Is Mamta Justified? - Discuss

Hi Friends

Today's episode made me think and this post is the result of that.. 😳

Today we saw that Krishu is saved by Akku and Sid.. We saw a very cute union of Akku-Mamta(though it lasted only for few seconds)😕...

I would first like to describe the scene of today..

Akku and Mamta hug each other. Mamta is happy and shedding tears of joy when she sees Akku... All this happens, then Akku asks forgiveness, tells Mamta that he has given lots of pain and torture to her and sid. He asks her to forgive him... Here we see a total twist... Mamta moves away from Akku😭cries.. The first word that comes out of her mouth is SID.... Then she asks how could you torture me and sid? How could you ever think that i could kill you???

Now to the discussion - Fine, this is justified.. But then, could Mamta not think for a second that Akku was also a victim of cruel fate, misunderstanding and circumstances? Fine!!! Its fine that she did not forgive Akku , acceptable.. But how could Mamta so easily say she is the wife of another person now?? Was it so easy for Mamta to take that decision in a split second?

I would have accepted if Mamta was in a dilemma, where her heart would long to be with her love Akku, while her mind would say, she is the wife of Sid.. This dilemma is accepted, understandable.. But, how could mamta make this decision in split seconds ? So is this the love she had for Akku?

I seriously believe, Akku should move on and probably get a better girl in his life than Mamta... 😭

Mamta is right. Akshay choose to belive stranges over his wife and best friend whom he's know longer, also Mamta has on many occasions proved to him that her love is true and faithful. He was more forgiving to Tanisha after he found out she cheated on him and after he found out Krish was not hers, and he had evidence. Here he was working on assumtion (and you know what happens when you ass-u-me)and was blinded by his hatered. She can't be going through all the trials and tribulations and he's sliding on butter all through life.

i agree...very good point Aviance..Akshay throughout all this has made accusations and allegations based on the words coming from other people...whatever happened to trust and belief in one's own people, never mind trying to verify whether it was true or not.

Very nicely put, Aviance.. 👏👏 But therre was also a phase in their life when Sid and Tani were doing all nonsensical things to seperate Akku and Mamta.. It was Akku and his stern belief in Mamta that kept them together.. Sid and Tani created all sorts of problems, but even then, Akku had total faith in his wife.. Isnt it?

Now we talk of situations and circumstances where one loses the faith over the other. I agree that Akku did work on assumptions and circumstances and scenes before him , made him believe that Mamta was responsible for his death.. I agree that he was mislead and believed things.. But yes, he too could not believe it till the temple scene happened, where he saw Sid holding Mamta's hand and proposing to her.. Mamta also remained quiet, which meant she was ok with it.. Only after seeing this, did Akku believe that SM were together.

Now talking about trusting your better half... When we talk about Akku, we cannot leave Mamta behind, isnt it? Did Mamta trust Akku enough? Afterall, Mamta too was a victim of fate, she too believed that Akku could have married Satya, isnt it? She actually accepted Satya as the Badi Bahu of the house.. So where does Mamta get better than Akku? 😳

the duirectors have not portrayed akshay's character correctly..........take teh temple scene for example....first off, akshay hears one sentence and then just leaves from there?.........major flaw?

secondly, why did mamta wait for a couple of seconds to reply back to sid about sid's proposal, during their scene at teh temple?

another flaw.........overall, both characters (to a certain extent) shouldn't be blamed for their terrible circumstance........the person who should be at fault here is sid.

akshay never actually told sid in words that akshay was married to another person already..........i think deep down he wanted to believe that akshay cheated mamta so that he could have mamta all to himself.

Since Akshay is alive, Mamta's marriage to Sid is void.

Matma is right on-leave Akku behind-if he can believe everyone but his Wife than what is the pt of Matma being w/him? She is justified in staying w/Sid who would give his life for Matma.

If its a question of belief .... Akshay did not and would not believe in Tanisha or Satya or anyone....but for him not believing in Madhav and his wife had no reasons....since his family did not know Madhav....madhav did not ask for money or anything...he just told that these two had planned to kill him. so yes fate has a major role in what happened with Akshay and Mamta. Its right of Mamta to get angry at Akshay saying that how could he think that she tried to kill him .... but then how could Mamta believe that Akshay had married Satya and that arav was his kid ? so its the same..... thats the twist
I agree that now since Akshay is back Mamta's marriage to sid is void like in Saath Phere except that in SP we want the first marriage to somehow get void 😉

Overall I think Mamta is too much of a ideal character... just like Vedika was.....itna patience to real life mein hardly dekhne milega

Technically Mamta's marriage to Sid is void since Aks is still alive. Ideally, Aks and Mamta belong together and Sid can now get back to Masuma. But...

But poor Sid...has always been there for Mamta but is played like pawn. First, he was hopelessly in love with Mamta. Convinced himself to get over it and fell in love with Masu. Then he's told to forget Masu and marry Mamta. And now if he's told forget Mamta, go marry Masu...poor guy!!!

Rightfully, M should stay with Sid but then Krish will pay for it since his parents won't be together...where should he stay. For Krish's sake A and M should get together.
