Has anyone seen 'Gone Girl'?
I saw it last week. Excellent movie. Highly recommended. It doesn't feel like 2 hrs 35 mins long at all. Superb pacing, perfect editing and very good performances. A bit gory near the end but nice satire on the typically American way of sensationalizing and dramatizing 'stories'. Neither of the protagonists are too likeable but still one gets involved in the story and that's something.

OTOH, I was always looking at my watch while watching 'viTTI - dANDU' since the pacing was so bad and there was hardly a story to keep me involved. And then the badly timed songs killed whatever interest was remaining!

actually gone girl is edited in india for gory & sexual content. Could not see it and it is not there now. Also, currently most talked about movie is interstellar. Have u seen it ?

My husband saw Gone Girl with his team-mates and when he came back, I was writing a diary!
He was shocked to see that, as I write it vary rarely and coincidentally wrote on that day 😆

No, I find Sci-Fi quite illogical yet predictable (nasty aliens always landing in NYC or in the US, heroic Amyerkuns to the rescue and so on). Animation, however wonderful, is not my cup of tea. So that takes out much of the most successful Hollywood output. So also fantasy.
That leaves me with rom-coms, thrillers and dramas.
I also tend to watch movies with my favourite actors/ actresses (Tom Hanks, Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Meryl Streep, Sandra Bullock etc). They tend to act in the types of movies I like.

I am sure your husband told you WHY he was shocked 😆 The heroine of GG keeps a diary.
