Thank you Pooja! Both my MIL & FIL are very good singers and my MIL sang for close to an hour continuously at the time of my 'Gruha Pravesh' 😛. So, yes, indeed I am blessed in that matter.

Thank you for the link to the whole show Neela. 🤗 I am glad to say it wasn't cheesy like I expected it to be. 😆

Having seen Teju's parents' clip in its entirety, I thought it was incredibly moving. Their pride for Teju was shining thorough their every word about her. No wonder she broke down. BTW, I didn't know Teju had just 1 sis. I thought she had a brother as well for some reason. 😆

SSK, needs to stop his BS about when they fell in love. Even the host wasn't buying it. 😆 SSK stuck to his party line of October-November and couple minutes later, RH and MD both confirmed they were seeing each other before J entered Gokhale house. 😆 Neela, I think MD being shocked about the wedding makes sense coz they decided to get hitched rather quickly. 😉

I was right. SSK's dad is a cool guy. He also seemed like he is genuinely fond of Teju when he mentioned how he was hoping/wishing that SSK and her would end up together. SSK's sis also seems like she gets on really well with her. I liked how she called Teju her best friend. His mom...😆

I am embarrassed to say that I didn't understand a word of SSK's poem. 😳

Apologies for yet another question...but W*F is Brett Lee? Teju seems like she is still crushing on him. 😆 Its nice to see that SSK-TP have a solid bond. Teju was proud of the fact that her hubby gets so much female attention. And of course I loved that they behaved like newlyweds. 😉

Since the real life marraige - has anyone noticed the pimple appearing on TP's face for so many days !! what is make-up team doing ? also cameraman should avoid close-ups. Also looks like she has put on weight though SSK hasn't !

@mishkil, I have noticed that too.. 😆 and yes they should avoid taking close ups..I don't think that TP has put on weight..she is the same as she was before..I guess..

And, Nope, I am a Maharashtrian. Let's say, I tried to end the Maharashtra - Karnataka 'seemavaad' 😉

BTW, the uploader of these videos - Mr. Gajanan Bhat has uploaded numerous videos of Yakshagaan, if anyone is interested. Last summer, there was a whole group of artists from my husband's region that came to US and performed Yakshagaan all over US, organized by the Havyaka Sangh, Havyaka is a sub-sect of Kannidga's (correct me please Vidya on that) just like we have Kokanastha, Karhade etc. That's why I asked Vidya for the kannada version, thanks Vidya for that! 😊

On the Marathi front, Maharashtra Mandal is very active on the west coast, especially in SF, where a number of stage shows are also performed. I think, last year Abhijeet Khandkekar, host of current season of SRGMP had come along with Tejaswini Pandit for their stage show Ye re ye re paisa, to NYC, that was a nice one.

Regarding SSK's poem for TP, I would say it was quite a simple one for a poet. But am sure TP was all in awe of that gift from SSK, hope SK gets many more chances for such poetic gifts.

One thing I must appreciate about both SK and TP is their command / comfort level while speaking Marathi, unlike the present generation actors like Sai 'chick' (Ruchiii 😆 for that nomenclature) or Amruta Khanvilkar or others in their genre. I am curious to hear TP's Hindi though in her Hindi movie.

And Brett Lee is an Australian cricketer, a bowler. Apparently he has also done ramp walk for some Indian dress designer in Canada and sings for a band as well. So, TP has a desire to meet him and not any of the Indian cricketers? What's the logic behind that? Aren't there any crickters on the Indian team worth meeting anymore? Or is it just because SSK met him, she also wants to meet him?

We do understand why SK must have had a prepped version for the media. Looking at the random reactions from the public, anyone would have adopted a safe strategy.

I saw couple of nasty comments from women on FB page of HSMHG about the SK-TP wedding, such mean, unhappy souls 😡. Someone has replied to one of them strongly, basically asking that woman to shut up, kudos to that person.

SW ,You are lucky ,you had connected with such celebrities as Nitin Bhardwaj ,Sachin Khededkar ,Mohan Agashe etc .😃

My comment was a general one about ZM specials that stretch for 4.5 hrs and contain nothing but dances and skits, most of which are quite ordinary. There are some good ones now and then.
