Nothing against QD and I think this issue wasnt raised at all during voting (which was surprising in itself). But aren't Bhaukal, the show with Sharman Joshi and Mona, Undekhi, Maharani the one with Gauhar Khan and Divyendu all Hindi shows?

Like how did the organisers miss it?

We have so many good marathi webshows like samantar, Pet Puran, 9 to 5 etc which could have gone up instead.

Also, how is adding webshows fair to people who went through the efforts of actually searching for Marathi TV shows?

The banner with Sharman Joshi is actually really unique, so it's sad that it's not on theme.

Again, nothing against the creator, but maybe next time organiser(s) can put in a little more effort to atleast check the entries that they meet the basic requirement before putting them up for voting.

And no, just because it's dubbed, it doesn't count, because they weren't written, shot etc in Marathi. Hindi TV industry is already overshadowing Marathi and other languages of India so let's atleast try to get the banner, the representation of the forum right next banner contest, to represent a industry that's being overshadowed but hence been given a space here on this site.

What you have pointed out was very much noticed at the time of banner submission,

The makers were contacted and clarification obtained was very much justified n banners accepted .

Huma Qureshi one is Maharani web series Marathi, and Mona & Sharma one is Kafas web series Marathi. Both are found in Marathi web series section in Sony liv.

Marathi web series images were allowed and it was announced in the BC announcement thread for all Graphicers .

Anything airing on TV on Marathi channels are allowed .
