Celebrated Israeli actor Alon Aboutboul has passed away at the age of 60. The acclaimed performer, whose career spanned over four decades across film, television, and theatre, was found unresponsive on Tuesday at Habonim Beach in northern Israel.

According to Magen David Adom emergency services, Aboutboul collapsed shortly after leaving the water. Despite swift attempts to resuscitate him at the scene, he could not be revived. The news has left the Israeli entertainment industry and his global fans in deep shock.
