She and her family are the biggest opportunist and selfish human beings. That Bapu judging Sakhi when her own widow daughter continuing affair without telling her in laws. He himself tells daughter to hide these things means he knows whatever they are doing is wrong. Right things never needs to be hidden. Dholi herself said no so Sakhi came into the picture but this selfish Dholi who was showing so much attitude suddenly said yes such an selfish woman. First used Abhya to be a star in village as before Abhya marriage she was dust khota sikha in the eyes of not only village but even her parents . Once she got stardom in village being Abhya wife now playing with that Deva. Such a hypocrite 😡😡😡

Shame on Bāpū for saying that if Sakhi had been his daughter, he wouldn't have given her so much freedom!

Has Bāpū forgotten how Latika went on a date with Sajjan when everyone thought they would get married? How Bāpū's chest hurt when the Kokate family walked out of the wedding?

Latika spent months in Abhimanyu's bedroom, knowing that the marriage would fail and she would be sent home in disgrace. Like Latika, Sakhi is trying to please her elders, not abusing freedom. Sakhi is only going out with Devavrat because she believes their marriage is being arranged.

Bāpū once told his daughter that she didn't have to stay where she wasn't wanted. He felt hurt that Latika sacrificed her self-respect for his sake. Now Bāpū is part of a conspiracy to deny Sakhi the truth that she's not wanted, and instead of feeling shame, he's criticizing her chaperones as if they lack self-respect.

Has Bāpū forgotten how it felt to watch Abhimanyu hugging Nandini as she rode his motorcycle? Sure, Bāpū did his best to deny freedom to Latika, but that didn't stop Latika from dancing with Abhimanyu at the Maṅgaḷā-Gaura, speaking in support of Abhimanyu when his face was blackened, or leaving home to support Abhimanyu in the race. Bāpū should know that those were real public spectacles, not whatever Sakhi is doing with her parents' and chaperones' approval.

Has Bāpū forgotten the time his innocent daughter came home drunk, and the neighbours didn't find out, thanks to an honourable man?

Let's not forget that Bāpū's son-in-law was falsely accused of attempted rape. Now Bāpū is allowing his future son-in-law to deceive another woman just before the marriage.

I find Tulsa akka's character very confusing. Now she is saying that she didn't like when Abhya married that Latika. If this was true, then why she was showing fake love for her when she arrived in the village? she was referring Latika as 'My Latika, My darling, My dearest Daughter in law etc. she was saying Hema that we should help her by sharing her responsibilities. But Dusrya diwashi ti Latikala job sodayala sangte. kaaay challeley kaay he?

In the real world, it is usually men who feel that being refused, dumped, or betrayed entitles them to punish women with disfigurement (acid attacks, nose-cutting etc.) or murder.

Society needs to outgrow that attitude, not expand it to castration for men who deceive women.

Devavrat, Vidya, Latika, Bāpū, and Surekha deserve to be censured, but what they did is probably not serious enough for a fraud lawsuit, let alone corporal punishment.

Tulasa is a hypocritical conservative autocrat. She criticizes constantly for the sake of exerting power, not because she believes in anything.

Tulasa's self-worth depends on bossing her brother's daughters-in-law, so she opposes anything that lets Latika out of her sight, even the job that brings in the family's only steady income. When the academy was being inaugurated, Tulasa was full of pride as if it ever had her blessing.

Tulasa doesn't have favourites. When Hema is lazy or Sakhi does as she pleases, Tulasa holds up Latika as an ideal. When Latika misbehaves, Tulasa calls her a disgrace to Abhya and Indu.

so this pathetic couple and their immediate family members, had the audacity to fix the marriage date in her husband's house, with the backdrop of the late husband. Neither the house owner Appa, now the other member (Hema, Ashu, Akka ) are visible, means these people snatched the house from the owners and barged right in ??

Such lowly disgusting creatures this Dholi and her group is....

I know such men and women. My mum's side and in our Village. They just want to be known as someone with power and a say in every matter.

Also, has Deva still not given his rejection or what?

On Monday's show, Hema said to Appā, we need a plan to meet expenses after Lati leaves, because right now our household runs on Lati's paycheck. Appā's response was to mock Hema for thinking; he told her to stick to the kitchen and not speak about issues that her husband and he will handle.

So, men get to decide how the household is run, and women have to accept and cook whatever they get. What a terribly chauvinistic attitude! This power imbalance is the basis of a lot of domestic abuse. Sundarā Manāmadhe Bharalī shouldn't present it as funny or wise. A character should only express this view if it is to be promptly rebutted.

Hema's work doesn't earn money and she's not very intelligent or hard-working, but she's still an adult member of the household who deserves a say in planning for her own livelihood and her daughter's future.

Ata sajjan alay

So I doubt show eill end anytime soon.

Looks like sakhi and tulza will keep planning obstacles.

Also, hema has a very valid point. She isn't earning, neither is appa nor ashutosh.

So they must find a source of income and not be dependent on anyone outside of the house.

Appa , obviously is a male chauvinist pig
