything… finaly Kanmani says I wish boo is old boo that way you would have got it back… and Karuna idiot enna periusa panniduve… Kanumani stops boo and boo says lets go kannumani… I am going quiet just because we have given kirtana to your place and walks out… Kirtana gives a shit look to Balu & karuna and just starres and cries and gives another starring look.. Freeze……

I just hope that Kirtana starts using her brain instead just proving that she is gene from Tilaga clan.....

Wednesday - producers and directors, remember, eljay does not like to talk about spousal abuse or DIL abuse.

Update for Wednesday, Nov 11, 2009:

Sara is sorting thru his papers. Bhupathy asks him if everything is ready and he has his appointment order, and Sara looks blank, so B goes to get it for him. Kanmani asks if his suitcase is packed, and his mother answers in an indifferent way, so she goes to pack it. (I guess this is how they baby the guys in India - I am living with one such person myself!) She doesn't seem to be too good at packing, she stuffs the shirts till she spots a green shirt - Time for a flashback - Sara wants that he and K should wear the same color and asks her what color she is going to wear to her sister's wedding and she says "green pattu", so he comes in a green shirt, to see Bhupathy tying the thali around her neck. She sheds a couple of tears, B comes in, sees her, asks her what the matter is, and she says she got kari in her eye (avanga veetilie kari aduppu thaan irukku) and goes out.

Anbu is all excited and combs his hair over and over again, bothers Samy, asking him if Megala will accept him, and Samy tells him to go brush his hair and not to bother him.

Megala is getting ready to leave, Thilaga is concerned about Kirthana, Patti joins in, they wonder if she is happy and should Kalai be told about this, and the ever-wise Megala says No, let us not worry appa, we can discuss this and solve it ourselves (like we have solved all other problems all these days!), and T and P agree (three idiots thinking they are smart!). Megs leaves for Anbu's place - in a red sari.

Sara leaves, and the whole family comes and sheds tears to see him leave. His mother sheds a few, then asks him to eat well and write regularly, then Kanmani cheerfully bids him goodbye, Danda and Angu wish him luck and he leaves, waving till the car turns and he is out of sight.

Megala arrives at Anbu's house in a blue sari - she probably changed in the auto! She asks Anbu if his lover has arrived, he says Yes, so she runs into the house, calling Madam, Madam ... No madam anywhere, then she runs upstairs, and looks through all the rooms, except one where the door is closed. She doesn't find Madam anywhere, so she asks Anbu and he says that she is upstairs, then he goes up and asks her to go into the closed room. She goes in and calls, again she does not find anyone, so she asks Anbu, and he points her to the mirror, and she stares at her reflection in shock!

Priya, it looks like you are out of luck and there will be some scenes with Kirthana and Balu tomorrow! My sympathies are with you.

Thursday - Perumale... last week en wish poorthi pannalai.. intha weekathu oru nice episode kodungalen... Last thursday headache start aanathu due to balu & karuna torcher hasn't gone yet for me... so please show some karunai on me and no balu&karuna..........

Megs asks Maniac about his lover…. And maniac smiles and shows the mirror saying look there…. Megs with shocking look.. while maniac still looks at megs with a smile (which always irritates us…)… megs with all shock/surprise kind of look…. Megs says sir… and maniac says without you I can't live… and says Megs I love you…. Maniac says that only he knows about his thavippu without telling outside…Maniac now creates a self pity situation….saying only my name has anbu but in reality not seen any love & affection… everyone just called me anbu and got what they wanted…. Perumale.. innum theriyalai whether it is real or dream…. Anbu now narrates his flashbac k in life.. (folks only by words and not any more scenes..) saying that he lost his parents..etc… and only when anbu got megs photo then he got all his luck in life…. Maniac continues saying that first time he saw megs photo/megs that he wanted to cry out loud holding megs hands… too much of icing folks… I am pretty irritated….. Megs still saying sir.. neenga… now megs going to say anbu …. With lots of love in her eyes;) and maniac holds her cheek…and now megs saying that how can you think that I will go rejecting you…. And that too you are saying that you will die for my(megs) sake… megs still continues… saying I don't want to reject you as you love me & my family …. Also continues saying that she also loves maniac…megs continues saying I will give my heart fully to you and please take me…….
Anbu holding the window… saying MEGALA..> MEGALA… and then saying I LOVE YOU… … THANK GOD FOLKS… AS WE EXPECTED IT's ALL DREAM………. Anbu gets a call in his mobile….it is megs… saying that wait at your old house.. I will come there in 30 mins.. There is some surprise for you………… Maniac is all upset saying what is it.. I asked her to come to new house but she is saying some surprise.. what can it be……….

Kirtana comes and tells her MIL(who is cutting spinach) that she wants to go and see her mom and saying that she will go and come back… MIL now says otherwise Karuna will create any trouble…Kirtana brilliantly questions that you are elder in this house.. why are you asking me to look for Karuna & tell him… while they were discussing the irritating guy in the house Balu comes and asks what is that both DIL & MIL talking??? MIL vai illa poochi says they are talking about spinach…Balu says talk only about the veg and cooking.. and don't try to do any more sathi …. And then Karuna joins… asks why everyone is in the backyard while the front door is left opened…. Balu says he has a surprise for Kirtana & karuna.. and gives ticket to go to a movie for 1st show… Karuna says come Kirtana lets go.. Kirtana is standing without any expression…Karuna now q Kirtana saying come lets go… Kirtana says how can you order me.. you should first ask me whether I am interested in going to movie.. how can your father decide which movie /what movie we should go… Karuna now says without coming why are you q like this… our job is to go and watch movie only… Balu says don't answer all the q that your wife asks and that will become practice.. Since kirtana has studied a lot she doesn't like tamil movie.. may be she will go only for english movie… karuna brilliantly asks these 2 tickets are wasted now.. Balu says why waste.. let both of us go saying that they both go and karuna tells his mom that cook chicken fry as we iwill come tired after watching movie and you both eat the spinach…Kirtana stares and her MIL paava patta janmam just opens and closes her hand…

Looks like BOO is into the share market… Some guy talking about share market and saying invest in it… A lady goes in the auto and sees boo and asks the auto driver to stop the auto…That lady says do you remember me?? I was the one in police station .. so flash back goes about sara talking to that lady and how Sara planned to stop his marriage…This lady goes on saying that sara is still thinking of his lover and he is in deep love with that lover… so he doesn't want to get married …Lady goes on saying that he gave Rs 3000 to tell this and also told that Sara told that this 3000 Rupees also he got from his lover's hand… boo's flashback of Loosumani taking money from boo's wallet and giving it to sara… That lady's job is over saying that probably his lover is one of your relatives only…. Lady says manasu ketkama than solla vandhen.. Boo is in deep thinking…….
