I really want Gauri to defy him once and back Shiv. How many times does Shiv have to win this man over? At least when it comes to Amma, Shiv is 100% behind Gauri like a rock. When it comes to Baba, Gauri is never 100% behind Shiv...she is always leaning towards Baba.
As a married woman and who had a love marriage, this leaning towards his father (even when he is wrong) than her husband is just plain immature. Shiv sarkha navra asun she does not value him. Kay he sarkha Baba Baba. I feel like telling her- Aga bai ata kukula baal nahi ahes...baba baba karat bastes. Grow up. Back your husband.

Gauri is seriously not appreciating having a hottie and supportive hubbie like Shiv. What was that- Eeek kapde ghal and hiding behind the dabba bag? Come one woman, you are married for 8-9 months now as if you have never seen him shirtless. Any other woman would taken advantage of him 😉 or teased him.

Gauri in Mumbai behaves like a child.

IMO the CVs are bending to public demand of recreating Shauri's Mumbai romance. Logic becomes secondary. That scene where Shiv comes to open the door bare-chested looked pretty silly for a married couple.

Baba na nokri shivay kahihi disat nahie...he only wants her daughter to do a job...this is not done 👎🏼

The T-shirt scene was purely for nostalgia with Shiv's dialogues expressing the ridiculousness of it all. I liked how he said sarcastically "Sab kuch" pehenke aaya.
As PS said, Gauri expects Shiv to support her 100% against his family but doesn't reciprocate when it comes to Baba. I hope she grows up during this track and comes out of this hero worship of her Baba - and sees him for what he is - a principled but very flawed person.

I do believe she is taking baby steps in the right direction. Her refusing to be silent when Baba was bad mouthing Shiv and leaving the room, eating dinner with her husband (but seriously eye roll here). She needs to learn to be defiant and be herself against her dad before she contemplates facing Amma. Ufff Shiv has an uphill battle. But at least we will have Shauri scenes to act as a foil against Baba's crazy behavior.

Oh an afterthought to my previous post:
It's ironic but Gauri already has the perfect father figure in her life - her Babuji 😊

Babuji (right now) is more understanding of her position and respects her as "a human being with her own thoughts and decisions" instead of the "chhoti mazhi pari ga" image Baba has.

They seem to have reached such a nice place in their relationship where both of them can honestly share their opinions and feelings with each other, that's truly rare and prized in a DIL and FIL.

I choose to focus on these positive aspects and ignore the ignoramus Baba :)
