Amma going into rehab mode will take some time IMO. That will be towards the very end of serial. Without going via the typical says bahu saga I think CVS will have ways of showing Amma's discontent and and hatred .

Sayali looks very beautiful in the normal maharashtra in saree. She should be also given some different hair style I feel. That bun she wears looks very typical and boring. Sayali has nice thick hair they should present her different manner in gol saree. Wonder dokya var padar gheun hi job la kashi janaar??

Yeah, Gauri looks beautiful in the pink Saree. It does not seem like a cotton saree though.

Yeah! I forgot to give my daily dose of positivity! 😆
So here we go... Baghat rahu KDP.
And I genuinely feel that I (we) should continue watching KDP because so far it is a sincere effort by the CV's and director to keep the situation interesting and fast moving.

More than ever, I'm angry at Shiv. For making that stupid promise to Ammaji and staying in Banaras. He knows, his Mom's nature and should have never agreed to it.

@Red, Just a few seconds scene but their eye contact language was just superb (as usual).
@Blue, Gauri is a strong girl (though she may not appear so). Pretty sure she will not break. A few times she may feel a bit upset but I think she came to Benaras with her eyes open and prepared to win Shukl household. She has already won over all of them and only Amma remains.
And I strongly feel it will be Gauri and Gauri alone who will win over Amma and not with the help of Shiv or Dadi.
I still feel that Amma will change much before the end of the serial and not in the last week of the serial. Or rather I wish it happens that way!

Shiv waiting with her saris. Gauri fresh from bath. Shiv wants her to be the original Gauri. Gauri wonders how can she tell him about Amma's dhamki. Finally Gauri says people may not like it. Shiv gives her kasam. Gauri reluctantly accepts the sari. Gauri finally wears that red one. Smiles in the mirror and calls Shuklji. Looks like Shiv's Gauri says Shiv. Shiv wants to put on her earings. AWWW this is what romance is all about. Insists that he puts on her bangles. Looks admiringly at her. Gauri worried about what Amma will say.
Amma, Sarla cribbing in kitchen. Bauji, Ram Chuttan doing kapalbhati in the drawing room. Amma comes out with tea. Gauri comes out with Shiv and Amma stops her looking caustically at her. Asks if Shukl woman will move around in cotton asaris nd with such jewelery. Shiv supporting her. Amma refuses to accept. Shiv tells her about rashes but Amma blabbers on. Bauji supports Shiv. Amma warns her not to bring Muimbai into Benaras. Fires Gauri. Gauri tells that it was because of Munna's kasam that she wore it. Shiv silent and Amma walks off in anger.
Nisha brings tea and pleads but Nachi does not listen. Nachi says it is impossible for her to change. Warns that if she does any hanky panky he will be the worst person. Nisha calls her mom. Complains that Nachi does not believe her. Mom wants her to behave very well with Aaiee baba or use Brahmastra.
Shiv angrily getting ready for office. Gauri pleading with him. Rushes out as Shiv leaves room. Apologizes to Amma saying that Shiv is not listening to her. Amma asks her how can that be.
All sitting for breakfast. Amma taunts about Gauri being in her room while they were in the kitchen. Dadi comes in. Looks surprised at Gauri. Shiv looking worriedly at Dadi's reaction. Gauri wants to change sari but Dadi stops her. Praises that she looks beautiful and nirmal. Dadi does nazar utarna of Gauri. Shauri smiling. Amma looking on angrily.
Gauri in their room. Shiv is back from office. Has has got gajra. He insists he will put on the gajra. Gauri says Amma is not talking to her. Wants him to talk to her. Lovely moments... and Sarla nemki tapkte! Looks at gajra and complains that her husband never thinks of such things. Both a bit embarrassed. Shiv walks off. Sarla asks Gauri how she does this jadoo. Gauri says she prefers to be simple. Sarla takes a gajra with her and goes out of the room.
Precap: amma angry with Gauri's gajra, blabbering about bringing Mumbai atmosphere to Benaras which will never be acceptable. Bauji also supporting Amma. Shiv standing silently.

Amma is behaving like lady raj thakrey of UP

Day after Tomorrow is Saturday. Normally a day for drama. The way Shiv was silently watching all this dramebazi by Amma, I think tomorrow and day after is the day he will explode. I hope it is iss par or uss par. No point in Shiv standing with folded hands as Amma keeps insulting Gauri and her Mumbai culture. If he does not really hit back soon then I am afraid this insulting of Gauri will continue indefinitely. And as per KDP standards this cannot continue for long.
