Masterchef australia is a show that is a class apart...no other show can match up to it (for me atleast!!) no unnecessary melodrama, focus purely on cooking...the dishes made are of high quality...and I absolutely adore Gary,George and Matt😳

I agree about the desserts point...they harldy make desserts...the only person who has made desserts is shezaad and i think dolcee also made some halwa...
Aslo i dont like the contestants in the masterchef background talking about how their feelings the clips are a bit too long...it takes up to much time and i would rather see them cooking.
Presentation also needs to be given importance and i think its happend once when chef ajay showed jyoti and joseph when the paired up on how the should have presented it.

Also i want to know how they make things in the task for example the layered mousse shezaad made in todays epi...i wish there was a site we could find recipies for the dishes they make. i know the UK version has site where you can get the recipies.

The funny thing is if you read Australian blogs then they think masterchef Australia is very emotional and lacking substance 😆 but it is definitely much better than Masterchef USA.

lol...I hvnt read any Australian blogs, however, melodramatic Masterchef Australia maybe for their countrymen,it is not even .00001% of our reality shows...where sob stories are played out in each and every episode...I have given up watching all singing, dancing reality shows precisely for this reason...anyway,I don't get what Australians find so emotional in Aussie masterchef, since the show focuses exclusively on the task of the day...these people should watch some of our daily soaps...their definition of lacking substance will get a whole new meaning 😆

Masterchef Usa is very boring...gave up watching after the first episode...

P.S. love your username...so unique !!

For me it was definitely a revelation as well because I also never thought of masterchef Australia as emotional but when I read the recaps online by sydney herald I was blown away by the complaints.

People thought Dani was annoying, overexcited and she shrieked too much. There were also complaints of too much weeping; too much talk about families, too much drama in the kitchen and they thought food had taken a backseat which is our grievance as well. 😃

Too each their own I suppose.

My favourite Masterchef is the one from UK. I loved the version that ran in 90s I think. Nothing was classier than that. And then they changed the format to the current one (which the rest of the countries copied) and even in the newer version the camera would show contestants walking up from the street to do the cooking (at least in the last one I watched. God knows what they're upto in the latest versions). Nowadays they trap them in houses and make them weep because that's what the audiences like. More drama!! 🤢

Thanks about the username!☺️

^^ I actually found Dani to be cute 😊 ...but I did feel that the judges were biased towards Kate from early on in the competition...this was quite apparent and maybe that's why people didnt like this season so much...I was almost sure Kate would end up winning the series when Peter was eliminated in the pressure test...anyway,Masterchef Australia is still my favourite😊

and wow, I didnt know that Masterchef Uk was such a long running programme!! but what's with trapping contestants in houses and making them weep?? lagta hain sab jagah TRP ka hi bol bala hain!!😆
