Wonder how Gauri can be so confident of handling Amma when she is so hesitant in handling Baba. Amma is ten times more dangerous than Baba (and she knows it, doesn't she?).
BTW, with Suruchi and Vanni defending the present situation in the story and others criticizing it, I happen to be in both camps as I find it a bit silly but I continue to enjoy it without reservation.

Kamal kaka - yeah that's strange indeed. Probably due to 20+ years of brainwashing Gauri is unable to muster the courage to openly oppose her father.

PS, basanti, KDPfan... Cannot agree with you!! Gauri idolizes Baba...so much so that she almost left LOVE of her life, till he finally found out (courtesy Aaji!!) She's progressed enough that she's defying Baba, though not openly!! She's supporting Shiv as promised!! N as the ZM app precap, also enjoying the tussle between the two ppl she loves the most!! She has full faith in what Shiv's trying to do n also that Baba will come around!! She has explained her side to Venu... How can she go against her Baba, who has picked the fight for his daughter's swabhimaan, not withstanding his disrespect by Shukls!! Don't forget... Shiv has not tried to clear his side to Baba or asked his forgiveness for leaving his daughter's side (the main reason for Baba ...intervening!!) Also, Babuji after realising Baba's concern should have talked to him!!

Today's episode also showing this. Good thing is this tussle between Shiv and Baba is being treated in a jocular and light hearted manner and neither Baba nor Shiv are taking any tension.
Precap shows Shiv suggesting to Gauri that they will be following the same earlier routine for their jobs together. Time to forget logic about how Shiv and Gauri can switch their job locations at the drop of a hat and enjoy the light hearted takeoff on their earlier tense romance during the initial episodes.

I cant understand the need of such episode as of today. When what is required is clearing misunderstandings. The shiv gauri relationship is a serious one.not such ridiculous one. Will baba decide whether gauri should go to benaras or not?
