100% true. And that continues no matter the age of your child. But one has to be practical and not give in to all of your child's demands.

Selling mangalsutra to buy 1.5 lakh watch is extreme IMO. Its spoiling your child and being irresponsible. They don't have money for basic necessities and she goes ahead and blows off on some watch. That is encouraging your child to be vain.

I agree buyin 1.5 lac watch is stupidity. But asas reaction was natural . She has spoiled him rotten. Soham is very manipulative shameless n knows that he is moms weak point. For asa peoples luv n relationships r more important n knows that money has no value

Yes, Asa's reaction was natural. Yes, money has no value when it comes to relationships. And a mother-child relation trumps all the relations IMO. But Asa's actions were very impulsive for her age and experience and for Somya's age too.

I think, Kh couple will go back to stay with Pradnya, thinking she is better than this useless fellow....

As per the precap, Somya lies and mostly gets the artificial Mangalsutra for Asa and Shubhra smells the rat. Can we expect a showdown at least today? Cause, it's only Shubhra who can show Soham a mirror...

@NM, @dhanu - this serial has larger than life situations right from the beginning. So buying 1.5 Lakhs worth watch by selling old mangalsutra, is one of such many situations happened before. Also every single minor problem in Asa's life is to be looked into and resolved by the one and only AR.

So we're going down the drain again. After a few nice episodes, Soham and his disgusting antiques continue. Buying khota mangalsutra, and if he won't be questioned for his act, i will officially loose interest in this serial.

If she had been a bit strict with her babdya in his childhood he would not have become the crappy lying scum of a man he is today. Asavari deserves whatever she is getting from her son. Sorry about this, but Asavari seems like a spineless coward character.

I wonder why they have not shown Shubhra exploding in anger. Blowing off 1.5 Lakhs for a watch is not something she should have tolerated under any circumstance. She has been projected as a very forthright woman and this was one occasion where she should not have been shown restrained.

Unfortunately I think the CV's will be encouraged by the TRP jump (this week too it tops the TRP charts) and put in more such drama. If this Somya drama continues beyond this week then I will be worried that this sensible serial is getting derailed by chasing TRPs.
