I'm not still sure whether the "fainting" was real or not. On one hand, she hadn't eaten and given her age and previous fainting episode in Mumbai, it seems possible.

This Gauriya bitya was a real positive sign and the best sign was the precap here Dadi says she will test Gauri's devotion to Shiv. It is just a matter of a few episodes I expect Gauri to prove herself to Dadi.
I have a faint doubt if the CVs will again go for the tried and tested formula that Aajee employed to win over Baba.
It could be Chuttan who calls Shiv and Gauri to a room (with Dadi in the next room listening) and exhorting Shauri to go ahead and marry and walk away from Benaras otherwise Gauri will face the same problems that his wife faced in the house. Shiv may initially be tempted but Gauri will flatly refuse saying she would not like to break Shivs family links to get her happiness.
When Dadi is taking Gauri's "interview" she may give an impression that the marriage is off and tell Gauri that they can leave for Mumbai.
And when a tearful Gauri (watched by a silent and tearful Shiv) walks towards the gate with her parents, Dadi calls out,
"Arre Gauri Bitya, Shiv ko saath nahi lekar jaavat kaa???"

I'm itching to see Babuji give an earfull to Amma. So that she doesn't cause any drama once the Sawant's arrive. I really do not want to see the Sawants second guessing their hokaar to this alliance. Some uncertainty is OK but constant agnipareeksha is hard to digest.

U know I have visited Banaras once and waha ki language bhi suni. To be honest achhi lagti hai sunane me. And Banaras ghat bohot bade hai.
