Priyanka is definitely a weak leader. She is a very good chef but it seems like she wants to do everything herself while she should be doing supervising work mostly. It kind of looks like she doesn't trust others with the dishes toh sab kuch khud karne jati hai and forgets the big picture. Moreover they have choosen too many elements like each dish takes lots and lots of time. The starter itself took so much of their time

Aruna was smart both in the choice of team and dividing the work among different members. They were all given work according to their strengths so that they could handle most of things on their own and she just looked after the overall execution and helping everyone here and there. Though it looks like there will be some panic because Nainjyoti seems a bit lost and behind time. Really hope the team wins as it deserves to

It gives way too much importance to innovation, techniques, presentation and food eaten outside India jo real world setting mein nahi fit hota. Mostly the kind of food usually served only in 5 star restaurants and that would cost a fortune for normal people. For normal middle class conventional chefs its a tough competition. Most of the chefs here kind of seem trained to me. I am not telling home cooks won't know different cuisines but these contestents seem to know too much. Or probably I am too oblivious to the different cuisines. I didn't know names of most of the dishes they planned yesterday for Italian meal😆 Italian bologe toh mujhe bass pizza pasta yaad aata hai and probably a couple of more dishes. But contests know about the food as well as the technique to make it and all.

I don't know if I made any sense😆 Probably I am not able put it in words

Tbh, by the way the Green team was talking about Italian cuisine, many of these people seem to be people who eat fancy stuff or have learnt fancy techniques from workshops/internet without thinking anything beyond.

Of course, food is about techniques, textures, flavours but there is also a social, historical and even geographical aspect to food. For example, confit is a technique to preserve meat, it needs to be slow-cooked for a looooong time. Italian food is not meat-heavy and making it vegan is not an "innovation." A simple aglio olio is also a 'vegan' Italian dish lol. The only one who doesn't take himself too seriously is Gurkeerat, and I love him.

The only people who actually think about food in it macroscopic role are Aruna, Avinash, Shanta, Deepa, and Vineet. And even Gurkeerat somewhat. I can't wait for all of them shine. If Avinash is still in the show and is reading the reviews then he should trust his agro-tech background and go full in with Odia cuisine.

Vineet is the unsung dark horse of this season tbh.

Weren't the portions of all dishes too small? Even overall the whole 4-course meal of both the teams seemed too less for a lunch or something? Sab ittu ittu sa tha. Red team ka toh main course bhi bite sized tha. I eat more starter than their main course adha pet bhi nahi bharega itne mein and whats with serving only one plate to the judges? Already portions were so small and they had to share it too

Green team was just all over the place. It was like jo bhi hath mein aaya voh kaam karlo. No coordination at all. In the coffee course there seemed to be some miscommunication. I kind of didn't like how Priyanka was saying I shouldn't have trusted them and all. She really isn't behaving like a leader. She is more like they ruined her dish. A bit disappointed with her.

Red team seemed well coordinated. Except there seemed to be too much pressure on Nainjyoti. When Aruna was continuously asking him ready hua ki nahi I thought he will get angry but teh poor guy was almost on the verge of tears ki kahi uske wajah se khana kharab na hojaye😆 They actually worked like a unit helping each other out❤️ But I expected a better coffee course from them. For such a good team, it seemed too bland

Oh my god a random black coffee in a shots glass was so annoying. The least they could do was put it in an espresso cup. And why was Priyanka ranting about bombolinis? The course was about coffee. It didn't even require much. Both the teams could have played with chocolate-coffee combo. Make something sweet with chocolate and make the bitterness of coffee balance it. Wish they had put some thought into experimenting with coffee varieties. Like a cake of green coffee or something.

Glad red team won the challenge they had balance in everything beside that bland coffee but Aruna did great job on supervising team. Looking at the precap Dyuti seems to eliminated.

Wow!! That would be unexpected. I honestly didn’t think she’d be eliminated before Priya and Yashu.

I know I’m quick at judging Priya and Yashu :(

I am just guessing looking like something and she was scared and she didn't have her plate when chef Ranveer so from that I am guessing it.

I honestly feel if someone has restrictions over what they eat, they shouldn't participate in a show like MasterChef. I just don't get this, how can you not taste your food before serving on a competition like this? I was absolutely bewildered when Aruna said she can't taste the dessert since she doesn't eat egg. It's a team challenge so she can ask someone to taste on her behalf but what if it's an independent challenge? Even Gurkirat didn't want to do fish since he doesn't eat in the immunity pin challenge. These are basics. Even Suvarna didn't taste her food in the immunity pin challenge. No one is telling them to eat the whole thing but how do you check the seasoning of something like meat which is so sensitive in nature and can be easily be overpowered by too much spices if you aren't tasting the food? 😕

In a country like India there will be several people who won’t taste a dish that has meat/seafood or eggs. And then some are allergic to certain ingredients.

I remember there was one season of Masterchef where only vegetarian food was cooked.
I think they should have an all vegetarian season every alternate season, considering a huge chunk of our population doesn’t eat meat.

Hats off to contestants who can cook such good food without tasting it. I wouldn’t be so confident
