I know I have not been active for a few days, and I think a lot of us are done with the show after Monday's episode. I personally avoided coming to forum because I just wanted to rant, and honestly the amount of negativity everywhere scared me, and I realized I would be doing nothing much, but add up to the hate. I am not watching the episodes,but just following the insta clips and updates, and honestly, I don't know what the makers are doing. Do they not realize that people are mostly watching for Meet2? And they are hell bent on ruining the one thing that works for the show
Anyways, I promised I won't add onto the frustration, but here is the only thing that I'm looking forward too, and that's a separation. Maybe not physically but emotionally, but I feel the couple needs it the most. For once, I want MA to have the option of going back to both the ladies, and he makes his choice, cz honestly none of us can tell no more.
Here, are my reasons why I feel everything is topping up for a huge climax or a massive breakdown
1) MH being constantly reminded that now she is married, and her primary focus should be her husband and her in-laws. Her being forced to give up her responsibilities for her family, which is something she can never adhere to. She is the 'man' of her house, and even after marriage she always had her priorities set. She is a great wife and DIL, but her first priority has always been about being a great daughter.
2) why wasn't MA able to share his turmoil with her? Do you think getting MH physically hurt was just an uncontemplated scene? I don't. I feel they either want to create a situation where MH loses her faith on MA ( which is basically everything she wants in a relationship) or her to realize that she should give up the relationship.Why is she in a relationship with MA? It is definitely not love, but a sense of responsibility towards him. If she realizes that it's her sister that he needs, she will leave. Atleast, right now it is her marriage that is stopping her from being there for her own family.
3) Sunaina-MH's conversation about self-respect and love wasn't futile after all. It repulsed MH to see a girl being questioned about her chastity. (and honestly I realize the toxicity of the concept but I will be a hypocrite if I say this doesn't happen. Ok, yes the topic has been extremely dramatized and Sunaina's situation isn't a common one. Humara yaha jab arrange marriages hota hain both the families try to find out about the prospective match from their neighbors, friends and relatives. The girl's character usually comes under massive scrutiny. You think when your relatives are trying to find about the girl and her family, it is about her food preferences or her knowledge about mutual funds? No! It's about her character and about her chastity. Ha koyi doctor k paas pakar kar nahi le jata hain par sadly, sawaal indirectly uthtey zaroor hain. If they are trying to address that, then it is great) what I wanted to say is if that self-respect vs love conversation was a premonition for the upcoming track why can't the 'wool' conversation be the same? Even though Ravi-Sunaina-Tej's situation is very different from Manushi-Meet-Meet's situation (I can make a whole diff post about it but honestly not in the right mood for that now). MH supported 'love' in that conversation. So, if somehow she comes to this conclusion that she is being the 'Ravi' in this equation, then she will definitely leave. Warna Sunaina k second marriage wala drama Kiya kyun? She isn't even an important character jitna use importance diya geya hain iss track se so it definitely has something to do with the leads.
So, Kuch toh bara Hoga aga. Ya toh separation, ya phir kuch aur. But be prepared, as till the Lodhi episode there will be lots of unwanted drama, gallons of majnupana k dohra, and very few Meet2 scenes.
P.S-I don't know who needs to hear this,but here it comes. I get agitated with people who complain about Malini/Jasmine/Pakhi's character and want this character to leave the show or atleast get less screen space. It is not possible. You knew what you were signing up for from the first promo. They are also the main protagonist/antagonist of the show, so you have to see them till the end. But here the premise isn't the same. Jo log bhi thoda bohot tolerate kar rahe hain. They will also leave by the end of Jan or at best, by the mid of Feb as they are not getting what they were promised. So, play your game carefully writers. Jo raita felaya hain woh sameto. Mera hisaab se only a separation track can salvage it, but I am not a writer, and I have heard so much about these writers, so I hope they know what they are doing.
I promised I'm not going to be negative in this post. But it seems like it is not a very positive post either. But my last few words might uplift the post, so bear with me.
Even though I wasn't a BB fan cz as I said Kuch hojata hain Mera dimaag mein baccho ko sindur mangalsutra mein dekh ke. So, I could never watch it properly, but I did watch a few tracks. Saudamini played by Pranali was a powerful vamp, especially Pranali was great in her role. But I just couldn't watch anymore, when she literally started waging a war to win back Anirudh against a kid. The drama became unbearable when she she was ready to even kill Bondita. Like stop! She is a kid! And in that track, we lost our Saurabhš. Aur phir inhone Bondita ki innocent behen ko villain bana diya aur Kakasasur ko toh Babita jaisi hypocrite.
Now, if I come to talk about the most practical and loved show of ITV 'Yudkbh'. Even that show didn't do justice to a few tracks. Samaina's marriage has to be one of them. Sab villain ban gaya sivaya the friends gang, and chacha Chachi. Honestly, typical ITV vamp uss show main sirf Sameer ki Dadi thi isse pehla, but phir inhona Mama-Mami aur Tauji-Taiji ko bhi nahi baksha. Yes, these characters always had their flaws, but grey se sidha negative banana zaroori nahi tha. And it aired on Sony?!!! Sony which is currently serving the least toxic ITV drama. Infact, if I took a sip of alcohol every time I saw Naina and her family getting insulted during their wedding track, I would have become a raging alcoholic by now. Even their HM and the first few months after marriage didn't serve Samaina well. I don't know who enjoyed it, but atleast I couldn't. It was just Sameer & Naina blaming each other for each other's failures. Sameer telling Naina how she is middle-class, has no sense of fashion, and takes no responsibility towards grooming the house, and Naina calling upon his bs. They even started regretting their marriage, and their respective parents had to step-in to knock some sense in their mind. Was it practical? Yes, it showed Pyaar jitna bhi gehra ho Shaadi ki side effects se koyi nahi baach saktaš¤£. Was it painful? Yes, because we as audience have seen them fight bigger problems with greater understanding. Tabh toh communication hi band ho gaya tha dono leads mein. Sameer Jo problems face kar raha tha woh Naina ko nahi Bata raha tha, Ulta uska frustration Naina pe utar raha tha.
I used these two examples, because a lot of us are familiar with these two shows, and are also die-hards fans of these shows. Fans abh hain jab show khatam hogaya hain par jab woh sab tracks chal raha tha tabh I'm sure most of us didn't enjoy it.
So disgusting/uncomfortable tracks and sudden change in character arcs is nothing new. So, hopefully this track will end soon, because as I said ending se pehla hi bohot drama hota hain aur abhi bohot zyada drama horaha hain. Meety ki sabr ka bahan tootey ga aur woh bhi Lohdi mein hi hoga.
