In any relationship, it isn't healthy to dig up bygones that have been forgiven. Appā forgiving Bāpū does not entitle Appā to misbehave or require Bāpū to forgive him.

When Bāpū doused himself to declare Abhya dead to him, he didn't cause Abhya's death a year later. Bāpū's anger had provocation: his daughter had suffered for months, knowing that her efforts to adapt to Abhya's family were a waste of time, and Abhya would discard her like a defective object, to spend the rest of her life being ridiculed as unfit for marriage. Abhya had betrayed Bāpū's trust and cheapened Bāpū's loan of his life savings by treating it like a dowry. Appā didn't reproach Bāpū (although Indu did!) because Appā wanted Abhya to earn Bāpū's forgiveness and bring Lati home.

In the current situation, Appā has pressured Lati so that Daulat, who recently tried to murder Lati, should be let out of prison. Bāpū has every right to feel angry at someone who wants to endanger his daughter's life. A real friend, let alone someone who claims fatherly feelings for Lati, would not behave like Appā.

Aside from the disagreement over remarriage for Lati, Appā has shoved Bāpū, making him fall down. Appā has allowed Tulasa Akkā to obstruct Lati's freedom of movement and question her morals, set fire to a gift given to Lati, use the insult saṭavī for Suri, insult Bāpū's houseguests ... Appā himself faked illness to make Lati feel guilty. If Appā wants forgiveness, let him change his behaviour first, not simply invite Bāpū to celebrate as if everything is fine.

Anyway, Bāpū agreed to celebrate Raṅga-Pañcamī with Appā in the end.

The writers have eviscerated Appā's booming-voiced, authoritarian, rarely violent, morally upright character by making him sneaky. Tulasa was first mentioned on the show in November 2021 as the sister who didn't visit Appā for umpteen years after he told her not to be mean to Lati, and now Appā lets Tulasa boss him around! It's worse than how they ruined Indu for the second marriage plot point. In contrast, mild-mannered Bāpū's transformation into an implacable tyrant in the summer of 2021 made some sense, as much as I hated the Vaṭa-Paurṇimā spectacle and wished that Bāpū's realization that Lati can make her own decisions would have led to her career in government.

The naūvārī that Latika is wearing to the academy's inauguration is the same one she wore to Rupali's Maṅgaḷā-Gaura in 2021! Same blouse too.

The creative team made Surekha tell us that super-rich Vidya bought this brand-new naūvārī for Latika. Nonsense! According to the timeline, Latika has owned this sāḍī since a year before Abhimanyu died, followed by nine months of pregnancy and a daughter who is now seven years old. That's a nine-year-old sāḍī!

Not only are they cheap, they're insulting the intelligence of viewers who remember an important event in Abhimanyu's courtship of Latika.

The academy's poster juxtaposes two spellings of Abhimanyu's name: correct अभिमन्यु in the title and incorrect अभिमन्यू in the location. The man has been dead seven years, and they can't settle on what his name was? It was a joke when Sajjan used to call him अभिनम्यू, but this is just sloppy.

Will Vikya attend the inauguration? He put in the earliest efforts for Abhimanyu's dream.

How Not To Handle A Bomb Threat

1. Don't call the bomb squad first, or the police to report the hostage-taking of Natha the bomb-maker's wife and son. Wait until after you have tried your busiest friend's phone number repeatedly.

2. When another friend picks up, don't tell her there's a bomb. Insist that you need to talk to someone else.

3. Talk in circles about everything other than the bomb, because that would alarm them, they might evacuate the venue ...

4. Never suspect that the bomb might go off accidentally before you get there to play hero.

Of course, there wouldn't even have been a bomb if Natha (why does he share Bāpū's name?) had just faked it. I'm sure Bimba, Babul, and Mukya couldn't tell the difference between an actual bomb and a harmless timer.

The academy building looks residential, with identical balconies for each of four apartment units. Is that where the kids will train in sports?

While the unheard bomb squad implicitly agreed with Deva that it is better for people to die than panic ...

not only did all of the characters refuse to cooperate with each other to get rid of the bomb or evacuate the crowd ...

... the bomb timer also refused to perform its function!

After counting down from 1:00 to 0:59, four minutes later, it was at 1:09 to 1:08.

A brave extra had to warn the spectators. That man is more of a hero than Deva!

The apartment building - oops, academy! - blew up. Two-and-a-half years of plot progression - oops, digression! - wiped out, just like that!

Adding insult to injury, the lament for Abhya's dream was put into the mouth of Tulasa, who had never cared about it. She uttered an aspṛśya caste-phobic dialogue: Kuṇā cāṇḍāḷācī dṛṣṭa lāgalī? just to rub in the regression.

Will it be all a dream in the next episode?

These buffalo and baby buffalo characters have become so cringe... woman knows it's a bride groom meeting and groom was in love with her , but not only she crashed the party but even tried to outshine the bride....

Latika and Devavrat have decided to be a couple, and the dialogue writers are still determined to douse any spark of romance between them!

Latika couldn't even tell Devavrat that she likes him for his unique self; it came out as "I want a father for my child ... an engineer for the academy ... and a tree-planting partner!" Instead of asking nicely if he would still be interested in marrying her, she complained that he moved on too fast!

When Latika asked Devavrat if he would always love Adhira, because Adhira sincerely loves him and Adhira's feelings are crucial, Devavrat should have replied that the best way to love Adhira is together, as a loving couple. They need to build their own warmth and trust in order to provide security to Adhira. Latika's mixed messages to Adhira, sometimes encouraging her friendship with Deva and then harshly telling her that he has his own life, will need to stop permanently.

Even if Latika someday decides to split from Devavrat, she will have to respect his place as Adhira's father - especially if Adhira's adoration for Deva turns into rebellion as she grows into her own person.

Devavrat shouldn't have told Latika that whether she works and how she spends her earnings aren't his business and he doesn't want to hear about it. Married couples share responsibility for money matters and daily schedules. Devavrat should have promised that both of them together would provide for both her families and his family.

Yes, he said that Vidya, Latika, and Adhira have a right to his money, and Latika's family will be his family, but it sounded as if he has no expectations of Latika while he does all the providing.

If someday Latika is unable to work or chooses to be a full-time caregiver for her aging father and in-laws (please, let Tulasa go live with those children she once claimed to have given birth!), and Devavrat finishes working for free on the academy and walks off his next job due to philosophical differences ... they'll never run out of Vidya's money!
